Just as a little experiment, can you try the high security slave boots? 0xXX017CA2

I say this, because they use the exact same script as the rubber doll boots.

 

It would certainly be a big clue, if they were also broken.

Hi all,

 

Kimy thank you for such an awesome mod.   I have been perusing through this forum in attempt to find some answers but can not seem to find exactly what I am looking for, so right now I have two questions if anyone can answer.

 

1)  What customization options are you supposed to have for the dominant follow, current I only have three under the dominant follow tab in MCM.

 

2)  Second anyone know of list what keys unlock what restraints.  I managed to figure out the Chasity Belt of Misogyny needs 3 body restraint keys, But for the life I me I can not figure out the heavy shackles that Leah insists on always locking me in.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Thanks again for such a great mod.

 

Also, just starting to encounter blacksmith saying they will unlock me but nothing happens,  I get the upper left text that says so and so unlocks your restraints but nothing happens.

He told me that the regular DD boots do work for him and they also use the same script. So we're pretty sure that his DD isn't broken and that his problem is with DCUR.

I'm pretty sure that the shackles you get aren't meant to be removed by the player.

 

When you ask the blacksmith to unlock you, are you sure that it's this mod that's doing that? Because there are many mods that have a feature like that. What's the dialogue option you get?

Well thanks for responding you raise a good point, I just assumed it was this mod.  I figured since my hands are restricted I would not be unable to unlock the heavy shackles myself. When I ask the blacksmith I have two options in the first dialogue screen,  The first one I have seen and it is something about "I have been locked in these....." this is the dialogue option I believe is from DCL, the other option is "Can you help me out of these." which I believe is from another mod,  The second option always gives the "Sorry I can't help you" response.

 

The first option which I have seen when I only had DCL installed gives the responses of "Sorry, I have no idea how to unlock those." or "You poor thing let me see what I can do"  or " You poor thing let me see if I can unlock one or more"  not completely sure on the latter half of that. 

 

This is my fifth restart, I just recently crossed over to MO2, and I love the VFS of it, keeps my vanilla folder nice and clean, I came over from NMM so I know the first response in the dialogue option works.

 

I believe the heavy shackles are one of those restraints that you have to have the keys for but a NPC has to unlock you, like the blacksmith.  Just not sure when the item description says it uses standard restraint keys, what is meant by that description,  I assume based on MCM options stand restraint keys are the chastity key, restraint key and piercing tool while hand restraint key, head restraint key, body restraint key and leg restraint key are the non standard keys, though with AddItem mod I have seen high security restraint key and master key.

 

Just wondering I need to move DCL in my load order.  I have MO 2 sorting it.

1) You are seeing it all. Other mod was made to expand on the options: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/7700-more-xdff-rules-for-deviously-cursed-loot-version/

But i recommend trying Devious Followers instead: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/82710-devious-followers-20-december-2018/

 

2) There are many restraints in DCL and other mods that player cannot remove. They are timed or scripted by some other mechanics, so you need to live by those rules.

 

By the way, there is a 3rd option to dominant followers; Sasha from Dollmaker. Her behaviour is unique, unlike Leon or Leah. But beware, it might be hard to escape her rule over you ?

I guess the MO2 sorting IS some kind of LOOT version too, but in my experience the order it makes is different than the separate LOOT, and you don't see the "deep analysis" of various problems there might be.

All the regular ballet boots work and surprise surprise, the high security slave boots 0xXX017CA2  don't work either, they have exactly the same problem;  which is still with dcur so you are both right.

Edit - still waiting for a debug log to be recorded so that I can post the thing here. How long do you have to play before it saves one?

I'm sure that the timed chastity belt that some misogynist will apply to my PC, when she tells him to take a hike, is meant to be really frustrating, but is there any way of preventing its appearing as a 'valid' device in game, ie in can it be disabled in one of the MCM settings?   As far as I can see, I have every reference to the application of belts disabled, yet this one still appears as if by magic.  If there is no specific MCM option that will disable it, will it still appear in other scenarios, even if Misogyny itself is disabled?

When you have the logs enabled, it will generate a log everytime you start the game. It doesn't matter how long or what you do, It will generate a log when you have it enabled.

Make sure that all settings in the .ini are correct.

Also, depending on what mod manager you use, you may need to make sure you're editing the correct .ini file.

Here is the log,I hope it means something to you.  This was created using a new game and a new character called "Shannon". I saved and quit shortly after the quest broke.

I have my doubts that you didn't remove old versions of DCL or DD when you installed the new ones. There could be scripts that are no longer compatible. And the issue with NMM is that all mods put their stuff in same scripts folder... You don't even know what to remove now and might have to clean and reinstall almost absolutely everything. That's why MO2 is so much easier to deal with, each mod has their own folders and you know what belongs where.

I've come across an odd game-breaking bug where i got the whore collar put on me and shortly after, ALL hostile humanoid npc's became friendly to the point where even attacking them didn't trigger combat. Even after i got out of the collar, they still were that way. I reloaded an old save but I was wondering if anybody had any advice to avoiding this otherwise I may not allow the whore collar to be worn again.

Good point, I will take that on board. I think the cause of the issue I am having with DCL right now is likely down to a missing script that may have been taken out by NMM at some point when 7.4 or 7.5 was installed.

If you install 7.5 (from NMM!) there is all the scripts that it needs. The mod does not require earlier versions, as i said before, some older ones may even conflict with eachother if installed overlapped. If you install a mod manually, NMM cannot know which file belongs to what mod and it leaves them untouched (which is bad).

 

But i was curious about it and checked in MO what it says about overlapping files. I know now that 7.5 version will 100% overwrite 7.2, 7.3 and 7.4 at least.. didn't go older than that. They didn't have any extra files. Do you remember ever having DCL older than 7.2 that might still be installed?

Yes, I thought that. The first one I think refers to the dress of shame which doesn't equip, the second is the rubber doll boot.

I couldn't find either file in the dcl 7.5 download folder and I haven't got 7.4 or any previous version, is there a dcl archive somewhere?
