pewp43 Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 For some odd reason, the MCM menu just refuses to show up for me. I did a search in console, and three quests with "sexlife" in it popped up. I've waited a long time, and restarted my game many times. I'm trying this game on a brand new game, so I am completely at a lost. I can't help with MCM not appearing as I have never had this problem with any single mod. But a silly idea came to my mind - try a new game without SexLife, then install the mod on existing game (best after Helgen or Abandoned Prison if you use alternative start). BTW, which version of SLSL did you install? Assuming you mean Sexlab when you said SLSL, I have version v1.60.2 installed. I'll try that fix you mentioned, hoping for the best. I've been running into the Milk Mod Economy MCM menu not showing up. Assuming you have SKYUI in your load order, Jaxonz MCM Kicker sometimes does the trick. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57795/? But even that doesn't always work. I don't believe that's optimizations only. Originally, 135 was to be installed over 134. Haven't looked and things lately, but it was initially a lot smaller than 134.

I never tried this out because originally I thought it only made NPC's approach each other, and I'm always afraid to leave a cell while NPC's are fucking. Do people approach the player for sex in this too? Will I randomly get hit on? Can I mark myself as a submissive or a victim or something? I'm very curious about exactly what this mod does then.

I'm the same way about changing cells and sex scenes because I've had glitches from doing that. What happens is that someone is chosen (I'm not sure if it's random or just whoever has the highest arousal) and they approach someone else. Which feels random. Anyone that's not tagged as Excluded can be approached. You can mark yourself as both submissive and victim, which would make you more likely to be approached for sex and raped. Tagging submissive does that and tagging victim makes it so they can't deny sex. You can also toggle Rapists Always Rape on if you want that as well. This mod is basically a more immersive random sex mod. People will turn each other down based on gender preference, and varying factors that are able to be toggled.Faithful people will only want to sleep with people they're in relationships with, or if single will want to be in a relationship before sleeping with someone. It works well with SexLab EagerNPCs to assign gender and sexual preference. Your character can be approached, but I don't think you can approach. It's why it's best used in conjunction with other mods.

Not to worry though you can manually edit the characters when in game. for 7 characters that isnt too much trouble

However, it would be useful to make a .json file for the followers in case you start a new game (not to repeat the ingame setting). But the file must be named like "themergedfile.esp.json". The best (only?) way to get the reference id's is to open the mod in the CK.

So i take it a json file just needs to be created and named to match my merged plugin name. or is this a suggestion for mod improvement? I will take a look at the mcm menu again to understand about manual edit in game. I will need to target one in my crosshair for edit right? Well, it's not necessary to create .json files, it that's what you mean. They are just for your convenience. And yes, you'll have to target the NPC with the crosshair.

xijie Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Sexlife is an NPC sex mod that also causes NPC-PC sex. That means it only causes PC sex under the same circumstances as NPC-NPC sex - specifically, when one NPC wants sex, targets another who cannot or will not refuse - and that other is 'You,' the special invisible NPC added by the mod. (I am too lazy to look at the scripting, so I don't know whether the other direction occurs. In fact, I'm not sure if 'You' gets an arousal value, though I'd hope that it mirrors the player's.) In short, are you spending time around other NPCs who have an Arousal over 40? Are the dialogues triggering? If they are, that'll take more troubleshooting from someone who knows the mod better than I do.

You're a modder, shouldn't be too hard to adjust it to copy only the face. Edit: Looked at the ESP it has a short script, a very short script. It appears the in-game version of the mod is all done deep inside SKSE because there's a single script with only two lines of actual code.
