Hmm.  Using the latest version, I can't get the MCM menu to appear.

Just started this and downloaded 1.3.5. I see everybody talking about uploading from 7 to 13. I installed 1.3.5 but I have not seen it in the menu section. Are there parts or updates somewhere else?

Install 1.3.4 first, then overwrite with 1.3.5 which is .esp only.

...unless it's something else... :s

Were it so easy.

I'll figure it out eventually.  I'm good at breaking things in exotic ways.

OK, that was my first thought, as people have been frequently making that mistake. I think there may be some hint for you if you search the thread - I remember that some people reported problems with MCM menu (both with fresh instalment of the plugin and with upgrading). I haven't had the problem myself so I can't give you any advice based on my own experience, sorry.

Maybe this will help?:

I having a bit of a problem on a new install of Skyrim. It's not showing up in my MCM menu at all. Not even with the reset option MCM menu option. Know of what I can do to troubleshoot this problem?

The initializing process of SLSL (Sexlife) is a bit heavy.
#Have you checked/ followed the notice on 'Installation on a new game'?

For my case, even if I followed the notice above, it usually took 3 to 5 minutes
for MCM menu to show up at the first time (as for SLSL 1.3.4).
And it is important NOT to touch/ tweak ANYTHING on MCM menu (especially hot-key setting) during this process.

The length of this initializing process is largely determined by the performance of your system
(Mine is fairly weak PC, though).

The following two measures can be helpful to you, however:Also, if not 'officially' recommended, with Sexlab 1.60+ & SkyUI 5.0+,
I assume that now you can start a new game (even from Helgen directly) with SLSL installed,
almost without any trouble of MCM registration.

I have tested Sexlab 1.60 (hotfix1), SkyUI 5.1, and SLSL 1.3.5 (together with 80+ mods installed),
and started a new game (default Helgen Cart start),
and in 5/5 times MCM menu of SLSL appeared normally during the first cart scene.

The mod is mainly NPC-NPC, but due lot of requests also PC can be interacted by NPC. Due the internal mechanics, the PC is not able to respond anything, but some approaches will result into sex acts depending the settings.

So, if an aroused rapist is nearby, he'll just walk up to the player and go 'sup' >raep?

Also the racist category seems a bit odd/incomplete. For example, a racist rapist might target only other races for rapings (and only have consentual sex with his own race). But, it seems this is precluded by the restrictions of the racist tag, and instead a racist rapist would only rape members of his own race (which seems weird).

Is there any spectrum when it comes to the racist tag? For example, a racist imperial might be fine with a nord/breton/redguard, but not an elf or beast race.

Is it just me or is "debug to screen" on by default.

If so, Maybe in next version change that, now I have to diable it each time I start a new save(belive me , I make a lot of new saves).

So, some NPCs are rejecting each other even though I have them set as victims. They keep saying "honey I have a headache". I dunno what's wrong.

Idk if anyone else posted this yet, but won't the best fix for the invisible "You" actor be to let us choose the dialog with NPCs that interact with us instead of creating an invisible actor to do it for us, sometimes not giving us the result that we wanted? If an NPC approaches us, we can choose whether or not to engage in sex, possibly even add choices to positions or the NPC can request a position.

Just my two cents on this, I appreciate the work you put into it.

I've noticed this happening to my character when I had the "victim" option on (because I didn't want him to refuse sex.) However, the opposite seemed to happen, and he would refuse everyone until I turned victim off.

Yes, the "You" issue and preferable dialogue option for the player was addressed many times. It's up to Dooge if anything is done about it. I may be repeating myself, but in fact this mod wasn't supposed to deal with the PC. This feature was added because users wanted it. SLSL is actually about NPC-NPC interactions, it's it purpose, main focus, main idea. Anything else are just additions, which I personally don't care much. I am using many SL mods that complement one another.

As for the "victims" and "rejecting" stuff. If a victim is refusing to have sex, the one who proposes sex must be a rapist in order that anything could happen. That's at least how it works in my game. I don't know others' settings and config, so I may be wrong. :dodgy:

any help? in the corner it says you see someone hitting on someone, but all that happens is the walk up to each other and do nothing?

Do u have Sexlab.........

And installed it(plus in MCM)

Because they should be talking..

Then there is a chance there will be ' fun' / rape.

Can't get this mod to function, all I'm getting is this error: sexlife: onupdate start work function

Played with the mod active for over 5 hours, yet no sign of the mod actually doing anything.

I've got the latest Skyrim patches+latest SL framework+latest SLSL version+latest SKSE version+latest MCM version.

Any ideas?

Is it possible to have a patch or version that disables that "You" invisible chicken NPC?

And I don't just mean making it so NPCs won't approach it.  I mean as in the same thing that happens to a normal NPC when I use the "disable" or "MarkforDelete" console command on them.  Something I can't do to the "You" chicken because I can't select him because he's invisible... and just putting in the RefID after the command does not work.

The reason I want this invisible "You" chicken gone is for two reasons:

1)  I already have SexLab Approach to handle NPC hitting on my character(s).

2)  "You" gets in the damn way constantly.  It maybe invisible but it isn't incorporeal, so it can and has blocked my path many times.

Because that's not how that command works. Type into the console:

prid <refid>

disable

You've installed the 1.3.5. version, haven't you? If so, install 1.3.4 first, then overwrite it with 1.3.5.

I was checking all my plugins for error with TES5Edit. Look what I found:

attachicon.gifSLSL Error.PNG

attachicon.gifSLSL Error 1.PNG

attachicon.gifSLSL Error 2.PNG

Yeah, got them, too. But my game (and SLSL as well) work fine.

However, Dooge should perhaps comment on that.

And you can find the RefID a few pages back in this thread (in case you don't have the CK).

Finally got mine working again, got the MCM menu and everything.  Unfortunately, can't seem to have any sex acts trigger by this mod--the very few times I was notified of an approach, it never went anywhere, even when I deliberately set things up to have something happen.  Maybe there was a mistake in the coding somewhere?

Same. Though, approaches seem to work well enough, but not a single act in several hours of watching/waiting in a test area with all npcs set to victim and/or rapist and all set to bisexual, arousal set to minimum (20) etc. It's a very neat idea, will continue to follow in case someone figures out a fix for whatever is wrong for those of us who can't get it to work.

So are the NPC attributes that people have contributed to inside the mod? Or is that to come?

Also, excellent mod (when I don't break it) - thank you :)

The attributes are in .json files which you can find in SKSE\Plugins\StorageUtilData folder (the ones named "adcSLSL modname.esp.json"). The way the attribute system works is described in the .pdf manual included in the mod archive and in this thread (where you can also find some presets). I've also offered my presets, which I did for some popular NPC and follower mods, if you just give me some hints about the way you want the characters to be set up.

Your problem with the mod may be caused by so many factors that instead of guessing where the culprits are, maybe I'll just give you an example of a configuration that works for me (in the exact way I want it to).

First, my adcSexLife.esp is close to the bottom of my load order, even below the bashed patch (I'm not sure if it matters, though). My load order is heavy, close to the limit with lots of scripted mods, NPC and follower mods, some of them merged.

My mod configuration goes like this:

Initialize actors [x]

Initialize actors sexuality [x]

Observations on screen [x]

Poll frequency <>every 120 seconds

Arousal threshold <>30

Sizequeen preference threshold <>cocksize 5

Enabled: Cheating, Cuckolding, Prostitution, Rape (Rapist always play the role as aggressor)

Bestiality, Incest, Necrophilia, S&M disabled (either because it's not my thing or I have other mods for that))

Other settings:

Most of NPCs, followers/companions I have configured externally (my calculator --> .json files). The presets vary, but I don't use rapists/victims very often (I have Defeat for that) and I mostly exclude Khajiits and Argonians (not my thing either ;)). Also, I don't use the "faithful", "golddigger", "racist" traits. My character (male hetero) doesn't really give a shit about being approached so I got rid of the infamous "You". During my gameplay I usually see few "actions" per hour, especially in inns, palaces, but also between my companions (usually 2-3 of them, Sophia, Arissa, Hoth, Vilja, some vanilla followers, 3DNPCs, Anna NPCs.

I hope that this description will give you some hints - I would like to help, but I'm not really good in solving remotely...

Hell, the one major test I attempted was just myself, Cerwiden, Belethor, and Sigurd in Belethor's shop, no one else.  Even with the settings and arousal set to see if anything happened, it was just nothing but talk.  Exposure to the outside town and to the inn in Whiterun resulted in exactly one actual sex approach... which failed anyway.
