Hey I got the dog training quest to go into Riften and go into someones house. The house is locked so I unlock it and go into it. When I meet the client who is waiting with the dog, She says I need to leave. The house in question is Bolli's house in Riften and the client in Some Dark Elf woman.

The idle associated with those infos is not a dancing idle. I'm going through the mod and getting rid of all of them because that is not what is supposed to happen.

 

 

 

Out of curiosity I wonder what common mod replaces that idle or otherwise breaks it to point to the silly booty dance.  I've noticed a few other mods try to call this idle at very inappropriate times (off the top of my head I think Arissa follower did it randomly while having a serious talk).  Obviously I'm not the only one that unexpectedly has a mod that causes this.

 

Do you happen to know what file this animation is linked to?

The idle is called "CiceroAgitated" (I think). As you may recall, he does this when he discovers the player in the Night Mother's coffin. It's a vanilla idle. So that's why this problem is so damned frustrating.

 

I have very few mods installed. Skeleton, sexlab, 7base, "foundation" mods basically. I'd love to know what the offending mod is. I mean, who's the nincompoop who nuked a vanilla idle?!

Alright. I am now at the part where the mansion has a bear. When go to Thaena to do a private show with a companion, the quest log does not update, no pop up telling me to talk to the companion. Instead I go to Thaena for another job as if I did not talk to her for another job as the dialogue option about the business is still there.

 

When I want to do a party with men, when I say "Surprise me" the quest log does not update as above. When I decide to invite the guests for the men's party, a popup says 8 out of 4 guests invited. So I look into the journal and says 0 out 4 guest invited. I invite the guests, turn in the quest to Thaena and the quest completes without transitioning to the next objective, the actual party.. I have not tested the woman's party yet. I've done this on multiple restarts. The normal parties and the regular private shows work tohugh. I have had this problem with the original Animal mansion and posted there.

The first problem (private show for companion) is a known one. MBH accidentally left an impossible condition in the mod from testing. In the next version this bug is fixed.

 

That a party does not start at all is likely linked to the first problem namely a companion gets chosen and the condition for that quest update is not possible.

The second problem of the '8 of 4 party guests' also is known. It's a visual bug in the popup on screen when you had a party before. Not the same day and not the same party any party suffices.

thetiger39 - To the above I'd just add that you can start a Companions private show with startquest na_ps_werewolf. (Not very satisfying, I know.) And thanks for the bug rep.

 

 

Re Nivenor - I think I can fix that (hiding behind a locked door when you're trying to do a quest). It's not specific to Nivenor, though, it's a universal bug.

The companion private show isn't starting for me either. As well as the Jarl show, which isn't starting either.

 

I have the same problem with the male and female parties. When I have the animals up to the sabrecat, the quests are not starting when I choose 'surprise me'. When inviting the guests yourself the quests just stops after you wait to 9pm.

Later on, when I have the spider 'unlocked' the female and male party quests work (not sure if it works before that). However, Thaena walks to the basement into the party room instead of just waiting in the lobby like the normal party.

 

One small suggestion: It would be awesome if the animals were interact-able outside quests. I'm also hoping you will make a follow up quest with Thaena after getting the troll (if that's possible).

 

Loving the progress so far, keep up the good work!

Someone on the original sky_mds thread came up with the Idea of a high status/high nobility show at the manison. Basically Thaena invites a high ranking noble or a person of high status to watch a show. Some celebrities could be:

 

Tullius or Ulfric- They come to the mansion by invitation to watch you perform. If you are of their respective faction, they will treat you well and if you are of the opposing faction, well...

 

Black Briar Family- Maven and her daughter comes to the mansion. Maven bosses her daughter, Ingun to get down and dirty with the animals with you. At the end of the show, Ingun comes to you with an Idea, to get revenge on her mother. You can agree, and you can command one of the animals to attack Maven and all hell breaks loose.

 

Isran or the Volkihar clan: The respective faction leaders are invited to the mansion bring their animals such as huskies/deathhounds to watch them fuck you. Again if you are of the respective faction,  you will be treated well. And If not, well...

Well, I actually stumbled across the culprit.  It is a bug in Amazing Follower Tweaks (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15524/?) as it does a bunch of adjustments to Cicero to get him working as a follower.  Honestly I think when I did the Dark Brotherhood quests I saw him booty-dance when he caught me in the coffin, and ignored it at the time as I never saw it again.  The animation is still there (I never ran FNIS when I tested without AFT) but somehow that idle is being linked to what I imagine is one of his dance idles.

 

Long story short, AFT seems to cause AM and other mods trying to link to the Cicero agitated idle to link to one of his dance idles instead.  I won't stop using AFT just for that, but probably try to fix it in TES5edit (AFT seems to be overwriting a bunch of Cicero fixes from the unofficial patches... and there are a lot as it seems Bethesda left him a buggy mess as a follower).  Lots of people use AFT however, so it may be best to just strip out use of that idle.

There will be. Actually, there should have been. You may have noticed that the Troll quest was a bit ... perfunctory.

Uhh, at the beginning of this mod, I told Thaena that I hated insects. Later I got the spider quest.

 

You'll be fine. Just go do the quest. :cool:

The two creatures are handled separately so you can allow one and not the other during their respective quests.

ok i seen Sexlab 1.60 is now available.  :cool:

 

But is it stable?  :-/

 

And from anyone Modding do i still wait? I am scared to swap to 1.60 in case most of my MODS dont work :( and it seems that a lot of things that came with 1.59 automatically are now not with 1.60 and have to be manually installed... aaagh so confusing :(  :s

 

Should i leave my 1.59 alone?

 

At the moment, via MO, my Skyrim is functioning and working fine and i am terrified of screwing it up by installing 1.60.

 

ADvise please!.. I know this might not seem relevant to AMP but i ask here because AMP is my favorite installed MOD and i dont wanna mess it up.  :(

As long as the mods you are using are not yet updated to 1.60 leave it be.

Theoretically most mods should™ work with 1.60 also but if you use a 1.59 mod with 1.60 expect bugs and issues.

As far as I understand many things have changed in 1.60.

 

Since you are using Mod Organizer you simply can clone your profile and only swap 1.59c with 1.60 for a test. The things that are not part of 1.60 by default anymore are things that are optional to begin with. That's what I am doing and I have no problems yet. But as said that's not a guarantee.

Take the creature animations for example. In 1.59 times many players did not care about creatures in the first place.

Or the nudesuit people (an option for having nude N/PC in sex and underwear when normal) also is highly optional.
