Hmm, maybe the auto cleaning is targeting something sensitive and breaking it.

 

Try the third method, manually search for CRDE in the top left corner, the script filter. Open the script tab in the tree viewer on the left, select any script that starts with crde and delete them, then do the same for forms, then save.

 

That way you should just clean Deviously enslaved from your machine without the auto cleaner attacking other scripts, avoid the fix # button.

 

Push comes to shove, you might just have to live without DEC on that save. Saves do become harder to keep working the longer they accumulate mod garbage, but I have no solution for that, and you said the save was stable before the save cleaning right?

 

There is another save cleaner (script scalpel) but I never bothered learning it, maybe that would work better for you? Mark made a script cleaner for Crash fixes part of his tools, you might want to consider using that instead too if you use crash fixes 8+

Hi,

 

I may have found a bug.  I am doing a play through with out Deviously Cursed Loot or Captured Dreams Shop.  (just to try something different).

 

But when a follower approaches me with a piece of apparel they just found, they some times try to give me the Striptease Collar from DCL. 

 

Under set up options -> Weight events: I have Unique Collars slider down to 0. 

 

Its not game breaking, just results in no items and weird text in the upper left of my screen.

 

Just a fyi.

striping is from DCL, but some other sleep mods from nexus offer this option aswell

 

i had that same issue long ago than i started to use mods in skyrim

 

what can break your LAL start:

- mods that need a patch to work with LAL

- messed up load order (for example LAL not at the end of your load order., LAL patches not below LAL)

- choosing an option from LAL start into an area of skyrim that you have heavily modded

- more than one conflicting LAL start modifications (mods)

 

DEC doesnt change anything in LAL

 

EDIT:

- and even FINS not used or used with errors might cause this

- you might have to reload at least once in the LAL prison to give all mods time to load (some mods update or load only after a reload or cell change (simulated thru reload)

- choosing a LAL start you missing mod for

- some mods will be incompatible with LAL vanilla start option

What I do when starting a new game using LAL and mods that work with it.

 

Wait for all the blah blah blah at the top left corner of the screen to stop scrolling by and completely go away.

 

Configure sexlab first and make sure it is activated in game.

 

Configure other mods like SD and DA etc. making sure they are activated in game.

 

Configure all other mods then save and exit the game restart the computer because reasons and then start the game again load the save I made and play it.

I think CRDE is using the wrong file name to check for the mod "From the Deeps."

 

I was troubleshooting CRDE not detecting NPCs (the list is populated but does not reflect NPCs in the current cell) -- I'm currently working through your save cleaning advice from the front page -- when I noticed this in my papyrus log:

 

     [04/01/2017 - 08:47:24PM] ERROR: File "zFromTheDeepsV2.esp" does not exist or is not currently loaded.

 

On my system, the esp for From the Deeps 2.52 is "ZaFromTheDeepsV2.esp" -- your detection appears to be missing an "a" (subject to change whenever the mod updates . . . )

Edit: This should have fixed it, don't forget to refresh mods detection (MCM->DEC->Debug->)

 

Does the log only report files it doesn't find? I can't find it in the output at all.

Great mod.

 

Hope It will update more enslavement lock-out options for those supported mod, than only for SD+.

 

I play with other enslavement mod like cused loot and devious cidhna etc. So I have to carefully remenber to disable DEC everytime I started a enslavery quest.

 

Yesterday I was happy playing with forswarm friend for "Keeping up morale". A forswarm ravager suddenly sought me to the simply slavery auction, despite how upset Madanach would be. LOL

Yes. I'm too lazy to add a debug output for each and every reference DEC looks at for mod compatibility, ballparking there should be over 100 of them.

 

If you want to check in-game if it has loaded, it would be slow and tedious, but you could type SQV crdeModsMonitor into your console and using pageup/pagedn scroll through the variables to see which ones loaded and which ones are still NONE

 

I haven't kept uptodate with FTD, right now the only variable DEC looks for is the faction variable, because I think FTD's author uses zaz slave factions and adds the player, so you should be un-enslaveable during the quest anyway. The faction was used to stop other slaves from attacking you I think is all, otherwise you can always turn DEC off.

You are un-enslavable wearing cursed loot items unless you turned the cursed loot item detection off, if it's still on (default) then cursed loot items that aren't meant to come off block enslavement. Locking sex for these quests seemed counter intuitive, I thought the point of hte mod was to increase sex and enslavement during these kind of situations.

I have cleared druadach redoubt once before I play the cidhna mine quest. should it be the newly respawned forswarm ravager no included to correct fraction? though they are also friendly to me after the mine quest. (have no idea about modding:(

 

edit: another thing found, the option for post-sex "trigger after all sex" once turned on, then cannot be toggle off.

I used to turn it on once, maybe back on version 13.6.7(dont remember), now I turned it off but it keeps hooking.

In debug information i can see log "slvl cursed loot leanGG 3", "player is busy slave, cant be approched, leaving early".

It seems main enslavement function be lockde-out correctly, while the post-sex function goes out of control.

 

I used a hard save and savetool for update from 13.6.7 to 13.7.0, maybe that reason?

And I tried using savetool to remove every CRDE keyword, reinstall 13.7.0. with default-toggled off in mcm menu, It still hooking every post-sex.

Hmm, didn't include those guys in a list of NPCs that won't attack you, because them using player for sex after the quest fits the tone, just not them enslaving you...

 

Well that's fixable at least.

 

edit: another thing found, the option for post-sex "trigger after all sex" once turned on, then cannot be toggle off.

I used to turn it on once, maybe back on version 13.6.7(dont remember), now I turned it off but it keeps hooking.

You mean the toggle in the menu gets stuck ON, or you turn it OFF but it still happens regardless? I can't seem to replicate the toggle getting stuck on this machine.

 

There was a bug where DEC would allow post-sex DD/Enslave for one sex event after an approach was started but canceled, I think I fixed this in 13.8, if you use the test let me know if you still get the same thing, I haven't seen it happen since I made the patch, although that doesn't say much since I don't play or test as much as I should.

Enslavement status was never used to stop items post-sex, although that's not a bad idea for enslavement lvl 3 at least. Will probably add that. I'm daft, of course it wasn't already in the code because at lvl 3 you won't get approached for DEC sex at all, so you would never get that far in the code. The bug where you get post-sex from non-dec sex is the cause of this bug...

Last time my test is having some consensual sex through "reward your followers",

while i'm not in any cursed loot quest nor in any DDs.

"trigger after all sex" is toggled OFF

for getting obvious result, "victim requirements" is also toggled OFF and chance for dd is 100%.

 

result is: post-sex keeps working, asI receive DDs everytime had sex.

 

Well, for now this not critical bug, I can set chance for stealkeys/dd/enslave to 0, slaver NPC can still put me into enslavement through only dialogue.

"critical" is a bit of an exaggeration. If you teleport halfway through a loop cycle, NPC search will be old/stagnant and nothing will happen. There is no check in the code to stop/reset if the player changes locations, I just assumed that most users wouldn't notice and the next cycle will be auto-corrected anyway.

 

There is no dynamic way to check new NPCs as the player moves without it being an even bigger draw on the scripting engine, and DEC is already heavy enough to make users drop it from their load order.

 

You could up the refresh rate by decreasing the event interval on the first page. That way you'll get more attempts and you'll get an attempt sooner after teleporting.

 

Edit: Oh you're talking about the bug where follower search gets stuck, try 13.8

Are you using crash fixes? If save cleaning with savetool breaks your save and you're using crash fixes you should download  the save cleaner made by markd which takes the memory fix into account and won't break your save because savetool wasn't updated to handle that case.

 

Even without crash fixes, there was one save I had where cleaning any of the big mods, DEC included, would break it. Not sure what that means, but since I couldn't clean/fix DEC/SD/DCUR/Mia's lair, I just reverted save and ignored it as a fluke.

 

If you're getting crashes by loading your save, after uninstalling, without save cleaning... that's completely new to me, don't know what that means. Papyrus log?

Hi guys, hoping to nail down this MCM not showing up issue.

I've used DEC for a long time now, and this happens every once in a blue moon- DEC's MCM starts failing to load.  This has happened maybe 2 or 3 times in the past- this particular time I've tentatively pinned it down to starting to be a problem after purging a number of follower mods (and follower mods only, I believe- this was a few weeks ago so I don't recall exactly) and rerunning my utilities (PerMa Patcher, FNIS, Bodyslide)

Because the list was extensive, I also purged my previous save games (which I now regret) so I have no older papyrus logs from when it was still working, but here is one from a new save, hopefully it helps

I browsed through the last 20 or so forum pages and didn't find anything helpful, although I can at least confirm ahead of time that I do have UIExtensions installed at version 1.2


Edit: after double checking, it appears that DEC isn't / wasn't caught in my Perma patcher's run, so maybe that's part of the problem.  I'll rerun it and report back sometime tomorrow

Never heard of PerMa patcher, not sure what it does.

 

This log is a disaster. DEC fails catastrophically in this log, there's nothing but errors, no signs that anything is working at all (which the errors would backup since these errors should prevent the mod from doing anything)

PlayerMon dies because the engine can't run it (unknown type at runtime), then every other part of the mod dies because everything centers around PlayerMon. The function that caused the engine to crash is this (on my current version, but I don't think I changed it since 13.7):

This function was used in 10.0's guard interaction functionality, which I haven't touched in a long time and is probably broken in some way.

 

This is the only line of code that has a custom type for the first error in the log to complain about.

localBounty = (Mods.xazMain as xazpEscortToPrison).FindCurrentHoldFaction().GetInfamy() 

Where the type is part of xaz prison overhaul. What I think is happening here is either the mod was uninstalled or got corrupted, but DEC thinks it's installed and working. DEC checked Mods.modLoadedPrisonOverhaul found it to be true (old value) and continued on to the line of code that broke the mod. The following line in your log supports this theory: Papyrus can't find xazpEscortToPrison

You should be able to fix this by cleaning DEC from your save with a save cleaner, assuming you know how to clean DEC from your saves. Cleaning DEC from the save would force DEC to look through all mod soft dependencies because all memory of past mod checkes would be erased, then it won't reach this code in a dangerous state. I should hedge this code against it being yanked out early, which I can fix in the next release.

 

Not sure why you would delete a save though, even if a save is ruined/corrupted (or so you think) leaving it there on your HDD won't stop your game from working or anything. It doesn't cause damage to the game just by existing in the save folder, it has to be loaded into the game to cause problems, viewing the save from the save loading viewing part of the game is pretty safe. In the past, I've left condemed saves and come back later with fewer mods to find I can still load into them months later because of some weird reason, then again I had the space to leave them there maybe you have a small SSD?

I don't really have a good excuse for why I delete my saves.  I'd like to say I do it for space saving reasons, but I have plenty of hard drive space.  Call it habit maybe?  I'll try to just keep a backups folder for older ones in the future.

Anyway, I did a bit of testing this morning.  I went to do the save tool items on the mod page as recommended and did the second option first (specifically choosing DEC and removing it's items) - same issue as before

I then uninstalled it, did the first cleaning option, opened the game (before reinstalling)

Then I sat for a while trying to figure out the problem.  It occurred to me that I've been having issues with FMEA (v1.20) in the past with problems related to DEC somehow - if DEC is installed, FMEA's plugins all load at version 0.00.  So I uninstalled FMEA, and DEC started working again.

Yeah, I have no clue what within the two mods would conflict, but uninstalling FMEA was the only thing I did between these saves, as per my post, and suddenly there was no issue again.  I would love to figure out how I can get the two playing nicely, as the little I looked into FMEA looked fun. Loved some of the lockpicking shenanigands, but I haven't been able to even try out the new enchanting (or the older ingredient) things because of my aforementioned issue (all my plugins loading as version 0.00)  I can PM you or move to your support topic about that though, instead of staying in DEC's chat

Have you tried installing FMEA 1.30 now you have DEC running - would be interesting to see what turned up in the log for both DEC and FMEA when you tried that
