Immersive Hair Growth and Styling (YPS Devious & Immersive Fashion 2025-06-08)

Got some weird ctd recently. Sitting down while wearing the strange foot device cause the game to freeze and ctd. If I remove them it works fine. Started a new play after the last update, and it worked fine before that

I apologize in advance if this has been answered, but I've attempted lurking for the past few hours, on this board, but can't find an answer to my question. Doubly so as this relates to heels not being recognized and I did see the topic come up a number of times.

I am on Skyrim SE version 1.6.1170, running yps-Immersive-Fashion 6.8.3.1 alongside yps-SoundTexturePackage 240223 SE to accompany BoS 1.8.2. I've progressed far enough with heels that they are now permanently arched and my char cannot wear any footwear that isn't high heels. However, when I don nordic steel plate boots from TAWOBA, shoes that are clearly high-heeled, to the point that they make high heel sounds when I move, I receive the message telling me they are not high heels and they are removed. I am further confused as the Ebony boots from the same mod are counted as high heels and will not be removed... The mods I have related to heels aside from YPS are RaceMenu High Heels Fixes, Heels Sounds 1.6 SSE-AE(which seems to have been deleted? Hmm), and HeelsFix. 

I understand from my lurking that HDT Heels (or this one?) is no longer seeing support and that NIO Heels is being used instead. But there is no NIO Heels for Skyrim SE as far as I can tell... is NIO Heels compatible with my version of Skyrim? The closest I could find relating to it was this, would it work? Or is the presence of Heels Sounds 1.6 SSE-AE messing with things? I'll be looking into why it was deleted now.

I am the big dumb. A simple change of allowed heel values in YPS's MCM menu fixed my problem. Feel free to ignore this or gawk at how dumb I am. So dumb.

I still have the problem where there's no armpit hair being applied to my PC. Only stage 1 shows stubble, which I assume is from slavetats itself, but Stage 2 and onward nothing shows up. I'm using the suggested Nordic Warmaiden Body hair mod. Has anyone gotten that to work?

now im thinking of it could the trauma overlays from sexlab survival cause the problem or maybe high poly head? high poly head is not downloadable on nexus anymore so i dont know where i got it from

Are the slavetats not applied? Please check in slavetats MCM.

They're applied for stage 1, but afterwards they aren't. It's strange because everything else works. Sha's nails are applied in slavetat's MCM, and I have it set to locked in YPS's MCM so nothing overrides it by accident. The pubic hair is applied, makeup is applied, etc. It's just the armpit hair which isn't applied after stage 1.

Did you install "Nordic Warmaiden Body Hair", as stated in the mod description?

Yes, although I installed the Nordic Warmaiden Body Hair Slavetats SE Version since I thought it would be the optimal one

I recently got issue for some of the piercings not working correctly. Though this playthrough I mainly play BoS + YPS mix and it seems the ear piercing bugged too on several starts. Basically short after start I go to solitude and ask for my ears getting pierced. Logs etc comes fine that all has gone correctly but the piercings do not appear. When I talk the piercer again she will do it again.

Once I got the BoS clit things or tried to do same for the clit same kind of behaviour. When I try to equip the BoS piercings there is no logging the piercing simply doesnt go on even my character is naked.

I tried to test with ayleid piercings and they have nipple, navel and clit. And all of them went on without problem.

I red from the main post that if there are piercing problems that I should turn off MONITOR. Dont know what that is but going to try it soon. It would be nice though if the piercing system could work as intended. I am not sure if its good idea but basically I never liked that you can just popin and popout piercings so since DD has force wear system maybe it would work on them? I know some mods add options to the DD equipment examination menu. So if you tried to interract with the piercings you could perhaps do action on them or something this way too.

Anyhow bit sad that the piercing system has issues and that also breaks BoS bimbo equipment checks.

Downloaded Body Slot display and at least BoS clit piercing attaches on slot 50 which is by default used by 3BA physics.

I so dislike this slot mechanism. Wish someone added enough slots that there was not these stupid conflicts.

I was wondering that the gold ball clitoris stud not being visible. It appears the slave tat used for it is not compatible with 3BA. I zoomed deeply in the character model and the ball seems to be inside the vagina lips and not displaying outside.

Did you "batch build" everything in BodySlide? And did you check the box for Build Morphs? That's often the cause of things not lining up properly.

Does anyone know of a mod that will smudge makeup during or after sex? I know SLS has bandits apply smudged makeup after the fact but is there another mod that make is so that the currently applied make up smudges?

Another issue I need to raise if it hasn't been already; starting a new game w/ 6.8.4.1, and even after setting sex to female, I don't get the prompt for hair. I can trigger it by disabling the option to manage hair then re-enabling it. Maybe it'd be best to just default that option to off?

I always build the morphs with bodyslide batch build. I am not sure if this somehow morph slider issue though as I am using some character preset that I believe changed some vagina things and I am not sure if BoS morphs do something similar.

@emily1673 unfortunately, the newest version of YPS still has the bug/conflict between nail meshes and DD gloves. Everything was working fine up until 6.8.x. Don't suppose you have a handy solution for this problem, like DD keywords working like ypsFingerlessGloves? Anyway, that is a bit of a problem for me. And since I'm on LE, I can't use Sha's nails. Quite a bummer.

I'm thinking about doing a vampire playthrough, but wonder how well it goes with YPS Fashion?  I believe there were issues in the past , but what about now?,  Is there still an issue or can we use YPS fashion with on a vampire now?

You'll want to select Vampire Hair Control in the hair page of the MCM. More specifically, you might want to turn it on shortly after saving, turn on frequent hair fix, then turn off both after about 8-20 seconds. If your character is ever cured of vampirism you'll still experience vampire issues with YPS as if you're still a vampire forever so you'll want to keep doing whatever you did with the vampire hair fix after being cured to keep things working properly.

I'll try installing both. To clarify, I can manually apply the armpit hair myself in Slavetats's MCM but YPS doesn't automatically apply it as each stage progresses like it should

I think i have installed all the mods needed but if i try to paint feet nails. the mod mechanics work after it's done the feet still is normal.

any tips what i can do?
