Strange, I can't get the MCM-menu in 1.3.5 even though it initializes without problems in 1.3.4. Are you sure the chicken was the only change?

Yea, same thing also applies to me. Can't get it to show up no matter what I do or how long I wait.

To anybody having problems with SLSL 1.3.5:

You of course you know that the download contains an .esp only, don't you? You still need the full 1.3.4 package and then you have to replace the .esp. I'm sorry if my advice sounds stupid, but in fact I have made similar mistake with a Fallout 3 mod some time ago (while installing it with a mod manager, BTW), so it occurred to me maybe this is a similar case. Well, you know, nobody's perfect and it's quite easy to forget the most obvious things.

Yeah, I usually use a mod manager and don't even look what's inside the 7z. Guess that's the reason why 1.3.4 works for me and 1.3.5 doesn't. :D I'll try the 1.3.4 files with the 1.3.5 esp and see what happens.^^

Well, there's another trap if you use 7z. If you do look inside .7z files or unpack them, do it with the 7z program. WinRAR or WinZip don't always cooperate in that matter. ...but perhaps you already know that.

Double checking this is the right place.

Sexlife.. yep it is.

nice.

So like I was saying in the wrong thread...

So that creepy stalker dude really bugs me... all invis calling me names while my char is balls deep in one of my followers.

Anyways...

I thought I'd mess around with the NPC "You" settings.

Turns out just setting a voice makes him have no voice.

I set his voice to - MaleUniqueAmaundMotierre [VTYP:000E2FC8] and what do you know... he shuts the fuck up.

Still speaks normally if your char is selected as A1 or whatever.

Also flagged him as Ghost, now he no longer shows up in thermal vision.

Extra note.

I saw his scale was set to 2.

Change that to 0.0001.

Now he doesn't block doorways too walked right over him, nice.

End is nigh for that cheeky coont.

Again, thanks for sharing! Until Dooge is back with some new version of SLSL, this should be the best solutions to the "U-problem". :D

Thanks for the tips to get rid of You dialogues.

I just add a funny example where You and Walking Book talked about how horny there were about each other.

You may want to do the same about 'Walking book' (assuming it also comes from SexLife).

Edit: I found out the Walking Book is an actual NPC (a slave) from Hydragorgon's Slave Girls :)

I can not get it to work, I wait two minutes and a message appears, entered the mcm and freezes.

What sort of  message did you see?

It is not 'OnUpdate:Sexlife...', but '1 new MCM menu...(as same as other mods' notice on MCM'

or something you have to await for.

In fact, while the former comes every 2 minutes (then, 30 seconds by default)

after the first installation, it doesn't necessarily mean that you can configure MCM without danger of freezing.

You may have to wait for longer time, maximum ca. 5 minutes without opening any MCM menu......

Let me add one tip for NMM 0.56.1 users.

If you installed 1.34 version and want to upgrade its esp with 1.35, don't use NMM for that operation. It won' work. Rather, extract 1.35 .esp directly into Skyrim/Data folder and then overwrite when asked , or extract 1.35 .esp to some other place and then copy/paste/overwrite. For some reason NMM doesn't do it's hob well in this matter.

Thank you, Your Grace!  :)  I use NMM (build 0.52.3), but have never had problems with SLSL (upgraded to 1.3.5 manually, though). Now that you mentioned it, could the installation via NMM be the reason for people having problems with SexLife not working properly/at all? I'm not talking about 1.3.5 at the moment, because here it's a different matter, but with earlier versions. I've heard about NMM not installing files properly sometimes, but as I said, I've never had such issue with SLSL.

Glad if I could help. :) Well, I also use NMM since I play Skyrim. Some NMM versions were good, versions before 0.53+. Since the authors added few new features into that mod manager, NMM become very "buggy". It does have a problem with installation of certain mods. For instance, "Light face" mod worked fine in my game before I install it with 0.56.1 version. After that, because of bad installation, the mod came in conflict with "Remove Interior Fog V2" mod in my game. When I removed "face light", all was fine. When Installed "light face" mod manually, have had no conflict. So, yes, NMM gets "sick" occasionally. :)

Edit: forgot to mention; I installed some earlier versions OF SLSL mod via NMM with (also) some earlier versions, and have not had any problems. Mod was installed properly. Why did others have installing problems via NMM, I wouldn't know. Sorry.

Yeah, I'll stick with my current version of NMM. Still, I think I need to check my Skyrim installment. With recent SL version I'm going to test the latest NSAP yet, but I have never had a slightest problem with that. However, I can't get one thing working properly - fcukin' beds. No matter if it's through SLSL, SLEN or anything, when actors have sex in bed, their positioning is screwed. Alignment is OK, but they are placed just at the very end of a bed, sometimes they sink into it (not completely, but too much). I've searched through the whole LL forum and I couldn't find any solution working for me. And sex in beds was OK with SL 1.59...

Hmm... as far as I know, and you've right about that, no one found ultimate solution for beds issues (and some furniture in general) that were always a "weak spot" in mods.  If you saw sex pictures I posted, you could notice that I always had a sex on the floor/ground. The main reason for that is various glitches related to beds even in SL 1.59c.  My player had so much sex on the ground or the floor that he wouldn't know now how to have sex in bed. :D

Hmmm, NMM didn't give me a problem when installing and updating.   I guess I am just plain lucky.  ;)

If you talking about NMM 0.56.1, you are lucky indeed. :)  I tried several times and it didn't work. I even reinstalled named version deleting all reference files from it, and still got nothing. :)

can we get a option to turn off it assigning certain traits like faithful and such? what i mnean is a option to check so it nevver assign that trait unless its assigned in a file already.

also a import export feature to saved ones we already set up would be nice.

I actually don't know why you're adding the "you" individual to the chicken faction or the player faction, maybe it's for something internal? Factions only affect how other factions react to them, they don't affect the affected individual aggressiveness. Like it's not making "you" behave like a chicken. The chicken faction is actually the prey faction, so what this means is that even though the bandit faction doesn't have the prey faction listed as an enemy it's neutral to it by default, but since bandits are aggressive by behavior they will still attack "you". Even Hunters in the wild are enemies of the chicken faction, so "you" is most likely gonna be attacked on sight by them probably. There's also the issue with the player faction in that it also has a bunch of enemies listed on it. Which will always be aggressive to it when it spawn.

A solution I'm gonna try and I'm gonna start a new game to test this stuff out, is adding "you" to the "dunprisonerfaction" exclusively which is actually a friend to most if not all enemy factions in the game, while simultaneously not being an enemy of the friendly factions. This should keep "you" from being attacked by things, but ti could also mean it might decide to join in on some fun if any other mod like say defeat call for "you" to take advantage of the player.

EDIT: actually I just tested it on an existing game and the factions seem to update fine, and having "you" being a member of the "dunprisonerfaction" caused my test bandits to ignore "you" just fine.

If you're familiar with TES5Edit, if you do both of this things the problems with you should be reduced, since it'll no longer pick up fights and it'll be small in scale so it won't block doorways or generally get in the way of NPCs. The only downside is that when NPCs talk to "you"l they'll look downwards since it's so tiny. I think TES5Edit calls it "height" not "scale" same thing though.

If you're not familiar with TES5Edit, I'm sure Dooge will take this fixes into consideration when he returns.

Any chance of having a version of Sex Life that is still just for NPC to NPC.   Since trying out Eager NPCs made this one for my character unneeded.  However I love the NPC on NPC actions of Sex Life.  That is why I still have it.     If it isn't really feasible then how can I remove the scripting for Player Character so I can achieve this goal.

Thank you so much for the mod. ;)
