Some thoughts for males:

"My belly is getting bigger...I need to cut down on the ale"
"This beard is quite itchy...but it makes me more handsome"

A beard is only itchy at the second and fourth stage of beard growth. The rest of the time it is not.

Massive overgeneralisation regarding constant itchiness compared to the occasional itch.

1: When the stubble is too short to bend over and touch skin it's not itchy.

2: When it's long enough to bend over and touch skin but just too short to rest on their hairs beneath then it becomes itchy.

3: When the beard grows long and thick enough for the hairs below to support those above then it ceases to be itchy.

4: Once it becomes long enough for the tips to start scratching and tickling at the throat then it becomes itchy again.

5: However, once it grows over the collar (into the fifth stage) then it's no longer itchy.

Of course, if we're going to get something like this mod integrated (but with more realistic growth times) and with thoughts for different stages of beard growth, and grooming etc, then such thoughts would be absolutely welcome at the relevant stages.

Of course YPS would probably have more than 5 stages of beard growth due to the length of different beard models. Our girl could even be required to shave during the early stages of the Dibella quest before she drinks too much of Ingun's elixir which could cause beard growth to slow and eventually stop altogether (although it would gradually restore after male endings).

Integration's probably not possible but Emily might be able to look at how that mod handled beard growth if she ever decides to include such a feature in yps then it could be tied in to the hair growth system (although technically beard hair grows at a different rate from head hair for some bizarre reason).

Hello, I'm having trouble with nails. When trying to do professional nails the mod tells me that there is something that's blocking the nails, despite me being completely naked (even checked the console for hidden worn items, found nothing). I'm mildly confused and don't know where to go from here.

There is also an issue with the general makeup, sometimes it fails to lose opacity and the slavetat just disappears. Slavetat reports that it exists, YPS does too (mirror), but I don't see it and it never completely fades, just stays at 50% for example. Is there a way to force the mod to try and reapply the makeup? Removing and applying again feels wasteful.

v. 6.9.2
- The bug causing misc items like makeup foundation, fixation powder and the mirror to be ‘unclickable’ is now much less likely to appear.

[If the bug still occurs, click on the mirror first or let an YPS vendor check your fashion status. If that doesn’t help, then use the original workaround (drop 1 unit to the ground and pick it up again).]
- fixed some typos and minor inconsistencies
- mirror is now showing fashion level debuff caused by lovesickness
- removed unnecessary growth sounds
- decreased the default values for fumble and drop chances when wearing long nails
- Dibella quest: improved the default body morph values

---------

As you see it's just a small update with some bug fixes. Obviously my time for modding is currently greatly reduced. Enjoy the game, and thank you for your support and patience! 😄

Interesting new bug in this version for existing characters who've already completed the Dibella quest. for some reason these characters have the initial morph applied (the androgynous one). Setting reapply morphs once per hour then waiting an hour fixes this (after which, the hourly refresh can be turned off).

Welcome back :)

A question: I have recently found an unfinished branch of the Dibella quest in Riften. Can we expect any update on that?

I've been working on that a bit as well. But this branch is still unfinished and currently disabled.

I have a few theories about how that branch will turn out. You could go to the authorities but since her family runs the local authorities they'll probably just declare that she needs to finish the job that she started or simply "fix the problem, however she sees fit."

Hi, does anyone know if this mod can be used with Slavetats NG for the "PIERCING, MAKEUP (lipstick, eyeshadow, nail polish) and PUBIC HAIR system" function?

Kinda like that, but not exactly. But in any case, it'll be mean 😁

are there any dialogue changes from 6.9.1 to 6.9.2? It doesn't appear to be the case reading the change-log.

Internally, I added a few provisional dialogue lines, but this is work in progress and still invisible to the player (new dialogue lines are disabled).

This is about the Dibella Quest, right? Since, I noticed; For large parts of the quest our character hates being a girl and wants to go back, but on the flip side the quest forces us to put on the sample makeup - even if that may not be within our characters interest. Or after the surgery in Whiterun our character is once again devastated, but one quest stage later we're buying a dress in solitude - once again; Why is our character willing to do this? This means showing off the breasts they're uncomfortable with in a dress! I find the whole 'Not wanting to be a girl' very confusing, since our char is so back and forth with willing to try things, and then suddenly being reluctant and hating being a girl again.

Could the quest maybe be changed in a way where we can refuse the makeup and other girly things, but devious ol' Urag prefers us as a girl and still won't let us go? And maybe by the time Maven's potion is showing effects our character suddenly finds the desire to buy the dress, and be more girly? I think this progression would make a lot more sense, and would offer a more genuine 'I hate being a girl - until I didn't!' path. We could then confront Maven about the way we feel, and our sudden desires.

Your suggestion about Urag could well explain something that I have been curious about for a little while. The whole inadvertent breast surgery could only have happened if Urag didn't tell Jannsen that you were a man. After all, Jannsen tells you, post surgery, that he had been communicating with Urag before he had done your initial exam, yet Urag failed to even mention that you are a guy.  Whatever he wrote Jannsen would have needed to be extremely carefully worded to avoid any mention of the patient's gender. Since your appearance was that of a woman, the doctor's determination of your condition would then be driven by his mistaken assumption that you were a woman whose breasts had failed to develop and so that would be what he determined that he could correct with his surgery. We will just have to see what Emily plans to do about this.

BTW I think you're wrong about the PC being devastated about the breasts, I thinks he's outraged. Certainly his demands that the doctor reverse the surgery sounds to me more like "I'm furious as to what you have done to me and I demand you correct your mistake NOW!" than the reaction of someone devastated.

As for showing off his "new" breasts, he's been sort of showing off his breasts ever since he put on the bra. The only difference is that now a little skin might be showing. Still, a bit of an explanation as to why he's OK with buying a dress seems in order.

Now that I think about it, doesn't Lena give him a dress early on in the quest? About the same time as she "suggests" that he shave his armpits? As I remember, the default dress was a full coverage garment i.e. coverage from neck to ankles. So he would only have the appearance of breasts due to the cups in the Bra pushing out.

There are spots where the character may feel schizophrenic for the Dibella Quest playthrough! LOL

I imagine it's quite the challenge to come up with dialog options that properly represent the array of potential player reactions.

I don't know if Emily would ever have the time or inclination to try to iron out all those little challenges to immersion in that quest. Maybe it's not even possible. But I do wonder if it might be addressed by simplifying the dialog options down to simple choices and use the thoughts system to guide the immersion. For example, a set of thoughts might be associated with acceptance of the female appearance and the thoughts would guide the player toward corresponding dialog options. The dialog options themselves could be freed from having to communicate the player's reactions.

OTOH, that approach tends to abandon plenty of roleplay dialog options the thoughts system simply can't address by itself.:dizzy:

Anyway, massive respect to Emily for creating the mod and tolerating our requests for various tweaks while keeping the whole thing running.

Please tell me, I translated the whole json file (thought system) into my language, but in the game thoughts basically stopped appearing, where did I go wrong?

Just as a guess, did you also translate the name of the json file? If I understand the way these things work, the game is looking for the English title of the json.

No, I only translated the thoughts inside the file, the title remains original. I did not change the names of the partitions used in the “ypsThought_conditions” file either

Did you run your changed file through a json format checker app? I understand that can be one reason for a json file to not function correctly. Just Google 'json formatter'.

Thank you very much. I missed a comma in one line. Everything works now). Could you also tell me how the MSM menu is translated in this mod? I couldn't find any txt or bsa files.
