not asking for dialogue option to choose a single animation but a group of animations tagged as standing. kinda like this mod does where you can choose laying down, doggy style and what not.

I get what you mean. I'll see about adding that option, there should be enough standing animations to make it worthwhile.

I am having an issue where none of the events even happen even at 100.

Please check your papyrus log if you're in doubt whether it works. The log may contain errors if there is a problem, or it may outright tell you the reason, for example because there are no lovers nearby.

All SLEN related messages start with "SLEN" so they're easy to recognize, Typical output for a pleasant surprise event for example would be something like this:

[06/10/2016 - 06:26:01AM] SLEN Main - Info: Rolling for Pleasant Surprise event, chance = 100 (0-99 roll has to be lower)

[06/10/2016 - 06:26:01AM] SLEN Main - Info: Roll = 82, checking for nearby lovers

[06/10/2016 - 06:26:16AM] SLEN Scanner - Info: changing scanning distance to 1440

[06/10/2016 - 06:26:16AM] SLEN Scanner - Info: processing references filtered...

[06/10/2016 - 06:26:16AM] SLEN Scanner - Info: found 1 lovers

[06/10/2016 - 06:26:16AM] SLEN Scanner - Info: found 0 allies

[06/10/2016 - 06:26:16AM] SLEN Scanner - Info: found 0 confidants

[06/10/2016 - 06:26:16AM] SLEN Main - Info: At least 1 lover is nearby, generating Pleasant Surprise event

[06/10/2016 - 06:26:16AM] SLEN Main - Info: forcing alias 0 to Amalee

[06/10/2016 - 06:26:19AM] SLEN Main - Info: Starting random sex with 2 actors

The bold one is the important one, it always comes right after the scan results, and if there is a reason why the event doesn't happen, it will tell you on that line why not.

any hope in the near future to get options for standing sex animations?

If i understood correctly.

There are standing sex animations.

You can find them in Sexlab Animation Loader Packs.

indeed but there is no dialogue option to choose just standing sex animations via this mod.

I dont believe there has been a mod that allows you to choose exactly what sex animation you want.

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/42286-sexlab-position-selector-by-nen-control-yourself/

:o guess i was wrong, i will check it out myself too xD

Check out Sexlab Tools as well, which lets you select animations by a pre-defined list of tags (not based on what animations you have) but also has a way to pick which animation off those tags you want.

BeamerM. - I'm so glad to see you again. :)  I'm glad to hear your health is better too.  Thank you for the update.

There are no incompatibilities, right? When I first downloaded and enabled this, everything seemed fine. I was in Whiterun, could initiate dialogue and a sex scene, but when i travelled outside, I had CTDs after a while. I also tried fast travelling to other areas and consistently received CTDs every single time, after a few seconds. When I uninstalled it, things were fine again. Any ideas what the cause might have been and how I could fix it? Could it be a memory issue?

SLEN doesn't do anything when you're traveling or walking around, so it seems unlikely it was the cause of your CTDs. As long as you're not using the dialogues or magic effects or a SLEN event is starting up, it has no effect on your game. There is no polling and no timed events of any kind, so nothing SLEN related runs during normal game play.

I can confirm Beamer's argument. I'm using SLEN with almost every female NPC in every city. I also fast travel and I haven't had a single crash in my game. I let the LOOT place the mod as it finds right. Your problem lays somewhere else.

So I tried it again, but same thing happened. It was fine at first, but then the game kept crashing. It got so bad I could not even load a save anymore (because it insta-crashed when loading). After uninstallation everything is back to normal. For some reason, it doesn't work. I guess I just have to live without it.

Have you checked that you have all requirements? Updated?

Requires: SexLab, SexLab Aroused [Redux], SKSE, SkyUI MCM, Fuz Ro D-oh

I checked all of them and it turned out I missed an update on Sexlab that came out recently. I am still on 1.61b, but I do have the most recent version of SLEN. Guess I have to update and try again. All of the other requirements are up to date.

Your symptoms sound like they can't be related to either SexLab or SLEN, as neither of them should have any active scripts during regular play. Sounds more like you have some corruption going on, or some really badly behaving script. Check your papyrus log for repeated errors or overly active scripts. Clean your savegame if you have recently uninstalled mods. If it's file corruption letting steam verify your local cache can fix it, but it will replace your cleaned masters with the originals, so you'll have to re-clean them after you do that. I can confirm that the current version of SLEN works fine on 1.60.2 and on the latest version, but due to my break I skipped 1.61b.

Latest version of Sexlab Framework is 1.62

I'm using it without issue on Sexlab 1.62 version. You may just have hit the mod limits your computer can take with scripted mods.

There is a mod limit with scripted mods in Skyrim?

First time i heard about it, care to elaborate if you can? Or point me to a link :P

The limit is just how good your computer is, how many script heavy mods you have installed, plus how many of them are mods that like to fight with other mods.

Get things wrong and your computer screams  for mercy, curls up in the fetal position and whimpers......... :P

The strange thing is that it doesn't seem to be related and yet the problems occur only with SLEN installed. I use a save cleaner tool to remove orphaned scripts from my save every time I uninstall a mod, if this is what you mean by cleaning a save (since there does seem to be some debate on what cleaning a save actually is). Other than that, I always create new saves, I never overwrite existing ones. Unfortunately I did not have the Papyrus logs enabled until now. I will make sure they are created and then update Sexlab and reinstall SLEN later this day. Perhaps this will provide any insights.

Shouldn't I have problems all the time if there is any file corruption?

Not necessarily. If you have something like a corrupted or missing nif (3D mesh) or sound file, it will only cause a problem when that asset is loaded, just like a problematic script will only cause a problem when it runs.

You can try loading up your full load order in TES5Edit and see if there are any conflicting records, but since SLEN contains almost no vanilla records it's unlikely you will find anything there.

When you have a papyrus log of a session that CTDed, feel free to attach it to a post here (and include your load order) and I'll have a look to see if I can find anything.

I just had a CTD. Log and load order are attached.

Edit: Beyond that point, it was just a mess. I have attached a couple more logs. 01 to 03 are failed attempts to load the autosave where the first CTD happened. The other ones were earlier saves which didn't crash instantly, but soon after. I also checked TES5Edit, it loads my list just fine, no error messages.

Edit 2: As always, simply disabling SLEN is enough to make things work again.

Have you tried using SLEN on a new game at all? Because this savegame seems to be a bit of a mess. You have over 500 error and warning lines just from starting up, if this was a savegame of mine I'd bring it to the vet and end its suffering. In any case it does not contain any SLEN related messages.

I would suggest starting up a new game and then checking your logs and disabling any mod that throws more than a few "Cannot open store for class" warnings (which can be benign and related to dynamic contents based on what DLCs and other mods you have). All these "warning: property cannot be initialized" messages are the result of a mod that has undergone huge interface changes, which is an excellent way to mess up savegames, and essentially the one thing that you should never do with a script (changing function implementations and adding properties and functions is fine, however removing properties or functions or changing their parameters should be avoided at all cost). Check if there are updates or patches for these mods, some may have been updated in the meantime. Others may simply be from bygone times when the intricacies of updating scripted mods were less well known and you might be better off searching for a replacement.

The one thing I did see that strikes me as very likely to cause CTDs are the references to missing HDT High Heels scripts. If you have any mods installed that depend on this and it is corrupted or has missing files, they're very likely to cause a CTD as soon as you come near any high-heeled boots. I do believe you have several mods installed that need this (like Captured Dreams, Sotteta Armor). Unless you are certain you have installed non-HDTHighHeels versions of all of these, try re-installing HDT High Heels System and see if that improves things.

I thought I should try it on a new save, but haven't so far. I have been messing around with mods a lot in this save. I really don't want to give it up at this point, however, since I have progressed far and have never actually completed the game yet. I started a new game to see how the log looks like. There are a lot of warnings, but I have no idea to what mods these belong. There are a lot of GreedBlade scripts, whatever that is. Perhaps I could find out what mods cause problems by disabling all of them and re-enabling them one by one (starting a new game every single time). But since I want to keep my current save and might mess up completely if I do something wrong, I suppose I should just stick to the mods I am currently using.

I have uninstalled HDT High Heels because I felt it wasn't working properly. I am pretty confident I have uninstalled all dependent mods as well. In fact, the game crashed on startup when such mods where still enabled. Sotteta has a non-HH version and Captured Dreams doesn't seem to require it, at least I can't find it listed as a requirement on the mod page.

And just in case I sound ungrateful or anything: I appreciate the help. I have attached the log of the new game I mentioned, if you are willing to take a look. Just to be clear: That session didn't crash, I quit manually.

You can typically find the mod by looking at the hexadecimal numbers in the error message. For example:

warning: Property MBI_Greedblade on script MBI_RemoveGreedblade attached to  (0C0FAF6F) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property

This comes from mod 0C in your load order (0C hexadecimal, the first 2 digits = 12 decimal), with Skyrim.esm being mod 00. So that's the MolagBalsInferno.esm mod which matches the MBI_ prefix of the scripts.

Note that script errors and warnings will still not make you CTD just like that, it's really not as easy to cause a CTD with a papyrus script as many people think :) Getting a completely error free log is also virtually impossible as even an unmodded game will spit out a number of them. If you started a new game with this load order you might never encounter any problems. With changes and upgrades during games though, cruft tends to pile up in your save game and unexpected stuff can start happening. I always take great care in making sure SLEN can always be upgraded easily and without causing any problems, but that isn't always the case with every mod out there.

You can easily sink a couple of days into problems like these and come up empty handed. It depends a bit on how often you start a new game, but if it works fine on new games and you can't get it to work on the old one within a few hours, it might just be wiser to throw in the towel and only use SLEN on new games while playing out the old one without it. The only recommendation I have really left is to try to put SLEN higher in the load order, if you hadn't tried that yet. It should be OK to put it all the way at the top of your esps. SLEN adds a couple of alchemy ingredients and cooking recipes, so there might be some unexpected interaction with "Complete Alchemy & Cooking Overhaul.esp" there. Try putting SLEN at least above that in the load order and see if it changes things.
