Princessity Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Just got in-game and still trying stuff out. Hobble dress + overburdened = strangeness. Sometimes I can move, sometimes I can't? Further messing with, hobble dress + overburdened + 3rd person view = no movement hobble dress + overburdened + 1st person view = movement (very slow, but to be expected) Once I start moving in 1st person, so long as I am holding down any movement key, I can switch to third person and keep moving. Once I stop moving I get stuck again till I zoom into 1st person. What kind of hobble dress? Extreme, relaxed or elegant? Extreme has a prevention mechanism but we didn't think the other two needed it since they don't slow player down that much.
Deuton Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Ok, i think i just figured out how that Bodyslide-thing works. Actually this seem to be pretty easy and fast, stupid me didn't expect this... So here's what i did: 1. Open NMM 2. click "Supported Tools" (top right of toolbar), choose Bodyslide 2 there 3. choose Game (Skyrim in this case) 4. under "Present" Tab (second row on the top left) choose the body used (CBBE curvy, in my case) 5. check the "Build Morph"-Box in the lower left side (?; not sure but it's description makes sense) 6. click "Batch Build" in the lower left --> a window with a list of all the "clothing" opens 7. in this window everything is checked by default, so i left it this way (i'm not sure this is correct, because even already existing/fitting outfits were build again...) 8. next window, choose output (?; i choose standart CBBE (no undies and stuff) in the body section and non TBBP/HDT versions in the other sections, because i don't use any bouncing) 9. After processing is completed, close Bodyslide and start the game via NMM, the devices show up on my char now (yay!) Some ideas, whether i did this correct? It seems to work so far, tested on a new char...
pavelius_pavlentius Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 I managed to fix my problem, thanks Princessity <3

greyspammer Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 When i equip any Hobble Dress, my characters body becomes invisible, and hobble dress is also invisible You need to use Bodyslide. Also if you are having any issues with animations, update your FNIS and XPMSE. Same problem here. After asking, people confirmed that I indeed used BodySlide correctly. But the dress still is invisible (animations are fine, though). I checked in the CK and the AA points to devious\devices\kimydress_eb_1.nif. Which does not exist in my data\meshes directory. Same with the bondage mittens and the elegant dress, by the way. I used UUNP - UNP in BodySlide. Could it be that some information that BodySlide needs for UUNP is missing in the archive or placed in the wrong folder? EDIT: When I try to build the mesh manually in BodySlide (instead of doing a batch build), it claims that the NIFs were generated. But they weren't. BodySlide is lying to me.

This fixed the issue for me: Hold CTRL when doing batch build in bodyslide, then move the resulting folder into Mod Organizer's mod directory. It looks like bodyslide + Mod Organizer combo messes up somewhere if the intended file doesn't exist already.

I created the meshes in some other folder, then copied the files manually to where they should be. Now I have a hobble dress! Thanks!
Devious Diana Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 So I looked at a bunch of the previous posts regarding the 2.0 update, I've updated all mods (DDa, DDi, DDx, Bodyslide, Zaz etc.).Yet the majority of the items I try out on my character still appear invisible, I don't get any odd animations, but it does say the devices are locked on my character. I have no experience using Bodyslide, I just added it to my load order and ran with it. What do I do to make the items appear?

It's much easier to just batch-build everything (But make sure you select your body in the Outfit/Body dropdown menu first!)

Kimy Posted November 18, 2016 Author Posted November 18, 2016 Version 2.0b- Fixed chain mittens, slider sets and the hobble dresses.
greyspammer Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Yes... if you want to build one item at a time. It's much easier to just batch-build everything (But make sure you select your body in the Outfit/Body dropdown menu first!) May I suggest to add a sentence or two covering exactly that issue to the DDa/x description? Something like: To use BodySlide, if you are content with standard body shapes (like CBBE or UNP), just install everything, start BodySlide, select your standard body and preset (e.g. "Unified UNP" and "UUNP - UNP"), then click on "Batch build", select the output sets as appropriate and hit "Ok". For more information, or if you wish more control over the result and/or use a non-standard body type, check out any of the tutorials on the internet [ideally linking to a few good ones here]. That wouldn't take up too much room and probably cover what a plurality (if not a majority) of users actually need. And alleviate the dread that is associated for many first-time users when being confronted with BodySlide. Sifting through tons of guides and tutorials on all the complex stuff that can be done with BodySlide, simply to find out what you have to do if you just want what previous versions of DDa/x gave you out-of-the-box, isn't exactly user-friendly.
Soaryne Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Bug Reports DDx is missing the MODL-RACE codes for Argonian (all), Argoinian Vampire (all), Orc (some), Orc Vampire (some), Khjiit (some), Khjiit Vampire (some) codes one the Heretic's itmes Armor Addons. The Heretic's anal plug remove tails form the races when worn. Remove the tail place 40 form then will fix this.

We never test the items with them and don't design them for them either.

This patch will have all Heretic show on Argonians both vampire and non-vampires and no longer have the heretic anal plugs remove tails form the races wearing them. DDx Beast Races Fix.zip
