So I installed the mod, I believe I did so correctly. I ran FNIS after turning it on, I have all the required mods, but every time I try to get them into poses I dont even get the blue tint or the animations, please someone do help.

Hello there, i wanted to ask about the development of this mod. I saw from your blog that you are re-creating this mod for special edition and also noticed some new furniture and stuff introduced there. Will these or any other updates be used in this mod, the one from the normal edition of the game?

I really like your mod and would hope to see many other mods use it like they use zaz. Except from your great objects and animations you created, i really really like that this mod is can have 2 npcs interact with an object at the same time, like the chair were one npc is locked in the chair and the other npc is sitting on the one locked in the chair. That is great and i hope that you add many other interactions like that to your objects, i believe your mod is maybe the only one or one of the few ones that have that kind of interactions.

is there a limit to how many npc's you can have enslaved in an interior? i have somewhere in the ballpark of 12 or 13 in a large house mod but whenever im in that interior the game isnt very stable and will crash after 1-10 minutes. ive tried switching to different interiors multiple times and after switching the previous interior seems to be stable again leading me to conclude it has to do with the npc's ive got bound in there. The other thought i had is it could be the specific npc's i have in there, as i have a couple of the vampires from castle volkihar restrained there from after the assault as a dawnguard member. Anyone run into any problems such as that? other exteriors and interiors are usually pretty stable. Only the one where i have DM2 bound npc's is consistently unstable.

EDIT: Also, what is technically the proper way to use the reset mod option in the MCM? does everyone have to be released first or are they fine staying as they are. Im trying to see if it will work as a solution to my problem

 

EDIT: I seem to have a thing for posting a crashing problem and then finding a fix some time after posting the problem. Updating racemenu from 3.3 to 3.4.5 seems to have done the trick. I was using 3.3 with a current version of NiOverride (3.4 as suggested on the download page) so i never gave it much thought that it was the problem. I was also reluctant to update racemenu because ive had problems in the past updating it. Figuring that it was the only possible thing that could be causing the crashes i gave it a go and it seems to be stable thus far. If this changes though ill be coming back to this thread.

The bondage furniture and amulet are from this mod. The chastity cage is another of darkconsole's mods, here.

 

Not sure about the body, skin, hair, lighting, textures, ENB etc.

If there is NOT a "Yes" next to the "Special Edition Compatible" line then the answer is that there is NOT an SE version.

 

That's not a hard rule since some people may have made a compatible version and posted it elsewhere which happens a lot for mods where the author has been long gone from here.

Why does that specific file get overwritten by USLP? I don't know. Why does a single behavior file render an entire set of animations unrecognizable? I don't know. I would suggest to the mod author that maybe they add a description and fix of this specific conflict into the mod's description if someone else encounters the same problem? I'm fairly sure the USLP is a fairly common used mod nowadays.

 

 

 

1st - Thank you darkconsole for this great mod - this is my 3rd or 4th time coming back to Display Model and there is really nothing as good IMO for what it does :D

 

2nd - Thanks Sangheilitat for this post it enabled me to save a lot of time and keep display model in my load list for latest setup I am playing around with.

 

@darkconsole - I think you should probably add a note about "meshes/actors/character/behaviour/0master.hkx" on the description as it does seem to lead to conflicts.

 

I was having CTD on new game / qasmoke with my setup and tied it down to display model by unticking the "new" mods 1 by 1. After searching "conflict" in this topic I quickly found the post about this hkx file - checked and saw that the mod "momo acrobatic jump" was over-writing FNIS version. Letting FNIS win the conflict on this file immediately stopped the CTD with both momo + display model loaded but the acrobatic jump no longer functions.

 

I think a note that there is potential for incompatibility with any mod that replaces the FNIS "0master.hkx" such as Momo acrobatic jump would save time if anyone else runs into this in the future.

 

Needless to say I'll be sticking with display model instead of back-flipping ;)

@darkconsole, your mod is really good. Could you please implement the following features in next release(s) to make it even better?

- select and change poses from a list which opens by a hotkey (you mod have impressive amount of animations so selecting them from a list could be a more convient than switching one by one via "shout" and "sprint" keys)

- make it available to use objects from ZaZ Animation Pack Plus in your mod

Awesome mod, I love it works well in RPing.  I am attempting to create my own mod and would like to use your doll stands, however, some earlier testing, when I go to place a doll stand in my mod I have noticed my cursor changes to the the crossed out red circle telling me I can not place the doll stand.  So my question is am I doing something wrong.

Update,

 

 I have been trying to solve this issue but no matter what I do I can not get the doll stands to stay in my mod.  I can place them, even though I get a crossed out cursor, meaning the normal point arrow with the tiny plus is now covered with the red circle with the red line through it.  This is the same as if I were to place a ore node, the ones you mine ore fragments from, in the game.  However, those will save in the my mod but the doll stands do not.  They disappear regardless of being saved.  Any help to get them to stay in my mod and be usable would be great.

High heal offset doesn't seam to work with devious device boots.  Would it be possible for future versions of this mod to let you manually control the offset?

Someone asked in 2018 without getting an answer but:

 

The Dialog isnt working in Enderal (I did not fail to have the Amulet in my inventory). Is it possible to provide a patch for Enderal?

(I highly prefer enderal over skyrim so switching back is not an option)

Is there a way to get NPC’s to stay in the placeable furniture? I can get them in with the “I need you to do something...” dialogue line, but after that ends they will get out of it. Is there a way to make them stay in it permanently?

Will this mod ever be converted to SSE? Or has it already been done manually by one of the many fans of this mod? If its been done could you please explain how you converted it to SSE. I know you would need Creation Kit and NIF optimizer amongst other things. I love this mod it just sucks badly that its not on SSE :(. I am just truly hoping theres a god out there who could tell me how to do it! Thanks have a great day, keep making amazing mods!

Not quite a conversion in that context, it's a whole other mod like soulgem oven 4. I heard that someone was able to convert THIS mod with that method to SE but the creator... thy-self is remaking it to SE from the ground up.

dunno if this is still watched/upkept, but I have hit an issue. The last 2 times I started a new game, the mod is shown as loaded/active on my plugins list and no fnis errors. However there is no mcm menu and when I have control amulet I only get the initial "come with me", the npc responds then walks away. I engage again and only get the same 1 dialog option. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
