It works fine on AE. I don't know anything about Nordic Souls, but generally it's at least possible to add mods to Wabbajack lists, assuming the list isn't at the limit. Whether it'll work properly or not is another story and it depends on what mods are included in the list you're using and how it's set up. They probably have a Discord for support, or some kind of documentation about the viability of adding new mods.

They should have the standard "What have you got for sale?" dialogue option like any other vendor. Maybe double check and make sure you have all the correct versions of the requirements installed and running?

Alright, the options appear after some time — maybe I’ve installed too many mods that add dialogues, lol. I have a new question though: I can’t figure out how to remove the devious nipple piercings. They just keep re-equipping themselves even after I use the piercing removal tools from the Devious Devices mod. I wanted to try some other piercing mods, but I’m barred from doing so because of this. I’m pretty sure it’s also the cause of my character’s constant arousal due to the constant vibrating. :(

Hey All,

I am having an issue with the Nails portion of this mod. Specifically, once I use any Nail Polish for the first time I can no longer equip any gloves. I tried using the Nail Polish Remover, but even then it still will not let me equip any gloves. Is there a setting I need to check/uncheck or something I am missing?

Long nails can't fit inside gloves. You might be able to adjust this in the mcm. Check on the nails page and try to see if disabling the "can't apply nail polish while wearing items" option works although I suspect it won't. Fingerless gloves work but they need to be set up properly with the fingerless gloves keyword (either in the tool set or using a SE mod that allows you to manually add keywords to items).

Thank you for the response and suggestion. I believe I tried the option of disabling the "can't apply nail polish while wearing items", but I can definitely try it again.

So it sounds like what happens is once nail polish is applied your character is flagged as having long nails and there is nothing that removes that. I do see a file in this thread that adds that fingerless flag to gloves, but I was hoping to get away without adding another mod to the list. ;)

Well, I downloaded the YPSNailKYWD file and it loaded in my MCM just fine. The mod says that the Thieves Gloves and basic Gloves both have the keyword applied, but I still can not equip them.

However, I loaded up a fresh game and tested adding nail polish to a new character. They were able to equip the Thieves Gloves no problem. So then I went back to my other save and discovered that there may be something else preventing me from wearing gloves. Specifically, if I use Nail Polish Remover or new Nail Polish of a different color, my Nails do not change. I am wondering if something bugged with the nails. If so, are there any console commands to remove the nails or (for lack of better phrasing) "restore them to factory default"?

I am thinking I may need to restart the game anyways. I found a couple of conflicting combat mods that are also giving me grief and will break the game if I uninstall them. Currently I can work by turning them off, but a cleaner approach would be to remove them, so if push comes to shove then I may just have to restart.

Hi, I was using the Bimbo of Skyrim mod, and when It tried to change my character's hair to blonde, it didn’t work. I went to an npc to change the color, but it didn’t work either. However, when I asked for info, it said my hair was blonde. I opened RaceMenu, and for a brief moment, the blonde hair appeared before switching back to the original color. This is strange because during a mod mission, my hair turned pink and then back to the normal color.

My character is female, i was't doing any quest, i didn't do the dibella quest, but i did do what i could of the "A girl in skyrim quest".

Try using the potion of natural hair color change from this mod and see if that works. I imagine the mod vendors have it or use Add Item Menu or similar.

You could also try items that utilise the Forearm slot. The hand slot and forearm slot are mutually exclusive. All the gloves and gauntlets utilise the hand slot but the forearm slot is used by items such as hide bracers, imperial steel bracers etc. Some armour mods utilise the forearm slot but it's mostly hand slot.

Forearm items can be equipped with long nails no problem.

You'll want to select Vampire Hair Control in the hair page of the MCM. More specifically, you might want to turn it on shortly after saving, turn on frequent hair fix, then turn off both after about 8-20 seconds. If your character is ever cured of vampirism you'll still experience vampire issues with YPS as if you're still a vampire forever so you'll want to keep doing whatever you did with the vampire hair fix after being cured to keep things working properly.

@emily1673@Balgin

Are there any game/mod breaking bugs with using the Vampire Hair Control? I ended up becoming one by accident recently in my current playthrough and didn't know about the conflicts with this mod until now. Also, does having the Vampire Hair Control and Frequent Hair Fix/Check both on affect the performance after extended periods of use later on in one's playthrough? Since it's still rather "experimental". I intended to eventually switch between vampire and werewolf, and my last save before becoming a vampire is pretty far back, but I'd rather bite that bullet and reload than risk having my 600+ hr playthrough potentially borked. And I couldn't possibly play without the immersion of this mod's really great hair growth feature.

edit: After putting Vampire Hair Control on (turns out I was already using Frequent Hair Check), my character's hair went crazy for a couple of seconds and my vampire eyes disappeared with my previous human eyes remaining. Is that how it is supposed to function? I've also noticed Vampire Hair Control changed my race from Nord Vampire back to Nord. I also notice when using lipstick and eyeshadow, one of which will no longer stay. Either my eyeshadow disappears, or my lipstick disappears. Are those meant  to be the bugs?

If so, yeah, I recommend no one trying to become a vampire while using this mod because not only will it stop you from being able to feed as a vampire because it switches your race back to whatever it was before you turned, in my case a human Nord, but on top of that you will be locked out of key features of the mod like makeup. Which means pretty much skipping the Dawnguard DLC and/or being a Vampire Lord. Furthermore, the mod could lock you out of doing any quests to cure Vampirism normally because it switches your race back to human. In order to do the quest with Falion, you need to hear a rumor from an innkeeper while being a vampire, so if you use Vampire Hair Control before starting the quest you will no longer be able to. Not sure about the Companions quest of turning into a werewolf curing it, but I imagine since you're "human" it won't cure it as well. So, atp, your only way is using console commands which could cause further problems down the line.

And even after becoming human again, the makeup still doesn't work right. Even after using the removing all YPS tattoos option in the MCM.

is this mod still being developed? is forced tf viable?

The basic framework of the mod is finished. The author, though pressed for time IRL, continues development where time permits. That's been with one minor update in 2025, I believe.

As for "forced tf" that depends on how one sees it. YPS does have a quest resulting in gender change and it's designed to be potentially coercive. But the coercion isn't overt so far as I can tell. So mileage might vary on that. It's fair to call the feminization aspects of the mod potentially coercive. I believe the mod author intends to clarify the multiple routes toward gender change within that mod quest.

If this mod doesn't tick that box properly for you, perhaps this one will (still in development, so finding the answer might take awhile).

How far along are you in the quest? If you haven't completed the transform from male to female none of the items you have equipped to date - makeup, high heel training boots, nylons, earrings, etc. are removable. I don't remember exactly when your PC gets a mirror but if you have gotten it, use it. Click on it in your inventory (message comes up 'not equippable' or some such), close the inventory and you will get a text box showing the current status of every item you have equipped. If you haven't finished the quest, they will be marked as unchangeable.

With respect to the nail polish, remember your PC received a professional manicure. This included nail extensions. These are not removeable using polish remover even after you complete the quest. Hence, you can't wear gloves unless the gloves have the "fingerless" attribute. (Most don't) As I understand it, you can, if you're comfortable enough with xEdit, using xEdit open the mod that has the gloves you want to wear and add that attribute to them. There are supposedly several YouTubes out there that can walk you through the process.

Can now confirm that those tutorials aren't the easiest thing to find.

I've been hoping to find a fairly clear instructional on that process. Tried using Quick Armor Rebalance to add the keywords and that was a colossal failure. I mean, I think the keywords got added, but functionality with nails didn't happen AFAICT.

Hey, hopefully I'm just doing something silly, but in the Diabella quest I'm at the stage where I need to attempt to remove the nail polish and eyeshadow. The nail polish removal (which goes into potions in my inventory) works fine, comes up with the failed to remove and marks that as completed, however the eyeshadow removal pad that shows up in misc items doesn't do anything when I try to use it in my inventory. Is there something I'm missing about how you use the eyeshadow removal pad? Is this a bug?

I think this happened last time I tried to do the quest and ended up going and digging around for the quest stages to just set the quest to the next stage, but that's not idea.

I think you use the applicator brush for eyeshadow removal, which works to remove eyeshadow if you're equipped with the removal pads.

Using the applicator normally offers the option to either apply or remove eyeshadow. Use the second option, and hopefully it should work for you.

The most common reason for that stems from the requirement to update using the Slavetats menu.

On that menu there's an option to "add/remove tattoos.." YPS applies makeup and piercings using overlays managed by Slavetats.

Use the add/remove button. If that doesn't work come back and seek more help.

So I did update the slavetats but I cannot find any yps tats in there, any ideas?

If the SlaveTats add/remove didn't work, I would next suggest you confirm you have the correct YPS sound/texture pack installed and activated.

I'm so confused because this mod has been working fine for awhile, but I loaded into the game today, and my characters hair is growing, all it says is "Your hair has grown to" with no specific length, and it's prompting to choose a hairstyle, I pick one, there's no change, then 15 seconds later, I'm prompted again with the same "Your hair has grown to" message.

I haven't installed any new mods, or changed my load order at all. It's just decided to start doing this after like, 10 hours of gameplay. Is there fix? Or do I need to start a new game?

Could you try running the save through Save Cleaner?

Thank you this worked!

Now I have a new problem though, I'm at the stage of the quest where you are feeling unwell/uneasy and you are supposed to be given a potion (at least that's what the dialogue says) and the second letter to deliver to Ray. However, when I finish the conversation I only get given the letter, no potion, and the quest doesn't progress. My only theory is that it's because of Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul, but other potions like the lipstick remover still exist fine and I assume it's a unique quest thing rather than a craftable potion.

Like the eyeshadow remover pads the function of the potion is unusual. You never have to manually quaff it. Periodically a dialog box will open saying you're feeling weird and you're asked if you want to sip the potion. Click the sip option and you've taken a dose.

That's a solid assumption.

It takes time for the dialog box to appear. It's a daily occurrence, IIRC. If you go for over a day and don't get the prompt then there may be some sort of incompatibility or weirdness going on for you. I don't think the elixir appears among the potions, though. I think it appears in the miscellaneous category among soul gems and stuff like that. But since you never have to activate it manually, it doesn't really matter where it appears. You just need to figure out whether something's interfering with its intended function.

I'm not sure but I think you misread his/her post. What's being asked is "where's the potion".

mirzaarmy - you're not given the potion. Emily changed that some while ago. Now, you need to go to Riften and get the potion from Ingun Black Briar. Emily's reason was to add some time between when you got the second letter and when was the earliest you could deliver it.

That's a fair point in that I failed to remember the updated progression with the trip to Riften. So there should be no expectation of getting the potion before the visit to Riften and the dialog with Ingun Blackbrier, assuming the player is using a version of the mod with that update.

I'll answer again to cover that base. Thanks.

As KentuckyExPat pointed out, the current version of the quest includes a trip to Riften to obtain the potion from Ingun Blackbriar. I apologize for not including that detail in my earlier answer. You get no potion until the dialog with Blackbriar. Otherwise it's as I said, where you use the potion via a dialog box every 24 hours or so.

Dunno why, but when using this mod with BoS, when reaching full corruption as a male and then transforming into a woman, after leaving the racemenu, the growthsound.wav file keeps playing over and over intermittently... I was using 6.9.1, but after switching to 6.9.2 the sound keeps intermittently looping in my save even after trying things like the sechange command or going back into racemenu...

Is my save file borked? Should I reload back and then see if updating has fixed my problem?

Thanks, I wasn't aware of a change like this. I went back and listened to the dialogue again, she doesn't mention going to Riften or Ingun at all, just says here's the potion. The quest log also doesn't update. I hoped maybe it was the YPS thoughts sounds packs might not having been updated and using old dialogue, so I tried going and talking to Ingun in riften and there are no dialogue options, I'm assuming because the quest hadn't progressed to the next stage correctly. I've also tried going and talking to Roy to give him the letter since I was given that, and that didn't work either. Maybe I just need to manually progress the quest stages.

Before it was changed you could just walk outside and drop off the letter at the inn, go back to the hall of attainment and Lena would claim to have gone to Solitude for the last few days and be back already. Now that you get go spend time going to Riften and coming back Lena has a more believable time scale and, more importantly, it ties Ingun in to the side branch about trying to avoid surgery and being tricked into it. That particular side branch is not fully complete yet but hopefully Emily will come back and update it at some point.
