Because it might be a lot of work and possibly abbandoning work on skyrim.

If you hire 100 other proggramers then i also dont worry about it, but this is small collective with a lot of work already.

At this time we have no idea whether or not TES6 will support modding, and if yes, if it will force modders to offer mods on a central platform that's 100% guaranteed not to allow adult content. If free modding will be a thing, you can safely expect a TES6 port of DD and DCL to happen.

For the second part - some custom followers are not detected by DCUL because they don't use the same system as vanilla followers.  I'm not sure there is much you can do about this with just the MCM menu, altho it shouldn't cause any real issues (these followers will just not be equipped with DD items on trap trigger).

I had this problem with some followers too, what I do is I manually add them to the follower faction in console, super simple. (addfac 5c84e 1, or 5c84d 1, I never remember which one) Of course also works for other mods that pickup followers like SD+

Thinking longer term, if we are setting up games now, are we likely to see DD Furniture etc appear as part of the present DD mod frameworks, or as separate frameworks requiring new esm/esp plugin slots? 

 

I have had games that have run for >12 months, and I'm sure some others will have the same - so it would be good to have some idea of what sort of updates we might at least try to plan for  ?  

 

Always acknowledging, of course, that nothing is certain and that the whole world might have to change tomorrow   :P

Based on this post I believe it will be a 4th plugin slot - so it may be advisable to have a dummy .esp take up a slot if you want an easier chance at updating to it without interfering with your load order.

I'm having in issue with using the Dollmaker as a keyholder. I think. I ran the one day duration as an experiment. I got a quest notification "I have a keyholder". After a day passed, I got a notification to go back to the Dollmaker to get my keys back. But when I speak to her, there's no option to request the keys.  Any hints or tips?

Check her inventory if she has any keys. (can just crouch at her dont have to pull out the nintendo)
Shouldnt be worth mentioning, if you didnt give her any keys, she doesnt have any (keys move to her when you find them during the quest too)

Last time i tried it worked, i also purposely tested it out, by giving her keys, checking she still has them, and then moved the time forward, she returned all of 'em.

Do the same to find out, if the problem will repeat, or we have no clue what had happend anyway

I'm trying to modify the "dcur_publicindecency" quest in this mod to achieve the following:

 

When an NPC calls you using mysoginy  ("Come here woman!") and you respond "I'm not your toy" instead of triggering a random rape (or random DD force-equip), I want to call the StartScene() function from Defeat (Defeatconfig script in DefeatResourceQst quest) with following parameters:

I get that my script is probably faulty at its logic, but what I don't get is why I'm getting errors from other dependencies. Do i need to add properties for all those mods in this script?

I have a small problem and a question. With the new DD 4.1 it seems like the hands of the bound NPC girls are out of the armbinders etc again. The mouth gags seem to work now, so the mouth will close when the gag is removed. The armbinders worked for me with the dev version.

 

Then the question. What is the difference between the setting of "Number of NPC's Slotted" (DDi / Events and Effects) and "Number of Bound Girls" (Dcur / Misc options)?

Number of NPCs slotted determines how many NPCs can be tracked by DD at once, in an area around the PC.

(Correct me if I'm wrong, the slotting is used only to cache NPCs close to the PC, so they can be updated efficiently and don't have to churn a cloak spell at a high rate).

 

If you have too many DD equipped NPCs near you, and exceed the limit, DD probably won't play the right animations for some of them.

 

 

Number of Bound Girls is how many DCL tries to spawn. If it thinks there are enough girls active according to the count, it doesn't spawn more.

If the count is less than the limit, it spawns more, up to the limit. I've suggested setting the default count to something like 2 to work around this for little effort, but perhaps that suggestion is misguided.

 

However, the counting seems fallible; though this is probably due to girls lingering after reducing the count in the MCM. DCL does not appear to actively remove girls above the limit, even if you can't see them. I'm not sure why.

 

In any case, this is only indirectly related to the DD slotting. The DD slotting cares how many NPCs are close by (I believe). You are unlikely to get more than four bound girls in one spot, even if the limit is 20. (Though YMMV).

excuse me, but i seem can not have this mod installed via NMM, actually i recently have problem with instailling anoy big-sized mod via NMM, i tried unzipping and rezipping then installing the new archive but it still won't work... there was not much of useful information fed back from NMM, it just said 'Deviously Cursed Loot // The mod was not activated. // Install // '....

Because I seem to be the only one with the problem of the bound girls and armbinders, I dropped the Number of Bound Girls to 10 and kept the Number of NPC's Slotted at the default 15. I will play some more and see if it fixes the problem.

After the link has finished navigating, paste the code number part of the link over the code number part that is showing in the URL in the browser.

This sometimes fixes a problem with redirects.

Microsoft's Edge browser seems pretty flexible about HSTS, so you could try that; but I download with Chrome, and it's quite strict, but have no issues.

Well... No issues that aren't fixed by manually fixing up the URL based on what's in the link.

 

Sometimes you may fix HSTS/URL mismatches by purging cached browsing data.

 

Firefox can definitely be told to accept a defective certificate, HSTS merely requires that you use HTTPS and doesn't mandate who signs certificate. If that cert is in your CA roots, it's valid. Firefox doesn't decide that, your OS does.

Sometimes browser have their ... days... whatever... Just use a different one. There is no harm in it, to use another browser on your computer.

To translate websites, I like to use chrome. It´s fast and comfy. To browse here, on Loverslab, I use a diffrent one. Just copy the link in your secondary browser and it will work.

 

btw: If Firefox is not doing the job, your personal settings are wrong.

Random bug I came across, I get put into a Defeat rape session by 5 out of 6 female NPCs surrounding me (for reasons idk why the 6th stayed out) but midway thru a 3some animation started by Defeat, the 6th girl came back & started a Cursed Loot rape event (didn't even know hostile NPCs were valid for this because in DCL, they're not) & she basically interrupted the Defeat animation, got another girl to start a 2nd Cursed Loot rape animation & they eventually caused Defeat to bug out & end incorrectly.

 

Point is, you might wanna look into making hostile NPC's invalid for Cursed Loot to call on for the rape feature like DCL or include a lockout during animations & other mod functions

Hm, when I ask Sasha to 'stop dominating me' inside cities, she just tells me to ask again when I'm not tied up - but when I go outside to where she removes the yoke/hobble dress, the only conversation option is to steal the key :(

No idea whether it has any influence on the problem, but she did not remove the ankle chains, and I'm belted (since I asked her beforehand to be my keyholder).

I don't know if Defeat is setting the suspend flag some LL mods are using for scenes like that, but if it's not doing that OR marking the scene as a vanilla Skyrim scene, it's very difficulty to detect scenes started by 3rd party mods.

It’s due to the option ‘interval of the cursed loot’(IDK the text in MCM, since I use an another language version). It is set an hour default, which means I have to wait an hour to trigger another cursed loot. 

And in this hour, the ‘stuck’ happens, maybe it will help u.

That might help some people, so it's worth bringing up, but it was not the problem I was seeing.

 

I would lose all DCL events for days, and they definitely didn't return of their own accord.

 

I haven't seen the problem since I started using 6.4 though. Might just be coincidence, might just be some other mod that was the cause that I don't have installed now, or might just have been something to do with the settings I was using. It could have been a lot of things, but what fixed it was FREE ME. Before that, if I turned on debug messages, I didn't see any on looting. None at all. After some FREE ME action, the debug messages showed up.
