Guest Jenova23 Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 You left QF_JJSofiaQuest_020285BD.psc in version 1.3.3 I don't know if having leftover scripts can have a effect on a game but I just wanted to mention it.
Dooge Posted July 25, 2015 Author Posted July 25, 2015 I really love the dialogues. Quite number of them are very funny. Great work. My compliments. Thanks! Most of them are in fact random... It's complex system but seems to work pretty well picking up who can say what. You left QF_JJSofiaQuest_020285BD.psc in version 1.3.3 I don't know if having leftover scripts can have a effect on a game but I just wanted to mention it. You should delete that yeah. And me too...
iacex111 Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Using windows 7. Funnily enough it was SL Warmbodies (which never worked for me either so it was always on my uninstall list) was preventing it somehow. Soon as I removed it, SLSL worked! warm bodies always been kinda wonky. oen game i get it to work and next it mess up my game so i dont us anymore Good to know! I haven't used this mod, but now I'm sure I never will.

Perhaps this is a reason why using a mod manager to (un/re)-install SLSL should be recommended?

Reiseconner Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 OKay so My only thing I'm having an interest in since it's annoying is that it's saying on my top left corner" SexLife: onUpdate start work function." I'm wondering what that means for me to do.

I'm wondering what that means for me to do. It means that you have about 10 seconds before your computer explodes... ;-) Seriously: If it's so annoying it means you should turn it off. It's SLSL debug messaging which you can toggle in the MCM. Yet, if you see that message, instead of being upset you should be glad as this message also means: "SLSL is working".
spoonsinger Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 OKay so My only thing I'm having an interest in since it's annoying is that it's saying on my top left corner" SexLife: onUpdate start work function." I'm wondering what that means for me to do. Go to the MCM menu for Sexlife, go to the debug option and turn off the post messages to screen option. (If you can't find it from those vague instructions, try uninstalling it, then uninstall sexlab and then try repointing the pointers to a different vector).
Pcgeekri Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Hai, This probably should be a request placed at SexLab Framework as well but I just wish Night Creatures was separated from Beasts. Have one group Night Creatures = Werewolves, Werebears, and Vampires (Oh my!) and the others Critters or something. It's like get all or nothing. It would also appear that my "You" has become hostile. Scan was done, person found to match my PC and this mage became armed, the danger music started and the mage said, "Found you" and shot a Frozen Dart near my PC missing my PC but hitting the nearby ground. This continues for a while. Not good. Papyrus is included. I'll go ahead and update to 1.3.4 now. Causes guards to go on alert too. Be talking to an NPC and they get all upset and start looking for "You" apparently. For me just wish there was a way to toggle off the dialogue. It gets old after awhile. Don't get me wrong it's a great mod, just dialogue gets old fast to me. Thanks. Edit: Looks like upgrading to 1.3.4 solved the hostile "You" problem for now. Laterz Maybe need a toggle in debug to turn off "You" and dialogues for troubleshooting purposes. Thanks for reading, Pcgeekri Papyrus.0.log

Yea, now all is working Thanks again sidfu for help and doogie for reducing animal search. np. i cant code but ive gotten good at fixing small problems. with mods like sexlife best to grab a few companions to follow and go to empty room to test. now dont forget 1 thing every npc u have a high interest in like your companions make sure u check there traits. 99% the time companions are bi for sex lab but not always. and faithful npc= u probaly never gonna see them have sex till he makes a way for us to select there lover.
Dooge Posted July 26, 2015 Author Posted July 26, 2015 I'm going on a holiday for two weeks. I will not take my laptop with me. Seems like the latest version is robust so stick with that meanwhile.I think I need to play with the mod (SLSL) before I can make any significant improvements or content. However, to play, I feel like I am still missing one essential mod that does not exist. So without further ado I announce there will be another Dooge mod, yeah, I will make the mods I need.It will have lot of dialogue so I can use my holiday making that up. It is a story mod meant for male PC play through but it will allow playing with other gender setups, although some dialogue may sound wrong. It will feature... a special person. Mod will allow that to be anyone, your favorite follower or vanilla NPC. I have actually already worked on it for a week and things look good. However, due to the nature of that mod, there will be no gradual release like with SLSL. This is to protect the content. Once it is ready and works I will upload it. Perhaps some people get to play test it before I don't know, it is early still.
sidfu Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 a filter needs to be added so that it dont select dead bodies for the person that is suppose to approach
Skippe Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 enjoy your holiday dooge and i am definatelly anticipatin your other mod too
y_sengaku Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Hello, I also hope Dooge enjoys his holiday. I have nowadays had close look at .json files from immersive vanilla presets v 1, attached also with the latest update (v 1.3.4) as well as Design & Tools v. 1.0, and found the following problems, however.: Missing entries: In addition to whole the population of Darkwater Crossing (which i supposedly submitted as one of the first presets), as noted in the preset excel file, some NPCs from Riften, mainly the Black Briars, priests of Mara, and the members of Thieves Guild have been missing in the NPCs lists in preset file. Hence, they are given random attributes in the game now. I first noticed this problem when I found 'rapist' among the attributes of Maramal the Priest (of Mara!) in MCM. Wrong association with .esm file name: In immersive vanilla presets v1, most of the NPCs from Dragonborn (in Solstheim), such as Master Neloth & Miraak, have been miss-associated with Dawnguard.esm, so their assigned attributes must be also treated as missing in the game now. In other words, it is very highly likely that they get random attributes in each game when you meet them, at least with this preset file. I personally edited the presets by correcting such 'mistakes', as attached below (together with the preset .csv/ excel files, and some bonus files): y_sengaku_tweaked_presets_v_1_0_w_csv_files_&_others.zip On the other hand, this 'y_sengaku_presets' has its own problem as a 'canonical' preset: I tweaked the original attributes from some NPCs (especially in Riverwood, Whiterun, and Riften), in accordance with my taste, so it is now diverged a bit from the original one. If someone need 'correction' only ver, I'll be glad to help.
Delzaron Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Hi I installed your mod in a current game, and I got an interesting problem. It's create a invisible copy of the player (you can see "you" when you have subtiles activated). This you is recognized as ennemi by some of NPC, specialy the non Vanilla ones. An,d I dont ducced to see any sex scene by using your mod, but maybe it's because I set the arousal level too high.

Since the mod author takes a leave for about two weeks from now, I (although as a mod noob) reply your questions on his behalf. Sudden hostility between 'You' and NPCs: I also encountered this problem. Have you updated SLSL ([edit]Sexlife, sorry for jargon) with the latest one (v 1.3.4)? I assume the latest one seems to fix this bug. Run Test of the mod: From the debug & development menu in MCM, you can manually assign actors (by sexlab hotkey) as test subjects of this mods! With adjusted arousal values (from SLA/ SLA Redux) & lowered its threshold (from this mod's MCM), it would be easy to see the sexual dialogue/act initiated by this mod: My recommendation as test subjects are the spouses Alvor(A1) & Sigrid (A2), or Hod (A1) & Gerdur (A2) in Riverwood. I hope these short notices will help you for the time being.
