Other probl;em which I have, I can't open wheel menu for animal, even normal menu, there is no interaction with animal now. I tried everything. Before in version 106 I had. What could I do with that?

 

I second that.

Ironed out whatever was causing the stir before, but my pack is unable to be interacted with apart from shouts.

Neither the talk action, the wheel menu on talk nor the minor power is working.

 

I do have UI Extensions installed.

 

1) Wheel Menu not showing when you use the Lesser Power = uiextensions not installed, or not loaded. check papyrus logs. Also make sure you installed the right one, another user earlier apparently installed something called "Extension UI" or something that was a completely different mod and not what I linked to.

 

2) Wheel Menu popping up with Lesser Power BUT NOT when you "talk" to pets = I fucked up. Install 110 and do "Reset Settings Only" to register the menu.

 

110 is a bugfix release for a few things.

Nope 1) is not the case.

Simply because I have both UI Extensions and Extended UI (requirement for another mod) installed and according to the log both are running as they should.

I recently have discovered the minor power does indeed work. Sometimes. Without having changed anything in Mod Organizer. That behaviour is very strange.

Next up after trying 110 is searching for that conflicting mod ...

Also remember the range is pretty limited. You have to be within normal dialog distance, as well as have them under the crosshair. It should even work even if you dont see "Wolf. (A) Talk" pop up.

 

I remember in the past getting the entity under the crosshair was a little iffy, but I haven't noticed any major glitches yet. So far the only problem I had was when my game got backlogged with scripts the menu didn't show until i dropped it all via quicksave/quickload. Afterwhich it popped up like 10 times in a row to catch up.

Random idea/suggest (once you've finished with what you're currently working on): But maybe add the ability for pack members to have sex with female npc companions? I know creatures are suppose to get stronger the more your character has sex with them, but once you have a pack of like 6 or 8 or more, you can't really go at it with them ALL on a regular basis. I usually just pick one as the "alpha" and just try to level him up every now again. But I thought it might nice if I could have a second beast have a little sexy time with a female companion at the same time.

 

I think it would up the immersion factor to have your character and your female companion be both laying with your pack at the same time. Plus perhaps the Mating Call could even be tweaked so that if it adds more then one beast at a time during a single call, one of the extra beasts will have sex with a female companion (if available). Perhaps the female companion could even get pregnant with beasts as well.

 

I don't know how hard any of that would be to script, I'd just like to include my female companion in with the pack somehow, rather then have her just stand there and watch all the time. Feel free to use any of the ideas or disregard them. lol

I keep using the power at the sabrecat (thats what in my pack) when standing right in his face. No way that's not within range.

A script backlog also is not a viable cause, simply because after some time standing idle somewhere with no further scripts calculating it should catch up. 

As said, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Different Skyrim Startups with no changes to loadorder, mod order, ini or any other thing in MO.

Alright i have your newest version of untamed and wheel menu works nicely, but whenever i try to "give name" to my little chaurus buddy´s they´ll just leave the pack :o and wondering is it in my end now ? i have all the required + both of the UI extensions and extended UI due to some other mod needed

 

Edit: Only from wheel menu if "give name" they leave the pack....

getting the animals to follow npc's is technically impossible right now, because the only way to do that is with Packages and Quest Aliases. my method involves no quest aliases, so that you can have an infinite number of things. The reason why all the follower frameworks and such say things like "up to 5 followers" or "up to 128" followers is because they literally have binders full of "If(Alias1) ElseIf(Alias2) ... ElseIf(Alias16)" or are using native arrays which are limited to 128 items.

 

i refuse to write that code. the only reason this mod even works is because we got lucky enough that i can bind the playerref to a package data value directly in the package.

 

the only way this could be made to happen would be if papyrusutil or skse added the ability to throw actors directly into packages currently running on an npc. which probably won't happen. ActorUtil.SetPackageDataValueRef(Actor Pet, Package FollowPackage, String DataName, Actor WhoFollow)

 

most of the code of the mod is actually designed to allow any character to be a beastmaster, just in case we get lucky.

yeah, sorry.

 

about 10 minutes after i uploaded 110 i noticed that when i moved those options to "harder to accidentally" spots i didn't update the stupid code that elects what they should do. the right half of the wheel will work fine, follow/stay, fondle, fetch, but the left half will be broken until later this weekend. probably late saturday night as i assume my gf will show up here soon.

The Matrix Prime, have you tried "sexlab-Aroused Creatures" ?  I use that one along with this mod and both Farkas and Lydia became most useful to my critters.  :lol:

Though admittedly I didn't check to see if my critter's level went up.  I was just amused over the whole thing. 

 

thelonelystoner, I use the SexLabWerewolves mod so both genders have their proper genitals.

Odd thing I found out is Wulfram, a werewolf NPC that I made for myself as a follower a few months ago, passes on his "essential" setting to his offspring.  So they are all "no dies".  Go figure.  

 

Also most of the time when I use a bow the critters will rush the enemy... but rather than engage them they merely stand there and take the hits till I shoot the enemy dead.   If I rush in with blades drawn they more often join actively in the fight as well.  This doesn't happen 100% of the time.... but often enough to be amazed how the AI assesses how best to help the PC depending on what kind of weapons are drawn.  If it's not that then this random stuff is awesome.  :P

not sure if this has been mentioned before and sorry if it has. but maybe an option in the mcm to remove pack members, i have a dragon in my pack. as soon as he joined he flew off in the distance never to be seen again and the summon shout wont bring him back to me.

i had this problem once. turned out i had skip pack members enabled in my mcm. hopefully it will be the same for you :)

The 'Skip Pack Member' option (default on) is supposed to only affect the mating call i.e. if you shout which animals will rush to sexy time ...

Nevertheless 110 fixed the issue with the dialogue option. The minor power still isn't working 100% of the time but now it doesn't need to anymore.

 

Now we wait for the fix of the fix :D

I decided to try a idea I had with my werewolf female Wulfberry.... I created her as result of Snowberry having a female baby via the Beeing Female mod from her alpha Wulfram.

At first Wulfberry only acted as a "normal" follower.  Not reacting at all to the Untamed commands of any sort.   That is until I switched on Aroused Creatures.    When she unexpectedly  started sexy time with my PC I decided to enable the after sex join pack option.  After that she listens to all the Untamed commands without problem.   After discovering that Wulfram was in essence "cloning" himself though the offspring via Untamed.  I decided to see if Snowberry were to conceived from Wulfberry, would she have another female werewolf via Untamed?  Three game days later I had my answer....post-574239-0-29604000-1423908176_thumb.png she was born with her....ehm...sires name (Wulfberry).  I re-named her Alyseeum. 

 

They are so tiny when they are first born.  :wub:

Oh and Snowberry is expecting triplets from Wulfram via Beeing Female mod this time.  :lol:

It's great mod. I love it.

 

But could we have additional setting in config menu to choose if non-battle animals will go smaller or not? Because I would like to have them all in size which they are. It's for me annoying that they are going to be smaller. If I will not want some animal in my group I will simply dismiss it.

Why? Because, in example, I wanted to have fun and get whole full stable of horses.

It's not always about huge power and battle in games. Sometimes its more about fun, you know?

EDIT: My bad. I found horses are not going smaller. Just deer and some other creatures.

I actually keep getting an Ice Wolf spawning as part of the pack randomly. Won't show up a member of the pact normally, until he suddenly spawns (usually after Fast Travel). Then he shows up as normal - until he gets killed. Only to mysteriously respawn later. Its not everytime, just now and then. I've never gotten a "second" Ice Wolf either, just the one.

 

I rename him "Lucky" everytime he shows up. lol

 

Should call him Dogmeat :^)

Love the idea of the mod and am pretty damn impressed with how well it works.

 

One thing I'd suggest though is at least add an option to disable/adjust the armor bonus and magic resist, since when it stacks with armor it's wildly unbalanced. I know the idea was to be walking around naked all the time, but I personally am a junkie for Frostfall freezing to death action! And armor looks cool. ;P

 

I'm sure there's at least somebody else out there that'd like to use this mod in conjunction with armor!

 

Anyway, top notch stuff even with that caveat!

Dont know if this is something you'd want to do, but can you set it so, if you are a werewolf and you have sex with a non-beast, you dont lose your bonuses?

 

Kinda hard to rape the normal population when I'm losing the things that make the big puppy so dangerous!

I use to have Sexlab Aroused Creatures back when I had Sexlab Aroused, but I ended up uninstalling both mods because I became tried of having my character suffering from penalties if she didn't have sex like twice a day. I try to play virtuous characters usually, so they don't have sex unless they get raped. I recently ended up installing Sexlab Aroused Redux though, so maybe I'll put the creature one back in.

His name is Bearchow now, lol. I decided to see what would happen if I dismissed him the next time he showed up. So when he popped up again yesterday, I did so and my two bears (Pooh Bear and Edward Bear) promptly ate him. He has yet to show his face again . . .

So far Im enjoying your mod, thank you for making it!

 

Bugs: 

1. Multiple Wheels when using the power. As the wheels lack labels it makes it hard to tell which animal you are ordering.

2. Animal shrinking. This seems (at least in my experience) to be only happening to animals you cannot have sex with. Deer, Elk, Foxes, Rabbits.

3. Ghosts/nonexistent followers. Every so often one of my animals will vanish. They are still registered as following in the MCM but the call pack doesn't bring them to me, nor do they seem to be anywhere in the world. 

 

I do have a few suggestions: 

1. A name on the wheel so we know which animal we are commanding (Since the power opens up several wheels :I)

2. The ability to dismiss pack members in the mcm menu (To counter missing animals that are still registered as following)

3. A more selective group of animals, to be honest I'm tired of deer joining my pack. If you could do something like One with Nature (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54090/?)  where we could select which animals we want to be able to join our pack, it would be amazing.  (If not to that extent then even something that turns off non sexable animals from joining would also be great)

4. Either add a patrol command or allow animals that have been told to stay to wander the area.

i've been bugging expired about getting a title. his screenshots show one but i cant find one in the code. i think he is tired of me, though. and yeah if you click too fast you can get multiple wheels XD

i already started working on the progression mcm tab but i started with the animals sliders first.

 

Kinda figured since it seemed like the kind of thing that wasn't hard/impossible to do in the scope of the mod. More configurability is generally more betterer than less configurability after all.

 

Well, within reason.

 

Keep on keepin' on, this mod is shaping up awesomely!

Hey, My stats menu doesn't seem to be changing at all when i have sex, and the untamed level doesnt seem to be rising at all. 

Does fondle creature help raise your level? Does make irresistible, the spell, work to level up?

 

The whole stats menu is visible but dark grey. I cant click on anything within it.

Is this on purpose or is it broken?
