Is this project still ongoing?

Of course not, the author hasn't been back to the forum and posted for several hours. That is an indication of complete abandonment of the mod, you will be lucky to ever see an update or get an answer to any questions. /sarcasm

 

LOL - seriously, not intending to pick on you but you need to read back a few messages at the least before asking questions like that. You'll get a lot more out of the forums when you do and won't have to ask questions where the answer is readily available which means you'll often get answers without having to wait for them to be provided and if the question is holding back your gameplay you'll be playing again much faster.

Hey there kenjoka! Could it be possible to not make the player run between cities just to deliver a message (riften enslavement), I'm pretty sure that I could have convinced Maven without running back to whiterun to tell Zaid he has a small dick. In extension, could it also be possible to have representatives of zaid in the enslaved cities so we can get quests and complete them on site? With the version 2 you are working on, you could create semi-unique buffer quests per hold, which would reduce the feeling of "grind" the player can get over time.

 

I kinda second this. Returning to Zaid all the time seems a bit unnecessary. In Riften you had a contact of Zaid helping you to deal with Maven - at first at least. Guys like that should be around for every major hold quest, staying in contact with Zaid etc, so every hold quest would be rather self-contained. Maybe with some exceptions...

 

The buffer quests mentioned here are quite nice of an idea - for example the contact locking you away/giving you to play to someone etc while waiting for Zaid's answer, plenty of room for nasty little ideas ^^

may i ask, what exactly is choosen under the tab "outfits" for females (free, slaves, etc)

 

Also, i didn´t upgrade the mod quite a while. With the actual version is it possible to work as a female char for the organisation (as a free female)? I tried every dialog option in my game, but then realize my version. :D

The outfits are predefined sets of clothing. I believe they are all BDSM in nature (corset, collar, cuffs...).

 

And yes, with the recent versions you can be a female slaver. All you have to do is to threaten to bash the slaver's teeth in and then kill them in horrible ways. The slaver will then answer by: "oh gosh, please don't!", and leave you alone. (I believe they are British.)

Playing the 2.0 version and it's awesome and stable...v1 was unstable for me and was never able to complete it...do keep the cheats in the beta as well because I can see things getting boring on replays, unless you add randomization/player choices in the mix.

 

Does the mod actually use the follower? Right now Jenassa's just following me around, she's been referred to only at the very beginning.

 

Also, for some reason while the FunnyBizness anims work for Ivana, the player always ends up defaulting to Zap animations. Any reason why?

I mean, the buffer quests are there so Zaid and his organization gain enough resources to tackle the next hold. But it never felt as such during my play through. It was always the same girl needing punishment in the dungeon, the same girl getting crucified, the same tasks that didn't really made sense to me.

 

I went through this mod as a slaver until the enslavement of winterhold, it took me 100 hours as I did on the side exploring to remain sane. During that time, I have not seen another NPC enslaving female in the holds nor any deep changes beside the enforcer mechanic.

 

Slaverun reloaded is a good mod, however it has some caveat in its gameplay, here and there, that makes it not perfect and sometimes annoying. As of now, I'm not sure if I want to replay it. If I do, it would be as a slave. But if my character remain the only slave around, I'll have to remove several mechanics from this mod, because getting stop 4 times between the entrance of whiterun and the castle will quickly enrage me (that happened with my follower-slave, yet other npc-slaves were around too).

Is it the travel time or loading time what you don't want or is it for immersion/logic reasons?

 

For the first I could you teleport automatically to the right location, but I wanted Dragonsreach to be the center, especialy in version 2 there will be a lot more happing there.

 

Long ago when I created the first questhub with task for Zaid and that for Mundus I wanted create other questhubs with repeatable tasks in other cities, but I dropped that idea.

That guy in Riften I needed to create as a copy of Maul cause he didn't talk with you if you hadn't done the first thief quest and I didn't want to interfere with that.

 

So I will think about that.

So, you should have the city quest "Bring slavery to Windhelm' AND when Ulfric sends you to the dark quarters you should have a subquest called "Dark quarters racism"

 

 

The cityquest has no quest target and will procedd when you have done the subquest. The Subquest has questtargests and should send you (after speaking with the Jarl) to Ambarys, the innkeeper in the Gnisis Cornerclub

 

Grey quarters named after the grey skin of the darkelfs living there

 

 

 I reloaded the initial convo with Ulfric and my character and the same issue repeats. The "Dark Quarters Racism" doesn't appear on her quest list. And no quest marker. These screens show standard dialogue from the Gnisis Barkeeper and the actual quests showing.

 And yes, that is Buffy the Vampire Slayer, my creation. The preset is in the works for Nexus and here. And don't ask how Buffy ended up in Skyrim that's a no brainer. That girl has lots of powerful enemies who know magic. Alternate universe teleportation of non-consensual targets by ritual. There. Any questions?

 Oh, and why would Buffy promote slavery....I guess that's one question. Look closely at her slave collar. It's different than most. There's a mod dedicated to that collar. "Pet Collar" does not allow her to wear armor. It does so many things, that she is not really herself until that thing comes off.

 

Maybe she just needs a Snickers Bar...

 

 BTW - Kenjoka - thanks for the personal touch on this issue. I love your mod !!!!!!!!!!! You must take so much heat for this mod. Close minded people friend. Ok? Your mod provokes people because they can't take a joke. Also because they don't even know the mod goes different directions, allowing different outcomes. By definition slavery is not a choice, but fantasy does have choices. You have given us many, many choices, in this mod.

 The size of the mod requires a team of people to moderate responses and fix things. The engine Bethesda uses for Skyrim creates it's own issues. Your time is valuable. Thanks.

It seems the subquest slv_windhelmracism doesnt't start for you. I will have a look at the code

and as a comment as you seem to play the 2.0 alpha version. This version is only tested and mainly changed until Dawnstar , only for the slave questline. Everything else may be not playable, especialy the end quest as I added quest stubs for Raven Rock but didn't changed everything around that.

At the moment the follower for the slave questline is only used in the beginning.

 

For the animations it may just be luck, sometimes I wonder that I get 90% FunnyBizness animations.

I actually second this as well. It's more from a logic perspective for me, perhaps he Zaid could have a negotiator and you accompany him (like brutus for the orcs). I did always find it weird that the slave was doing the negotiating for the entire organization though I understand this from a gameplay perspective.

 

On a note for Riften,

 

do we have a way to undercut maven? She's the reason I hated the thiefs  guild quests and I'd love a way to put her in her place

That guy in Riften I needed to create as a copy of Maul cause he didn't talk with you if you hadn't done the first thief quest and I didn't want to interfere with that.

Actually, it's rather for logical and practical reasons and also to keep the player interested. Having a center of operation is fine, but every single agent do not need to come back to the boss to relate everything that is going on. The boss assign you, the player, a task: enslave that city and here are some hints. And then the player do just that and do not return until that city is under the organization's heel. And that means that once the organization is installed in a major city, there has to be a local representative to handle the day-to-day bullshit. Think of it as "governors", while zaid is the president.

 

The riften questline killed me, the drug was somewhat interesting before I had to go back to whiterun twice for nothing. A capital do not handle everything, they delegate the local decisions to the local people so the ruler can focus on the hole land. Who is maintaining slavery in riften after Maven got brainwashed? That dude we met once and know nothing about? How is that guy reliable and not a fuck up? He betrayed his own boss! Fuck that guy, kill him and put a henchmen in his place.

 

The necessity to go back to whiterun to get radiant quests that simply allow you, as a slaver, to do your basic job (enslave people, make sure they stay naked, etc) is annoying. It would be beneficial to put those quests as permanent goals, while zaid gives you real tasks like "catch an escaped slave" and point you toward a cave or a place in the wild. Or a slave owner is angry because his slave isn't doing her chores, so zaid send you to "correct" the slave at the owner's house (ie. bdsm play). In short, small in-theme quests that gives the player some short stories instead of generic "gather 5 golden leafs for the shaman"-type quests. Of course the difference in content means more work and more writing, which can feel somewhat challenging.

 

From my point of view, slaverun should focus on one narration at a time. Be it playing a slave or a slaver or a free woman. That way you can perfect that gameplay so that the mod provides the best experience possible. Once one narration is done, start the next one independent of the first. Keep in mind that I am referring to the story and not the game mechanic. Skyrim is a very big place, and you're trying to modify everything. If you scatter your efforts everywhere, you won't get far or you will but with half-done ideas.

 

As it is, some of the enslaving the city quests are fine and other needs redoing. For example, in riften instead of going back in shame to Zaid, the player could sneak in Maven's manor to try to glean some information as to what would make her consider the offer a bit more seriously. Eventually, the player will find an item of some sort (journal?) with that data. We know that Maven wants to get rid of her competition, and we could fool her into a partnership that will eventually lead to her brainwashing.

 

On the other hand, the quest line for winterhold is just brilliant, I have nothing to add to the genius that went there.

A "Local Representative" could be sent with you to perform those interactions with and who could send you back with a "report card" to Zaid after the job is done.

travel time isn't such a big deal - I hardly play mods these days "for real" anyway, using coc-commands often to teleport quickly to places, hoping it doesn't break anything. Yet it still takes at least some time and yeah, I think it is more an immersion thing for me...going back to Zaid just to tell him "she said no" and then return? From storytelling-perspective that's a bit clunky :shy:

 

Some kind of represantative of the slavers in the major cities that keep an eye on you and relate messages would imho be great for immersion, and as I said also give some opportunities for small (repeatable?) side-quests, which could even somehow related to the city (Windhelm: An Argonian Gangbang, some sick sex-daedric dunmer stuff? Markath: The debauched Silverblood-family needs a little toy for some exclusive business party? The Dibellans... etc) - Though I don't think it is necessary to have the same amount of side-quests in every major city, turning everything into a huge questhub like Whiterun - but some extra-pieces here and there?

 

Having these little side-distractions in between the major city-quests while you wait for answer from Zaid would also help to give more of an illusion of passing time?

Hey guys. I am having issues at the starting of the main quest. After i am done talking with the merchant in riverwood i am not able to access the area just outside the whiterun main gate. I am able to fast travel directly inside whiterun or at dragonsreach and report to the jarl, but after that when i try to meet the slavery agent by going outside the main gate there is an infinte loading screen or if i try to fast travel to whiterun stables then also same problem (i have waited for more than 15 mins, its not an issue of slow loading). If i try to approch that place on foot then the game freezes as soon as i get near whiterun stables. Also there is no coc code for just outside the main door( coc whiterunstables teleports you into a house and if i try getting out then same, infinite loading screen). I have tried with and without all the soft dependencies. And I am pretty sure the problem is due to slaverun, coz it was working fine before installing it and i didnt installed any other mod along with it. Is there a mod that is causing a conflict at that particular cell (outside the main gate). Sorry if this querry has been asked and resolved before, couldnt find it. Thanks for helping in advance!!

You'll need to provide more data, like papyrus log and loadorder, otherwise we can't help you.

You'll need to provide more data, like papyrus log and loadorder, otherwise we can't help you.

 

I am attaching my load order and d log files. log1 file shows this "ERROR: Unable to bind script FXcameraAttachCloudScript to  (64008E81) because their base types do not match"(last entry before CTD) when i try to save or quicksave(i have disabled autosave). log2 file shows this"error: Unbound native function "c_SetTarget" called", this is the error it shows when it freezes or infinite loading the problem only arises once i have visited the riverwood trader and return to whiterun. I have disabled all the soft dependencies, but enabling them is not making a difference what so ever.

I had this or a very similar Problem here I managed to fix it, http://www.loverslab.com/topic/21484-devious-devices-integration-v32-09192016/page-380#entry1643355 but it was trouble, I hope you find and easier solution.

 

   My problem was the arms falling out of the binder with no hands though, but I had to jump through the uninstall, and re-install hoops to get it right.

slaverun has no devices on its own,

 

so your problem is probably the devious installation

you can test that by using the additem mod, get the armbinder from devious integration or expansion and equip it

 

I am using cbbe hdt bodyslide, and for my bodyslide definition the armbinder look weired, so I generate the armbinder only with some default cbbe slim profile

 

Tried on a new save after updating but can't talk to anyone about rumors after talking to jarl.

as you are at stage 2 of about 1000 stages in front of you :-)

 

I recommend uninstall the mod, make a clean save (use save game cleaner), download the newest 1.x version, install and try again...

 

Stuck in a quest where I have to "ask alvor what he thinks now" but he is stuck and I can't to him as it says "this person is busy"

"this person is busy" means the npc is still playing in a scene where the pc has been kicked out,

one reason may be, you didn't install the zaz 6.11 patch correct,

you may also reload and try again that scene or skip it (mcm menu, problems tab)

 

@Kenjoka - I think you may find the Devious High Heel Training (https://www.loverslab.com/topic/56627-devious-high-heel-training-yps-immersive-fashion/) modification something to checkout for inclusion in a future update of your choosing (as a soft dependency).

you can test that by using the additem mod, get the armbinder from devious integration or expansion and equip it

 

I am using cbbe hdt bodyslide, and for my bodyslide definition the armbinder look weired, so I generate the armbinder only with some default cbbe slim profile

 

Tried on a new save after updating but can't talk to anyone about rumors after talking to jarl.

as you are at stage 2 of about 1000 stages in front of you :-)

 

I recommend uninstall the mod, make a clean save (use save game cleaner), download the newest 1.x version, install and try again...

 

Stuck in a quest where I have to "ask alvor what he thinks now" but he is stuck and I can't to him as it says "this person is busy"

"this person is busy" means the npc is still playing in a scene where the pc has been kicked out,

one reason may be, you didn't install the zaz 6.11 patch correct,

you may also reload and try again that scene or skip it (mcm menu, problems tab)

 

@Kenjoka - I think you may find the Devious High Heel Training (https://www.loverslab.com/topic/56627-devious-high-heel-training-yps-immersive-fashion/) modification something to checkout for inclusion in a future update of your choosing (as a soft dependency).

I have an issue with Moth in Morthal. The quest wont continue after talking to him about his sister. Am i missing something?

Yes sorry Moth in Markarth. I am at the point of asking about his sister. stage 500

(UPDATE) Ok so i needed to bring a slave with me to get the additional dialogue. Quest was not clear on that.

 

Thanks for the help your sqv helped I noticed it said no slave follower.

Great mod playing the non beta 1.02.  Some suggestions after you've been enslaved and you get to the point of making the 300 for the slavemaster. After that you can just leave the city and don't really have to go back.  I would suggest that a percentage chance of somone seeing your tattoos or collar knocks the player out and sends them back to Whiterun forced to continue the quest as a suggestion.  Thanks for a great mod
