  2. getplayerteammate returns 1, the follower should be good to go. Allow me to ask a question which may once again nominate me for Master of the Obvious -- does the "Allow ONLY Followers" checkbox mean I need at least two followers? Thanks again

  4. HOW? Where in the GUI is this option? Steam updated itself on me and I am literally unable to find a permanent off option. I get "update immediately", "keep updated", "update on launch", and Update with priority over all other games. Please show me The Way. Thanks
  5. Is there a way to tag a follower as a follower? What does yarm use to determine follower(s)? I'm assuming the current follower faction. Explanation: I have an old follower that came with no keywords whatsoever. As far as yarm was concerned, the follower didn't exist. Thanks to a an earlier post, I added the ActorTypeNPC [KYWD:00013794] keyword and yarm recognizes the npc, just not as a follower. If I tick the "require follower" checkbox, zero scenes occur. I'm using EFF to manage followers. I was assuming it would add the currentfollowerfaction, but I see it has its own faction, CurrentFollowerExtendedFaction. Does yarm detect eff? Lastly, I see yarm itself has a "paya_KWD_ValidFollower" keyword -- if I manually add it to the follower will I foul up my game (plus is it implemented or a work in progress)? Thanks! P.S. I'm using yarm 1.1 upgraded over 1.

Edit: And once again, I take so long trying to decide what to enter in a post an entire discussion has taken place without me, For those of us experiencing the scaling problem, I believe I have a workaround. Download OsmelMC's "SexLab Utility Plus v20211020" (as of this writing) https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/10316-osmelmc-mod-tweaks/ Install "patch not extra" option (I have a potato pc,, and this choice does does not install an esp), and let it overwrite SLSO. From my limited testing, the SLSO widgets work and the player doesn't get shrunk. Note that OsmelMC only claims compatibility with SLSO up to 1.7.2, so there may be problems I simply haven't noticed yet.
  7. +1 on a selectable hotkey for the on/off toggle., please. I've only played around with it in Mistveil Keep. That's kind of hilarious, I think I'd want it off for the Temple of Kynareth, the Temple of the Divines, the Halls of the Dead, for immersion's sake. Thanks
  8. Using "Sexlab Survival 0.662 BETA (12-May-2021)," The PC is transported to the Whiterun guard shack for escort assignment, which fails because the json defaults to empty. I then sneak into the back to attempt to rob all the sleeping guards. I'm not detected when the first guard WAKES UP to forcegreet me as an enforcer. Once I'm detected, ALL the other guards wake up to enforcer forcegreet me. I had to gradually move my way to the door to Whiterun and dial down the number of guard enforcers. My thoughts 1) Is there a way to disable the forcegreet when the enforcer NPC is asleep? 2) Is there a way to add a timeout between forcegreets? I get the same at the gates sometimes -- I get forcegreeted by one gate guard, then the other, once I got a third forcegreet in a row from a randomly passing enforcer. Thanks
  9. Mod Behavioral question: How many followers will the prison system retain? The scenario is: imprisoned once, follower riveted to wall, time served, follower kept in cage, new follower recruited, imprisoned again, second follower riveted to wall, notice first follower in cage during the escape attempt, receive notification you have successfully escaped. Where should I expect the second follower to be -- following, dismissed, or in a second cage? Thanks
  10. So, I seem to be a magnet for problems that no one else ever sees. What would you need to troubleshoot this? Can you troubleshoot this? I set up two crosses inside Dragonsreach, by Jarl Balgruf's throne.   11. What is modding Skyrim but an unending process of troubleshooting, clutching your head in frustration, and raving incoherently at an uncaring computer screen? The games over the string limits were running fine (until they didn't run at all), but it prevented me from loading the saves in the old savegame tools I'm familiar with. Crash Fixes, yup. Load Game CTD fix, yup yup. NVAC I had not heard of. I will give a try, thanks!
  12. Maybe once I get the game running reliably again I will try DD5 again. My new infinite loading screen problems seem to be a conflict between SLAX and SLSO (they both supply a version of slamainscr.pex). My working theory is that when I upgraded to DD5, I rearranged things in the MO left pane. I am currently delusionally hopeful that the latest community patch for SLAX, overwriting the previous version of slamainscr.pex, will solve the problem. If not, the SLAX support topic suggests switching back to SLAR from SLAX. Starting over, it will only take a week to tell !!!
  13. Although I know no one cares, I cannot blame this on DD5. One week into the DD-free playthrough, and, like clockwork, the [insert _ALL_ the expletives here] game will not load. This time, though, I can run the last save through my installed cleaners -- only two active scripts, no suspended scripts, no orphaned arrays, NOTHING detectably wrong. Last line in the papyrus log across several attempts to load recent saves, and yes, I know that it's not necessarily related, is slamainscr starting maintenance, so once I stop gibbering madly I will go haunt the sexlab aroused redux support topic. If anyone has read this far, sorry for taking up your time.
  14. Sorry, I didn't mean to imply you caused me to remove DD5. You didn't cause it at all. I uninstalled DD5.1 because I was sick of the crashes. Let me explain. I'm on metered Internet, and at the end of April I actually had several gigabytes left, so I decided to upgrade Devious Devices. I spent the whole month of May starting new playthroughs, because I would get at most a week, about 100 saves, and the game would happily MAKE new saves, but would not subsequently LOAD the saves. And of course it pushed all the saves over the string limit, so although I could play, I couldn't what's in the saves with my installed save tools. These are regressions from DD4.3. So I gave DD5 the kibosh. Started one day into a new playthrough, and you posted your EFF-only support policy. I started another new playthrough. At this point, I noticed the system while running Skyrim was using roughly 3 gigabytes less RAM, and the CPU is not pegged to the ceiling, even in combat, your PA whipping animations play successfully, and random encounter mods are actually working. Plus I'm up to 186 saves in this playthough and counting, saved games will load in SaveTool, and the stack dumps have gone way, way down (no more hundreds upon hundreds simultaneous instances of OnItemRemoved when a guard confiscates your arrows). So . . . no more DD5 for me.
