Seems to be okay on female followers on arrest. Male followers seem to receive DDE restraints ok in the cell etc, just not during arrest. bcstv Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 Hello. Is it just me or POP is janky and kinda broken as heck, as in playable but so janky it's not enjoyable? First of all, it doesn't detect my follower (shown in MCM). Not only was the follower not arrested with me, she even ended up became part of the crowd whipping me instead. Seccond, the punishments are ALWAYS sex even though the % for beatings/whippings far outweigh them in MCM. Third, parades are just awkward loop of me getting maniacly beaten up constantly for no reason even though I walk (not run or sprint), then I get down to be healed by immersion breaking huge burst of magic, then repeat for hours. In pillory time, literally nothing happens for the whole session as I'm left out in Whiterun where all the pillories and wheel and cross are weirdly placed leaning against Belethor's store in comfortable shade for some reason instead of being exposed for the public to see the humiliation. VIP calls also take ages to progress for each step, and I have to constanly using SUM to stop/restart AI/scenes all the time. Are these just the limitations of the mod, or is something wrong with specifically my game?

POP is a very complex, very ambitious mod. Some people have problems with POP, but it works well for other people. POP does not handle multiple followers very well. It is better to have only one follower if you expect to get arrested. I use Nether's Follower Framework (NFF). Before getting arrested, I go into NFF's MCM and put the follower into the Game Slot, instead of leaving the follower in one of NFF's slots. I also turn off Teleport in NFF's MCM. If you are using a mod that "augments" follower behavior, such as Submissive Lola or Devious Followers Continued, you should pause those mods before getting arrested. My main issue with POP's follower support is that POP tends to favor choosing 3-person animations with the player, your follower, and the punisher (Jailer / guard), which limits the possible animations and often un-immersively puts the player or the follower in a dominant position. Maybe @Inte will consider changing the behavior to use 2-person animations and punish the player, then punish the follower, separately in sequence. I agree that parades are not fun with the default MCM settings. I use the following settings so that parades are more enjoyable. Or you can turn off parades completely in the MCM. In my game, there is typically a series of 10 or more punishment sessions by NPCs who ask the Jailer if they can use the player. The bondage furniture placement in Whiterun is a bit awkward, but I would not ask @Inte to change it, because of the potential for conflict with numerous city overhaul mods. POP is not perfect, but it sounds like POP is not working as well in your game as could be expected. The issues you have reported (except for the VIP cell) are not expected and not universal. Is the problem reproducible? If so, then please turn on Papyrus logging, reproduce the problem, and post your Papyrus log. That might be helpful for @Inte. Thanks!

Also mcm doesnt work as said. i said no hardmode, game goes in hardmode. i said no iron mask, game puts pc in iron mask how comes you broke all these years of patching , falling in a result worse than you started with ? Well when entering a part of the room doesn't appear, it's just blue area, when approaching the area, some parts of the room come to existence... this is with the se version, 5.01. Well it's zaz8 too, not sure it's exactly the same version, it's the cbbe here. Since it's the only room with this problem afaik, there is probably something somewhere if it's not in pop itself. I'll post if I find something new about that !

There is an option in the MCM for the Jailer to leave you with "parting gifts", i.e. restraints after your release from prison. Did you have that option set? Perhaps that is why you were left with restraints? Regarding removal of the restraints - are you looking for a way to escape them through gameplay, or are you looking for a non-gameplay MCM option to remove them?

Regarding removal of the restraints - are you looking for a way to escape them through gameplay, or are you looking for a non-gameplay MCM option to remove them? Yeah that was check so I will uncheck it before the next attempt. Although I did notice her arms were like that in the cell instead of in the armbinder so it almost seems like they are overriding everything else. I'm fine using the console to get them off or whatever since I can't open the inventory otherwise lol.

Like my capturer has ran into the jail building with me. But after that happens me and the capturer just stand there with nothing happening. I have tried playing around with skipping stuff in the debug menu but that doesnt change anything either.
jfraser Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 hey Inte (and hero )! love the changes to the mod. all the new cages are fantastic. i looked back through the last several pages and didn't see anything about this, so figured i'd ask - is there a known issue with no sex scene with the arresting guard? he says "get on the ground" and then nekkedness, then we both just stand there for 65 seconds, then redress and off to jail. sex scenes are working in general, so it doesn't appear to be sexlab related, per se. any ideas?

So many things can go wrong with AI control of the player character for an extended amount of travel. Alas, none of that applied in my situation. I was wearing only boots. No devices at all. I had no followers. I'm using eff. The sex is working in the jail and in the rest of the mod, just not at arrest. But, I take it from your response this is not a common occurrence. So it must just be something in my load order somewhere. Because it was happening previously in a earlier version. But I put in the new version and started a brand new game and it still happens. But since it not affecting everything, something I can deal with I suppose

The "Jailer getting stuck" is a somewhat commonly reported problem. You are reporting that Punishment sex is not occurring properly at the time of arrest. Punishment sex at arrest occurs between player and the arresting guard (not the Jailer). I seem to recall this problem has also been reported, but I don't think it is as common as the "Jailer getting stuck" problem. It is possible to turn off Punishment at arrest in the MCM. That would not fix the problem, of course, but it would avoid the problem.

jfraser Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 Oh, it's not just me. I was also having the problem before upgrading. I started a new game after upgrading as well. Interesting. And the sex seems to mostly work after the arrest, although one of the animations is weird because both my character and the guard are bent over exactly the same way with a gap between us. No idea if that's related to this though
