Vuulgar Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Wow....this mod has become even more awesome. I hadnt been using pregnancy mods for a while because they seemed to go nowhere but you have certainly solved that and I wanted to comment on this part of the mod as I dont feel you are giving yourself nearly the credit you deserve for the child generated after birth. I am using RCOTS and the patch and these seem to work flawlessly (there are a couple of names not in english from RCOTs but big deal) If you choose actor before pregnancy the child comes as a smaller version of the other kids in the game but is fully follower functional and amazingly will equip any armor its weight restriction allows (15 to start) so I gave her a light weight tunic and boots with a bow. The only problem I saw with the armor is if its not kids armor they will look like a mini adult, easily worked around by armor choice even if you dont have kids clothes available (she equipped mod armor also to be clear) At this point my "daughter" and I ventured out to start killing. I figured out trolls work well since my PC is tough enough to take hits from them for a while with heals and she could shoot the for a long while with their regen, and I ended up getting her several levels quickly. The simplified skills/perks stuff is very nice, allowing you to custom build your child follower. I would honestly love to see this added to some adult followers as it makes for a nice side game building them exactly how you want. In a perfect world it would be a mod that kicks in at their current stats as the follower joins you and builds from there....but I am losing the point. Also I began to wonder how she would learn spells so I gave her a couple of novice books (sparks and heal) to which she responded by opening a book and beginning to study. After a long wait she played a bit with a glow in her hand and then seemed to be able to use them magicka permitting. Anyway, all in all, very fun and a great job making it all work so well. Things I have noticed and thoughts on some of the process.... - A list of known spells would be very helpful on her info/powers page - there are a bunch of resist fire stars on her perk tree and no resist anything else so I assume some of them are something different or supposed to be something different - I would love to have a stats breakdown, especially comprehension...what does it do? And if I give her enchanted items is there a way to see the childs total values ( I cant tell if any of the items are helping her) - After she was born the child says "youre the best, will you be my mommy?" and continues to say it instead of using the after adoption lines that call you momma/papa - At birth she was a full size kid but shrank I believe the first time I zoned, not a problem to me, just noting it - I tried Jaxonsz renamer and it worked on one kid but on another save it changed her name but eventually added the Dova last name back after a bit, also after zoning I think - the last thing is a very odd one, immediately after birth I began to see a small light blue square appear around my PC. It would flash every 10 seconds or so and seemed to be related to the childs position. I saw no issues caused by it and I either got used to it or it went away after a while. Once again, just noting it. I was also thinking about the birth to adventurer change as an immersive item...what if all births end in a baby object which is then taken to an npc of some sort for care and training over some game time, the player could get a letter saying the child was ready to go. This would give explanation to the story and might offer a way to transition to a teen eventually, like take the battle hardened child to the Greybeards for training. Sorry for the long post....I got excited...... With Amazing Fallower Tweak you can custom build your fallowers, even teach them spells, and have them heal you when your health falls bellow a certain %. Edit add: and it even works with the kids Hmm I use AFT but I got no choice to manage, I was actually having some trouble with it recognizing a basic orc follower of mine the other day also. Might have to work on that and see what happens, but as far as other followers go, I liked the visual interface and earning points as they leveled as a kind of mini-game to build. Thanks for the info.
Guest zikko Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I've noticed this is not compatible with immersive gender change, as in I still have beeing female power after registering as futanari. Would be nice if you would fix it. No pressure, just suggesting.
Chadraln Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Does it work with RS Children? It does work with RS Children, though is currently not lore friendly as far as I can tell. There have been a couple of Redguard women who have given birth in my current game, and the kids look like Nords. Someone will probably need to create a plugin to allow BF to take advantage of RS Children's races.
DeepBlueFrog Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Would you consider adding ModEvents to control the pregnancy of some npcs. I have several ideas across multiple mods where I could use a way to force an npc directly to a 2nd or 3rd trimester pregnancy.
ecobotstar Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 So I use RS Children with this mod but when the child are born their face doesn't look right, They face looks like default nord face which is not very nice. I guess because this mod isn't really support with RSC. Now I'm waiting for someone to please make RS Children addons. Here's hoping

There is no faceGen Data.

smelystuff Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Hi! I love this mod. Thank you for your hard work, I can tell it's a labour of love. Anyway just a quick post about the widget not appearing issue, apologies if it's been sorted now, but when I looked a week or so ago it seemed to be a problem for others too. I have no idea if this will help track down the cause, I know very little about modding, but in my current game the widget appears when I press the default key *8, even if I change the key in the MCM options to another key. However, the widget only appears if I have iHud installed and active, and I've linked the "active widgets" to it. I usually remap the key from 8*, it was only because I'm playing a mage this time and I've a spell hotkeyed to 8* that I noticed the widget appearing. Still it's good to know where I am in my cycle while fighting bandits I realise this may not help at all and I do use a lot of mods so it may be a bizarre side effect of a number of mods conflicting with each other. I use SkyUI, E2C dialogues, better message box controls, Categorise Favourites, iHud, and Less Intrusive Hud 2. I think that's all I use that just affect the interface. I do hope this helps and thank you again

Also, I ran into that paused timer again, when impregnated by the Estrus Chorus, when done, the cycle I was on went from 12 days to well over 100 days till next cycle. I would rather it didn't pause the cycle at all.

Like it doesn't remember it's been moved or something.
milzschnitte Posted February 9, 2015 Author Posted February 9, 2015 Greetings all, wow that was a lot to read and I'm glad to hear that much feedback, ideas, reports and Plugins (Great work Treguld!). Sorry that I was away that long but I wasa realy ill the last weeks ago. I still don't have any voice. If you want to optimise your chance of multiple babies, do you have to pull the slider to the left or to the right? As already answerd and noticed, it's a different direction. That's because the chance is normaly spelled in 1:85 (1 of 85). So I decided to keep the correct spelling. But the Menu Framework don't like inverted direction. For sure i could calculate another display, but I forgot this. Sorry. But I don't think this is that important.... I hope... Apologies in advance if that was already suggested... In the same spirit as the mod Knocked Up, it would be nice to have an add-on for Beeing Female that would set a few women in advanced stages of pregnancy right off the bat. Seren in Dawnstar is a prime target as she is expecting already in the vaniilla game. I don't mean something as randomized or elaborate as Knocked Up but a few, handpicked NPCs would be nice to have. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57693/? I also thought about that. Maybe somedays I will do it with a bunch of other changes. There was a plan to make BeeingFemale not as a SexLab Mod. So you don't need SexLab anymore (there are some ppl out there who don't like sex in games, but like pregnancy mods). There would be a SexLab AddOn for sure! But you can become pregnant when sleeping in your bed next to your husband (or your wife can become pregnant when sleeping next to her)... same to NPCs. But the time hasn't come and it's just an brainstorming idea. When this will be made, the NPC registration will be renew, too. About the already pregnant vanilla NPCs. In Beeing Female the pregnancy will end some days. What should happen then - they will still say that they are pregnant, even when the BeeingFemale pregnancy is done Good job, great mod. I'd like to report a bug that I found. When I was testing 'washing out sperm' to see how it works, I found out that no matter how long the sperm is present in the body it will always be washed by potions. It seems that game doesn't take into account the setting of 'sperm age' im mcm (the maximum age of sperm that can be washed out). If I set it to 0 hours or if I wait until age of sperm in body exceeds the age set in mcm, which should make the sperm unwashable, the potions will still clean everything, Also I've been testing the effectivness of sperm cleaning potions. Actually what is bugging me is how does Anti sperm essence safe zone option from mcm work with potions. Potions have 60, 75, 100% removal. If I set Anti sperm essence safe zone to 0% potions won't work at all and that is how it should be. But if I increase it by 0.5% potions start to work but it feels as if they work too well. I tested 0.5% on 7 sperms present using 100% removal potion and I needed 2 potions to be completly clean(tried it couple of times), 75% removal potion worked just slightly worse. Anti sperm essence safe zone should decrease the chance that all sperm will be washed out. The way the math works bugs me, if someone knows please explain. I'm using BeingFemale with Defeat mod and I'm trying to tweak the setting to make the unwanted pregnancy a possibility. Thanks for the complete report. I will take a look on it. Maybe I've done something wrong in the calculation. Well as much as Epona loves all her babies. It is difficult to carry the infant "effigies". Hating to put them in a box, barrel, or ground. I came up with this.... BabyCradles.png BabyGirlsCradle.png BabyBoysCradle.png BabyBoysSafe.png BabyGirlsSafe.png I put it in the Temple of Mara. I felt they would be "safe" there while Epona is busy adventuring with the older versions of the babies. Realy realy great work! I like it! What I would like to know, is how to reset 1 NPC, Not all, was playing with a random sex mod before updating this one, and it still took, even after a reset all NPCs. Just to be sure they would all be "clean". My character is too powerful in attacks to try to force an abortion on the parent. And there is no options to make the NPCs to take any kind of birth control that I can find in Dialog... Also, this mod was finally successful in being compatible to Estrus Chorus and other mods that I have. 0 reported conflicts by this mod. Edit add: 109 Mods at current, looking at a few more. Right now - there is no way to reset 1 NPC. The problem is/was that it can be, that they are already loaded in the current cell. When they have the "BeeingFemaleAbility" her current progress is stored in this Ability and there is no 100% save way to gain access on this stats. So you have the stats stored in StorageUtil and in the BeeingFemaleAbility. Resetting the NPC will only reset the StorageUtil stats, not the Ability stats. When the NPC is updating or unloading, the stats will be rewritten in the StorageUtil ...... it's a bit complicated But I will take a look, what I can do to fix this. Wow....this mod has become even more awesome. I hadnt been using pregnancy mods for a while because they seemed to go nowhere but you have certainly solved that and I wanted to comment on this part of the mod as I dont feel you are giving yourself nearly the credit you deserve for the child generated after birth. This would give explanation to the story and might offer a way to transition to a teen eventually, like take the battle hardened child to the Greybeards for training. Sorry for the long post....I got excited...... About the Spell-List - yes your absolutly right. This is something I need still need to add. I thought about a new Tab in the Training Menu (or how ever I should name it ^^ still don't got a name for this new menu) But creating the Tabs is a bit complicated, but I will find a way. Another problem will be, the list. I don't have that much space in the menu so it must be a scoll-able list to keep the overview. Those list don't exist in the Autodesk Framework (skyrim menus are based on) so I have to develop this list first. This is realy complicated. The resists are a mistake. I'm not sure, but I think I've fixed it in the Beta.... but I realy don't remember right now. Those are all different element resists, just the name is displayed wrong. Comprehension is a stats of the type "Magic" (like all stats on the left side). As higher the comprehension as faster the kids will learn new spells, and it raises the success rate of learning higher level spells. I will write something about the stats in the opening post. I'm trying to fix the "can you be my mommy" dialogue - but this is way difficult as expected. Behind this there is a ActorValue (like those you can modify with the cheat 'player.modav carryweight ....' - It's called Variable06 and Variable07 - This actorvalues are also used to check internal skyrim events and things. The problem is - exectly the same variables are used in Vanilla Skyrim (withoug any DLCs) to check "NPC reaction to this NPC" .... I've tried to fix it, but after that, all NPCs attacked the children without any reasons.... all NPCs... Guards, Friendly NPCs like Alvor, the Jarls, .... realy all NPCs attacked the children and the childs just ran away. This is one of my current main problems. The rename thing is something I'm still working on. When I find some time, I think I can create an own renamer - that's not realy complicated, but it cost some time. the blue square are an emitter fail I made sorry for that, I'm not good in creating models or emitters - The bad thing is - i don'T even know what emiter this was The idea isn't realy new to make a growing child that grows from a "Baby Item" to a "Child-Actor" .... but there are some problems that would cost to much performance and will raise bugs and that's why I haven't create that. One of the problems is, that the items are unloaded aslong they are in the inventory. There are ways to check the babys but as I said, this would ocst performance. Would it be possible to put the wash out fluid/contraceptive fluids into general stores since in real life you could easily get contraceptive methods from store shelves. There was a time I had them in the stores, so you can buy them. But some players didn't like it and asked me to remove them again. Maybe someone can create a mod to add them - or maybe I will add a "Cheat" option to enable/disable this feature. Would you consider adding ModEvents to control the pregnancy of some npcs.I have several ideas across multiple mods where I could use a way to force an npc directly to a 2nd or 3rd trimester pregnancy. I'm not sure if the current published Beta already got them inside, but yes, I can, it's planed and there will be some more mod-events raised and fetched by BeeingFemale. There are some simple ModEvents (= sender.SendModEvent(str, float, form) ) and some advanced using the ModEvent.psc where you can create your own sended argumens like ...(Form, Form, float), ...(Form, string, string Form, Float, ...) and so on. Hi! I love this mod. Thank you for your hard work, I can tell it's a labour of love. Anyway just a quick post about the widget not appearing issue, apologies if it's been sorted now, but when I looked a week or so ago it seemed to be a problem for others too. Vuulgar Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 After coming back and reading I hope you dont interpret anything I said as negative, this is an amazing mod...I cant imagine being able to create something so complex. I appreciate all you have done and am in awe it works so smoothly. Some changes or no changes, I will use and recommend Beeing Female on pretty much every play through. The things I mentioned are very minor.... Oh and sorry to hear of your illness, hopefully all is better now.
Airianna Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Sorry to hear you been ill, glad you are back, and hope you fully recover soon, as that is priority over anything. Personally, I would rather keep it involved with Sexlab, as in RL you can't have kids if you don't have sex, or with the use of modern science, this game brings out more realism that I enjoy in a game... Untill the bug is fixed with pausing and extending the cycle/pregnancy when using Estrus Chorus, I will have no choice but to disable egg laying... which I found fun to lay the eggs in town, and a few days later come back and the town folk going crazy trying to kill the baby chorus bugs.
Uncle64 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I like the idea of have one version that not use sexlab. Since you already have in the game that when you sleep in the same bed as your Spouse you get lovers comfort. So why not. It is one good idea.
Treguld Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 I personally like the Sex Lab version of beeing Female. However, there are some folks who "know" the mechanics of procreation.... they just don't want to see it. Everyone has their preferences. I believe that if you can cater to both preferences its all good. milzschnitte It is so good to see you about. I'll be more glad when your 100% recovered. I know how hard it is to do things when your ill. Thank you for your compliment.
Fredfish Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 ... I can tell it's a labour of love ... Nominates Smelystuff for worse pun of the year so far
Airianna Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 ... I can tell it's a labour of love ... Nominates Smelystuff for worse pun of the year so far I would 2nd that... IF, that pun was intentional....
megusta Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Just a thought. Would it be possible to know, or show, which npc/mob impregnated the character in the future? Or in pregnant section, 'You are carrying XXX's baby" sort of the thing.
userdude Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Just a thought. Would it be possible to know, or show, which npc/mob impregnated the character in the future? Or in pregnant section, 'You are carrying XXX's baby" sort of the thing. I second ,this one.... this is a great idea ,! Has it been planned , as part of a diary ?... How about , giving the sperm name, with the fist name, when the child is born ?
Thelargir Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 This has probably been mentioned before, but there is a mod called "grow up in skyrim" which simulates aging through the leveling system. Perhaps that could be made to work with your children from this mod, so that eventually you can have combat effective followers? It could probably be modified to be based on time spent in skyrim instead of leveling. It also makes for some cool roleplaying possibilities.
Airianna Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Just a thought. GREAT IDEA! I been thinking about that myself. Also, got a bug that bugs me, even with Estrus Chorus pregnancies disabled, it's still pausing BF's monthly cycle. Just let the BF cycle to continue, ignoring Estrus Chorus' pregnancies. would be the easiest way around that... Just a note, to let users know not to use both with the same scaling or it will cause shape glitches. (so far, this bug has kept me from being able to get my character to give birth.) While talking about bugs... The 2 girls just inside Dragon Reach, the cleaning girls, can't seem to remember they are pregnant. Would this happen to be a papyrus limitation that I am running into? No doubt there are more that can't seem to stay pregnant as a result. Got an NPC pregnant, had a child, cute kid, added RS Children so the armors would work with it, but right after installing, when casting a spell, the kid said "oh you are a wizard..." I need a way to remove that dialog trigger as a separate mod. Modded the drow armor set, and Appachi wigs so my child could wear them as well.
_Maverick_ Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 So.. when the child is born what happens with it? I read in the OP that it doesn't grow into a child which is a real shame because this would be an absolute 10/10 in my books the idea of ACTUALLY starting a family is something I really wanted since i first started playing
Destynova99 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 So.. when the child is born what happens with it? I read in the OP that it doesn't grow into a child which is a real shame because this would be an absolute 10/10 in my books the idea of ACTUALLY starting a family is something I really wanted since i first started playing It depends on what you have the birth option set to. You either give birth to a baby soulstone, an item (baby that never grows into a child) or an actor (child). Currently there's no giving birth to a baby that later grows into a child... and children do not currently grow into adults. So if you want a child that will follow you around, set the option to "actor", and if you want a baby, set it to item. If you just want to harvest your baby's soul into a soulgem... choose soulgem.
