Kuvuplan Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Can I use this mod if I'm playing as male PC? Can I make my female followers (r u ready for me Lydia? lol) pregnant? If yes, is all born kids will be girls? Yes, this can be used for male PC, and kids will be ~ 50% male and 50% female.

If yes, is all born kids will be girls? Right now in my current play I play as male, and it works fine. But dont make all females pregnant. And the "children" are as in real life random.

If yes, is all born kids will be girls? You can be male and use this mod. As for children being just Female, nope. It's mixed, you will grow to love them all. And if you only want your girls fallowing you and doing combat, then leave the boys at home.
LukeDuke Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Thank you all for your replies. Actually I think that's more realistic just as it is now (50/50 of chance for boys and girls), so no worries ;-) Thanks again. Great mod btw.. XD

LukeDuke Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Is someone using this mod with Hearthfires DLC together with ''RS Children'' mod? Are there any problems/bugs?

I don't want to keep dumping babies into the north sea until i have a son actually if you save an hour before the birth you can reload your game till a boy comes up. Saves on infanticide and guilty feelings. I noticed this while testing beast baby add-on for BF. LukeDuke, I run RS and I do not have any problems myself. I think that one or two users have had the children come out vanillia looking though.
DeepBlueFrog Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Another suggestion about NPCs being pregnant... maybe a compromise between the current system and mods like Knocked Up. How about just having a selection of NPCs already pregnant at different stages right from the start of the game? using the same system keeping track of pregnantNPCs but giving them a head start on the stage of pregnancy. Right now, NPCs slowly get pregnant over time as you encounter them, but in practice - visually - it looks like nobody is pregnant around you until suddenly NPCs start getting pregnant almost all at the same time. I know there is a chance some NPCs would be pregnant and done by the time you meet them, but it would increase visual diversity about NPCs if a random selection were already at 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester when you start the game.

I don't want to keep dumping babies into the north sea until i have a son I'm on it, but not in this release. I need a new type of menu option for that, Kind of a slider where you can scroll to the left for higher chance that it will be a boy, and sliding to the right for girls. Don't know if this is possible with the MCM Menu (creating own options) but I will try. If not, I will create a selection where you can select "Only boys", "High chance that it will be a boy", "Balanced", "Higher chance that it will be a girl", "Only girls" But this is supoptimal. The reason: Right now, the chances are like they are in real live.... and in real live the chances are around 52% Boy, 49% Girl... and this is how it is right now. When I create such options I have to make an option "natural" that only have a little difference to "Balance" Is someone using this mod with Hearthfires DLC together with ''RS Children'' mod? Are there any problems/bugs? I was using Hearthfires and RS Children for testing - no bugs found. Another suggestion about NPCs being pregnant... maybe a compromise between the current system and mods like Knocked Up. In the Beta thread some players said, that they don't like it when some NPCs are "initialised" as pregnant. BUT, you just gave me a nice idea. An MCM Option where you can enable/disable" this feature isn't that good.... most of the NPCs will be already initialized when the player finds this option and enables it. So this option must be set before the game realy starts. So,, my idea... What do you say, when a "pre config menu" is open, when you start BeeingFemale for the first time? In this menu you can set the most important options like "Enable NPC pregnancy when they are loaded for the first time" .... and some other settings. And for sure, I know, it's anoying when a pop up message pops up in the game intro... so after creating a new game, this option won't show up until the player selected his race. After closing the race window, the BeeingFemale Option window will open where you can set all the suff you want. DOn't think this is annoying because you just spend hours for creating a nice character. About the next release.... don't wait for it, i just found some bugs and it will take weeks to fix it (just kidding). The only thing I have to do are some translations and a nap. I realy wish I could have released it 5 hours ago.... but I have to go to bed now, and then I have to add the new MCM Options to the translation files (and including the rus translations Huili has posted) I just fixed some problems and added sounds to the new child skill window.... and fixed the "OK" button in the Info window (damn that was just a realy stupid mistake... I've forgot some " ... I spend hours finding the not existing "... well, but now it's fixed ^^)
DeepBlueFrog Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 A pre-game menu would be good. Thanks for considering that idea
milzschnitte Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 Btw, here are some ideas for BeeingFemale mods I'm planing on.... but right now I don't have the time for them. Midwifes Home: Somewhere in Skyrim a womanis walking around. She had the idea to build a house, where pregnant woman can come and let a 'doctor' take a look at the foetus health. The doctor can heal the foetus, too. And when a woman is about to give birth, a midwife will help her (healing her). For sure they will sell medicine like contraception fluid, wash out sperm essence, and some of the new "child calling scrolls". But at first you have to ask the Jarl to build such a house and you have to buy the place. The next step is finding some people for helping to build the house and for some charity.... Maye some people will give some wood, nails and stuff for free. Then you have to help to build the house step by step, too.... to decide what rooms are neccessary (like when you build a house in hearthfires). And the last step is finding some employees like a few midwifes, a doctor, high prist of mara, .... When everything is done, the "Midwifes house" will open... some random pregnant NPCs will visit the house. And at least there are some random missions like "A man just came here, his pregnant wife is lost in a cave, help her and bring her to us!"... or "Jarl Elisef need some contraception fluid, bring her a few bottles" I know, this sounds great and I think everything should be possible, but the time.... I had this idea since I started BeeingFemale 1 year ago. And my Level-Design knowleds aren't the best. I don't have an eye for details so I could need some help for such a project.
Vuulgar Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 An amazing mod, thank you for all the time and effort, I have had no issues with functions and kids generated. It has been a blast working on raising children as a follower. I do have a question, I am using RCOTs version but there is no RCOT specially for redguard so when my redguard character has her baby it had the vanilla kid mesh, can this be linked to an RCOTs human kid instead?

Speaking of midwife.... another idea would be to add a midwife with potions and spells in the Temple of Kynareth since it is a center for healing (or add the potions and spells to the healers already there...).
Treguld Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I have been thinking of the Idea of BF "specialty" shops for some time. Even thought about unique (voiced) dialogue. The shops would provide ingredients to finished products. I also thought of gathering quests the player could do for the shop to trade for items. Say like the shop makes a exclusive menstruation underwear and need Tundra cotton for it. Player brings in said amount for what ever item they are trading for. The underwear itself can last longer (more absorbent) than the standard; should the PC decide they would like those as well. I was not sure if anyone else was working on one, so I just kept that idea in the back of my mind. Voicing dialogues is no problem for me. I've done some sound work. Mostly like having my arrows say phrases such as "Wheeeeeee!" , "Kamikaze!", or "Ya-hooooo!" when released in a silly little voice (such as the cartoon characters The Chipmunks).
milzschnitte Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 BeeingFemale 2.4 released ... finaly! Again, I hope i haven't missed a file. There are still a few bugs I know, like the Translation Bug. The new System can't read the "Translations" that should display in the top left corner like all the debug messages, or the "... came inside ..." message. But I don't think this is important.
Cymoril Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Good work. But then again, say "Hello" to an old bug. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/35269-beeingfemale/page-63?do=findComment&comment=1091276
milzschnitte Posted March 1, 2015 Author Posted March 1, 2015 Oh, I haven't used the fix? >.< sorry, will reupload again, thanks. I also forgot to raise the contraception. The reuploaded version will have the raised contraception (small potion will add 20% instead of 9%, and the medium will add 40% instead of 15%. The high contraception fluid in the Basic AddOn Pack will give 70% instead of 40% //Edit: reuploaded
JDough Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Hi Milzschnitte, thanks for the update. Changer Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 is it safe just to overwrite from 2.2b? or do we have to do a "clean save"?
