Trying to do the Rubber Arears quest and Im kinda confused.  The quest tells me the name and the 3 cities the person was last seen in.  No quest marker or anything.  Do I just have to fully search each city hoping i get lucky and spot the npc?  Where might they hang out in the city?  Just the inn or do i have to actually check each and every building (and during that time is the NPC moving, potentially to even a different one of the 3 cities sort of like the Imperial guard guy for the Dark Brotherhood quest)?

 

Edit: Well in one attempt I found the person in Winterhold near the "entrance" of the town but then failed that one because after the "travel scene" she just up and stopped following me until i ran out of time.  All my attempts after that have not included Winterhold and figured id check the entrance areas but no one (well no new npc) is around.

I think one factor for not seeing it might be wearing chastity belt or harness. The location shouldn't matter.

 

If you're testing dialog visibility, see also if [Restraints] shows up always. I may have started seeing it more often in recent patches but needs more testing. Especially on part where npcs want you to release them. Do they ever want that?

Also, the "not wearing armor only" option doesn't get checked in the dialog conditions, so you still get the option to solicit while wearing armor, which makes it a not very useful feature.

Hello, Kimy. I'm a big fan of DD series and I like your mods very much. DCL, DDx, DDi and so on. I know it was ‘xiaomiza’ who translated your mod into Chinese long ago. But he hasn't played skyrim for a long time. So I have translated your mods into Chinese since ‘xiaomiza’ left. I am very sorry I haven't formally applied for authorization. Sincere apology! 

Due to the limitation of Chinese network, a lot of Chinese players can't access loverslab. Registration validation cannot be completed even if accessible. The same to mega and I can't access Mega now. So we need to share your mod through other netdisks urgently. I've been looking for someone to help me share your mod with me during this period before I translate it. I hope you can understand us. I hope to get formal permission to translate and share your mods. Of course, I will mark the author and link to the corresponding page. If you can find the file, where it should be, and it looks good in NifSkope, it's possible the AA is getting mangled.

 

Some things can patch AAs in broken ways, for example, stripping the slots off them so they won't render.

You can always check by loading your whole LO in Tes5Edit and then inspecting the AAs for the dress to make sure they reference the model in the location you expect, and have the slots they should.

This is what I think the issue must be, as reinstalling both DCL and then expansion in case of files overwriting each other didn't work. What is the AA? I don't know Nifskope. If someone could tell me what files the dress of shame uses I may be able to edit with CK to fix it.

DCL 7.5 BUG REPORT:

 

• During the Captured Princess LAL, the NPC slaver in the basement of Bee and Barb (Little John or whatever his name is) is standing up static instead of passed out on the floor, running FNIS fixes this sometimes but not others, no idea why... used to always work fine in DCL 7.4 I think, maybe the version before.


• After purchasing Sasha from Dollmaker and having her follow the player, after she has been dismissed (Parted Ways) I can still see dialogue options when I talk to NPCs for Selling Sasha's Body even though she is no longer with the player.  If you select the option the NPC either accepts or rejects but either option does nothing.

• As with previous versions of DCL, I think I've reported it before... Dollmaker Arrears Quest won't complete, she does not acknowledge the fact that the wanted NPC is in the shop and quest cannot be completed, sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't for me.

 

• Stilleto shoes don't seem to fit the CBBE legs 100%, there is a small gap as if the ankle at the shoe end is bigger than the ankle at the end of the leg, I've tried bodysliding to fix this but can't seem to.  Other shoes from DCL (slave heels etc) and other mods work fine, bare feet are also fine.

 

• Slight clipping issue with breasts on the Slut Dress fishnet boob covers, probably to do with HDT but thought I'd report it anyway... it's very minor.

I am using latest versions of all DCL required mods and deploying via Vortex & Loot.

You can't miss it, it's all over the main town (surrounding the Bee and Barb), they are glowing blue piles titled "Sticky Gunk" or something like that.  Very easy to spot though.

After some searching i found a soloution if your garbage is INVISIBLE:

While standing at the barguy i got that im on queststage 50, but 60 is what you need to set!

setstage dcur_supplyquest 60 worked to skip the part. Quest does not show but if you talk to the guy in the bar he starts the next part

It would probably be a great help to Kimy if you could figure out why your garbage is invisible.

Or rather, whether it spawned or not at all, or whether your problem is due to the models not being rendered, or being rendered in an invisible way.

 

Perhaps this can be established by listing the quest variables in the console?

 

 

On a completely unrelated topic. Was just writing about mittens on DDi forum.

 

Mittens are so hot! Please more mittens in quests!

Hey Kimy, how are you doing? I got a question for something you could possibly change in this mod. Is it possible to give us a setting to change the volume level of the explosive trap?I've been playing with this mod for several years now watching it grow and that has been the only thing I am not a big fan of with Cursed Loot. It scares the shit out of me each time. Ty Ty.

I deleted my previous post because the problem changed (kinda).

Originally the problem was that after the Chloe quest, the idle animations for a character in shackles was not going away even after being freed by the dollmaker. So I tried to install new idle animations and it works! I have normal idle animations now but walking/running animations are not being changed even when I try installing new ones, so my character now has proper idle animations but shackled running/walking animations.

Did anyone experience this problem before? Any ideas?

You cannot reliably re-FNIS a game in process, except to add animations. It's a bit like adding mods, yet technically completely different.

 

Most (not all) mods include animations via properties on the script, and once the ESP is loaded and the scripts instanced, you cannot change anything. If the FNIS is wrong to start with, it will always be broken.

 

If you screwed up your FNIS, you should probably start a new game.

That's a shame, I really wanted there to be a fix for this as I have put in quite a bit of time into this save to drop it suddenly. I don't think I did anything wrong with the installation either to be honest, it's just the quest acted odd when it came to this specific animation.

You can always just put up with the broken animation.

 

Sometimes FNIS behaves strangely if running in a situation where you have a previous FNIS.

It is safest to always file redirection and always FNIS to a clean directory from a clean FNIS install.

 

This ensures your FNIS install doesn't contaminate itself - otherwise, it does.

Sharing a FNIS installation in MO requires particular care.

If you're using NMM, I don't know why your FNIS would break.

I have been playing today with the option that cursed traps explode and drop worn items. It is fun'ish too and it has been working well until now. Then it happened that i was wearing a transparent catsuit when another trap hit. The catsuit fell on the floor as a box and i can't loot it back. Locked restraints shouldn't fly off, it's not how stripping function normally works.

Other rant; playing with MilkMod Economy the chastity bra is cruel. There is no way to reduce the chance of getting trapped by it, only possible to completely disable it.

I just went back to test the solicitation function with the whore collar and it's working fine now so I can't say what the issue was,. It may have been caused by a harness not unequipping properly when the whore collar replaced it. I'll check the restraints dialogue and see what happens (I usually leave that off).

I keep getting walk of shame instead of bounty options when i talk to guards after committing a crime or being caught having sex in public. I cannot find an option in the MCM to either have a slider chance of it occurring or to stop it happening altogether. it is getting very frustrating as the guards arent even offering the other options, ie have sex or put me in restraints etc. I updated to 7.5 and started a new game with it to test the issue. I dont use POP as its too script heavy anyway and havent used it in a couple of years so i know thats not the issue.

WoS is used by DCL in place where it formerly would hand over the player to POP, as support for that mod was removed in 7.5. Public Indecency is one of the DCL features that now use WoS instead of the vanilla crime system or POP. There is no MCM option to change that, as further changes to the criminal system are in works for the next DCL version.

if i understand correctly, WoS is now the only option? I have used a mod for ages called PaySexCrime which is great because it gives the option to pay bounty with sex instead of going to jail. so from what your saying the only way to turn off WoS is to turn off public indecency, which is not my preferred option. at the moment every time i get reported to the guards from solicitation it automatically puts me in the WoS outfit and gag regardless of where i am. i have had it happen in middle of road just west of helgen talking to a travelling merchant and had a long way to walk to either falkreath or riverwood searching for the key off an NPC. this was just after a new start using the camping spot from alternate start mod. i use Travellers of Skyrim to add merchants etc to the roads.
