It really is about time I tried converting this one.  I still go back and play it for the Intro Quest...

 

OK - I tried it and got stuck.

This is NOT a request for support - it is just my observations. Anyone doing conversions is on their own.

MiasLair_V62_Loose is the best version to start with, since you need to dump the BSA anyway.

Unzip it and MiasLair_V62bPatch. Copy the patch over the base.

Convert all NIFs (except facegen) with NIF Optimizer.

Convert all HKX animation files with the SE HKX tool.

Convert the ESM to ESP, touch it with the CK, and put it back to ESM.

Zip it all back up, and install it with your SE Mod Manager of choice.

Run FNIS. Must run error free.

In testing, a surprising amount works. MCM Menu is perfect, Courier provides Jar Ravencrone's letter perfectly, "On the Trail" Quest starts perfectly,

up to when I approach the bandit camp. I saw a bald bandit - so I converted the Mia's Lair hair pack.

Randomly, from the time I approach the camp to the Bandit Chief saying "Get her", I CTD.

Nothing useful in the trace, looks like I am missing a prereq.

Hopefully this inspires a converter to try it - and get further than I did.

I am curious. Since only male PCs can bring only female NPCs for training, would using the console command "sexchange" allow a female PC to bring in a female NPC follower for training (and then change back to female using sexchange again). Would I also have to change my player's sex in SexLab (or best of all only change it in SexLab)?

Mod is written from the point of view of a female player character. All I have ever brought in as a female player character is female NPCs for training. Your question may have been worded wrong.

According to what I have read in this topic, female PC's can not enslave anyone. If that is incorrect I would like to know that also. However, if that is correct, then could a female PC bring a female NPC to Volkar, perform sexchange on themselves, get Volkar to enslave the female NPC and then sexchange back to female.

Sex changes are not needed. Volkar is happy to help enslave your female NPC.

According to Fishburger67's posting on March 30, 2017 Female PC's can not enslave anybody. I just want to be sure and I am thankful for any help I can get. The quote is in the middle of page 356 on this forum (help for Sex Slaves).

I give you all due credit for reading these 370 pages of posts.  However -

Fish's quote  is: "Also, are you playing as a male or female PC, and remember, only FEMALE NPCs can be trained as slaves".

Also - it would be a lot faster - and more satisfying - if you would just install the mod and try it.

I did. In fact it was my inability to get Volkar to offer to train my follower that inspired the question.

I've never gotten Volkar to train my followers, I think it's a bug unrelated to the player's gender.

I am going to apologize for the length of this before I start. However, if you are interested in making followers into slaves here is what I have learned.

 

According to Fishburger67 (on the bottom of page 356 dealing with this topic) there are five requirements for getting Volkar to make a follower a slave:

   1) the PC (you) must be male,

   2) the NPC to be trained must be female.

   3) you must have completed the Jarl's daughter quest,

   4) you must have advanced in the Dark Possession quest sufficiently (sadly what he alluded to makes no sense to me, a quest stage would have been more helpful)

   5) you can not have Vess or Niri as followers.

I can attest that when I met those five conditions Volkar would offer to place a follower in slave training.

 

For those of us, like me, who prefer to play as a female PC I have discovered a workaround. Save the game (always save the game prior to using a console command), open the console (by hitting the tilde (~) key just to the left of the number one on an English keyboard) and type in sexchange and hit return. Volkar will now see you as male and will offer to train your follower. When I did this I had completely finished Dark Possession since, as I mentioned above, I'm not certain how far along you have to be (so I figured complete was good). After that I reopened the console and typed in sexchange again making me female again. This did not cause a CTD or any other problem so far. When female again the dialogue for follower slave training disappeared again and the dialogue for training the player came back.

 

Now I have Idgrod the Younger hanging next to her sister Allison (I hope this turns into some real fun later when I have them both thoroughly trained.

 

I strongly recommend not looking at your character during the sechange - I think it's gross (but it does the job).

When I take my PC to Volkar for training, he removes all the items and then says that they are stored in a backpack. But I'm not able to find any backpack in or near the training room. Please help

so i got this mod a while ago and just tried it ouut and it seems too work ok but when i go to talk to tzollaman i dont get any dialog pretaining to the quest too find out who he works for Ny help would b appericiated thnx and sorry if thiis has been covered already i couldnt find it if it was thnx again

Hey, i really like this mod and i think this is made wonderfully. But i have an issue with the voices. I just wanted to know if there is a way to disable the voices of sexslaves. I guess it

is just a matter of personal taste but i don't really like them and it is annoying to hear 3 voices with 2 persons.

Hello, I love this mod but after the dark possession quest started Volkar literally follows my character everywhere. I've tried dismissing all my followers via set playerfollowercount to 0, but he's still there. Following, judging me with them dremora eyes... 0^0

the Mia's lair BSA001 file (whatever it's called) for the SexLab Sex Slave mod is corrupted. everytime i try to extract the file inside of the winrar it says the archive is corrupted. you guys might want to look into that.

When in doubt, it is always a good idea to read the instructions. the .001 file and the .002 file are each half a zip archive. Concatenate them using 7Zip.

Either one will appear corrupt if given to WinRAR without the other half.

I did read the instructions. it said to extract them. i tried extracting the one from 001 which didn't work at all. 002 didn't turn into a winrar at all so it just remained a blank paper looking image. Also, since my mod manager is physically incapable of installing Zaz's animations i'm not going to use this mod.

umm ok two points here 

 

1 - the instructions specifically say to use 7zip to extract the split files. it has a link to 7zip (which is a free program) and doing it exactly as stated in the install

     instructions has worked for me every single time (and i kept messing other things up in my load order aand wound up reloading this and other mods).

 

2 - what mod manager are you using that will not physically install ZAZ animations?? NMM (Nexus Mod Manager) and MO (Mod Organizer) are the 2 most commonly

     used mod mangers and both will handle ZAZ animations during install (it is part of the ZAZ Animation pack, and just part of that mod, so they do not need to be

      installed separately).

I can t finish the lair part. Archeron ,,whips" my char out of the chain Animation. After this my char just stands there while archeron hits the air.

The Scene can t be finished.

I noticed this in the whole lair, it seems all chars get ,,pushed out" from the devices breaking the animations. I bet it s a conflict with anything or maybe a wrong Version of something. But i just can t find the Problem. i tried to load only the necessary mods, but the issue is still there.

Everything else works fine. Is there a way to just skip this Scene ?.

I am new to the whole Skyrim modding.

It would be great if someone could help me, i want to see the rest of this well made mod.

OK, so there seems to be some bandit supplies some where but where??  Found the training crop but no supplies

I got the shield for Andrew, I believe the next quest is to find his sister but it's been 16 days since the shield quest finsished.

I have visited several major cities and still nothing. Is this normal or have I broken something?

Ok, everything seems smooth except when I want to make a slave out of a follower. Is it possible to make a sex slave out of Annekke Craig-Jumper for example??

 

Edit. NEVERMIND AGAIN!! I was trying to get the dialogue out of the wrong Dremora

 

Note to others; there are two Dremora to interact with. The one closest to the palace (where the 3 slaves are) is the right one

When you say cannot have Vess or Niri as followers...you mean active followers, not "have let them go earlier in the quests" correct?

I'm a little confused by all this because I have not been able to start Dark Possession on my male chars...I finished it on my female char....rescued Tabitha and all then...then got him to cancel my contract....still cannot train female followers.

 

UPDATE: Ok I *think* I might know what's wrong...in the Sex Slaves MCM it says I have (0) followers...no matter how I invite them. Mind you most of my followers are from mods....I have tried Lydia yet...might be next.

 

UPDATE #2: Seems that MCM only recognizes the follower if you cross a loading screen with it...in other words calling Tocatta with the spell doesn't work...going outside and calling her, then having her follow you does.

I'm sorry to say that I can't be of much help (having never tried this with a male character).  As I mentioned, I was simply quoting Fishburger from earlier in this thread. You may want to go back to that note, quote it and then list your problem. I expect Fishburger will be happy to explicate.
