3 Years bodyslides and Outifit Studio are out with hundred of tutorials and videos, you cant ask to the car dealer to teach you to drive

 

 

 

Thank you Pincopallino, I know how to drive but it's hard to choose a car when there are so many to choose from. :D:lol:

Damn, someone's been busy!

 

Ran into a problem with the Chain Harness Mittens. Somehow the hidden devious portion of the item and the inventory item aren't connected properly for me. When equipping the Mittens, I don't receive the normal text that I do when equipping any other item ("You slip the restraints around your legs, and they lock in place with a soft click"). Both halves of the item are still equipped, though. They also don't require the Body to be equipped like the other items.

 

However, when unequipping the Mittens, the hidden half does NOT unequip when the inventory half is unequipped. They are still visible on the character and block other wrist restraints and remain that way until I unequip it via the console. I take that back, it's the Arm portion that's blocking wrist restraints. The Mittens don't conflict with other wrist restraints in any way, it appears. (Though that seems curious to me as well)

 

FWIW, this is on a brand new game (still in the Abandoned Prison), with all new DDa, DDx, DDi, and DCL.

I buy my cars in one piece, the dealer doesn't give me a bunch of parts and tell me to build the thing myself. lol.

It might be a noob question but i have a problem i am using 7base and when i try to wear anything my body is just missing, any ideas why?

 

No body mod other than CBBE-HDT and UUNP is supported AND you have to build the assets in Bodyslide. You CAN use a 7B like preset if you wish.

 

 

Slighty related, I'm a bit out of practice on skyrim mods, but I'm struggling to get the hobble dress and mitts ingame. When I do the batch build for DDA/DDX I don't see entries for them. I also note the .nifs for them are in the /bodyslide/shapedata folder. Is there something I'm missing here?

 

 

Did you use the installer? Were there any errors during installation?

 

 

Just reinstalled it to check - selected UUNP and it installed it to 100% with no errors that I saw.

I see the problem. You selected boots in the outfit/body dropdown. You should only ever do that if you're planning to generate one mesh at a time.

 

If you're doing batch build, you need to change it to "Unified UNP", "Unified UNP HDT" or "Unified UNP Special" depending on which of those your base body is based on.

 

 

Had this problem, noticed that the dress is under the Unified UNP/ Unified UNP HDT groups.

I have followed the above insructions on 6  test items and lo and behold they showed up ingame. One of them was the new bunnyhop dress thing, I nearly fell off my chair laughing

at the animation. Last question, do I have to build everything that appears in the drop down list including the old expansion items or just the new stuff?

This is the first release with bodyslides and the sets were provided by different modders so probably Kimy will need to polish things a bit, it's good to blame Kimy for problems, it's easy too. However with batch build you will not have problems, everything will be built, it is just that some items will not be shown when selecting some presets.

as i have already said you have to only click "batch build" to build everything

I already installed all requirement mod, but I can't see any texture of new devices.

any other requirements?

 

Are you using CBBE, if so im having the same issue i even tried seeing if i cant fix it in bodyslide but i couldnt. I honestly didnt want to bother everyone because i had hoped i could solve it on my own with enough effort. surprise surprise... i couldn't  :s . my issue is i cant find the outfits anywhere in the preset section or outfit/body section on bodyslide even after i used group filters to narrow it down...

Not too sure what's going on here... I've updated all Devious Devices mods and upon loading I get an error saying that I have the wrong ZaZ Animation Pack file. I just went and redownloaded the newest file and everything. Says I need 6.10 and that I have 6.07, but my files say that I have 6.11. Do I just ignore this error?

Same problem as qwertyasadf here, Using CBBE, all textures are not there, both on a fresh game / current game. Also, using Bodyslide didn't fixed it (and i'm used to using the tool).

 

Thing is, i see all items and they work (scripts and everything)

 

Edit: After some more digging out, updating Bodyslide and rebuilding did the trick! Works perfectly!

EditToAdd: By does not work, I mean that it displays the same for 0 weight and 100 weight.

Well that's my game well and truly ****ed. I tried to do the batch build and there were so many radio buttons for so many different UNP/UUNP I ended up guessing and praying it would work and now my game just hangs and won't load. Gonna have to reinstall the whole lot again. There has to be a way to avoid all this s***.

The latest, bodyslide v4.0. However, the bodyslide files for CBBE HDT I downloaded from your thread show the different presets...

Nope. Some of the older stuff that I downloaded show the different preset, but I recall downloading a new CBBE bodyslide conversion and not being able to see the different presets for some reason :/. Really at a loss for ideas here.

 

Edit: The falmer bikini cbbe bodyslide files show the different presets as reference that other stuff have presets showing except for the new DD stuff
