Double-, triple- and quadruplecheck that ALL requirements and their requirements are installed. I had that problem once, and sure enough, after checking everything for the quadrillionth time, I had missed one requirement. Also, right-click on the error message "Could not activate this mod", choose "copy" and paste it into notepad. I usually tells you why it failed.

I'll try that, thanks, I looked through the requirements many times and it looked like i had them all.

 

Edit: I get Deviously Cursed Loot // The mod was not activated. // Install // when i copy and pasted the text, so i don't think that works, i'll just tripple check my stuff.

Surely it could. Why don't you do it? It's probably a soft start to learning modding, as all you have to do it get some items from one mod into a list in another.

Not sure if this was a bug or just an odd glitch. My character defeated some Alik'r (added by the Random Encounters mod). While looting the bodies she triggered a cursed loot trap. There was the flash! and bang! and her clothes flew off - including a pair of rubber gloves she had been locked in earlier. The rubber gloves were no longer visible on the character, and they appeared lying on the ground with her other clothes, (but they could not be picked up). But the rubber gloves also were still in her inventory and still showed as equipped, even though no longer visible. I then found that the rubber gloves in the inventory could simply be unequipped without the key or usual "try to escape" routine.

Can someone explain to me what does "Uh?" mean? Every time I speak with NPC and pick this line, they speak something about not getting away with this and put whole bondage set on me. Every time I choose this option. They keep putting dd on me untill slots are full.

It's an unfinished feature that got mistakenly added to the 4.0 compatibility release. Next version of DCL will have it completed or removed, and in the meantime you can either not click on it or use this unofficially patched ESP that removes it.

I also have the "Uh?" option. As I started playing again yesterday and use "Live another live", I suspected it involved that mod (which is silly now that I start to think about it). Dexes, thanks for the explanation!

Minor correction: The feature is complete, it was just missing a condition, and all the fix you linked does is make the dialogue only trigger when it should.

I'm not sure if this is a bug but it seems as though Sasha's collar (the one she places on player when dominant option is chosen) buffs the player regardless of the options selected in MCM.

 

Since she allows you to wear armor etc along with the collar this tends to make the player overpowered.

Data/CalienteTools/BodySlide/BodySlide[x64].exe, check Build Morphs (doesn't hurt doing so whether you use mods changing your body mid-game or not) and click Batch Build. Thanks very much - that seemed to work. Things are still not perfect, get some clipping in places. Think I installed unp instead of cbbe. Now that I've got a grip on all these mods I've missed over the past few years, I will probably uninstall and reinstall it again.

 

I'm waiting to get to a "clean" save point before doing that - no quests active and not wearing any bondage items.

 

Speaking of which, my character is stuck wearing the rubber doll collar, but has already completed the quest once. Is the quest repeatable - would certainly like it to be. But the collar doesn't seem to be expanding, the quest doesn't show as active, nor can the collar be removed. How can I restart the quest and/or remove the collar. The collar was placed on (2nd time) by an NPC

 

Seems that when all the mods are installed - the main challenge of the game is simply keeping out of bondage - going to have a lot of fun with this game. It's re-invigorated by interest in Skyrim. Thanks to all the modders that made this possible.

Bug Report - Combat Surrender

 

This isn't so much a bug as an odd side effect I've noticed Kimy, when using the surrender on disarm option. On a couple of occasions I've killed a wolf but the disarm happened as I killed it. So although it's dead (and no other hostiles are around) you still get the beaten until unconscious message and transported to an Inn.

 

Probably needs a check before the routine fires to check if there are any hostile NPC/creatures alive if that's feasible to do. Not something to spend a lot of time on though

I'm actually getting the opposite, Slorm :tongue: Sometimes the combat surrender mechanic fires and the camera shifts and I get healed to full... but at the same time my attack hits the target and staggers it. At which point the surrender cancels and I get to continue the fight with full health.

 

That's not what I came here to talk about though. I wanted to ask how all of you are faring with the newest DDI 4.0 and DCL 6.2.7? Because it's not working very well for me. Specifically, I'm having a really hard time getting out of restraints, because many of the escape mechanics that are supposed to be there... just aren't.

 

For example:

- Device comments won't fire, even if enabled (and me toggling it several times). So I cannot get keys that way.
- The yoke assistance dialogue doesn't show up. I am in a yoke, I have the correct key, but I am not given the option to beg someone for help.

- The bondage adventure dialogue doesn't show up. I'm supposed to be able to talk to tradespeople for a chance to get some restraints removed. But the dialogue chocie is nowhere to be found.

- Solicitation for keys doesn't seem to work. I can choose the option, but - who knows whether the speech penalty from a gag plays into it - everyone declines, usually with the same message ("too desperate"). I disabled critical failures and did a big test: fourteen times no success in a row, and all on targets well above the arousal threshold, at default rates in an inn (70% I believe).

- The "courier in chains" quest is either missing or discontinued. In my old instance I could ask someone to send me stumbling bound halfway across Skyrim for the privilege of getting my restraints removed; now, this seems no longer an option.

 

What still works is finding keys in containers. But that doesn't help you much once you get stuck in any form of yoke, because there's no way to ask someone to use the key to free you, and none of the direct device removal quests work.

 

So, ummm, yeah. I love tight bondage and desperate situations as much as the rest of you, but if my only options for escape are "cheat with the MCM, or reload an earlier save" it becomes kind of frustrating. :confused: Are you guys seeing similar things, or is something wrong on my end?

Okay so i found out an issue with my Deviously cursed loot when trying to activate it, which still fails, At first i was missing ZAZ animations however when i tried after installing that i get "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" And the mod was not installed... Please help me understand what's up with this?

Bug Report: Damsel in Distress quest

After escaping the cage, I managed to unlock the wrists successfully by selecting "unlock" with the rubber gloves, which gave me full use of my character's hands.  But I cannot now try to unlock the gloves themselves, as it keeps telling me I have to remove the arm cuffs first.  Only, there are no arm cuffs at all.  There are "Iron Shackles", which have no inventory graphic, do not have the default DD enchant, and cannot be removed or unlocked.

I used to get that a lot. Sometimes, if the enemies were pretty much dead anyway, I'd just ignore it.

Other times, if it wasn't a close call, I'd hit the surrender key and fix it manually.

 

You'd think that when it refilled your health, the mod would flag the defeat, but there's probably a race condition in there that leads to it clearing the flag and then failing to apply the consequences.

 

I'm guessing this is a tricky area, because there aren't any defeat mods that don't miss defeats occasionally, and DAYMOYL gets into all kinds of broken bleedout loops.

 

 

Is it just me, or are all the DCL armbinders broken now?

I wasted hours yesterday trying to fix, but they remained thoroughly busted.

 

If I console an armbinder from DCL and put it on, it's bugged. When the pop-up appears to interact with it, it has the option to "put it on", along with the usual removal options.

DCL cannot ever remove the bugged item properly, even with FREE ME. Also, I have the 'arms out of binder with no hands' issue, as do all bound girls in pink binders. However, the animation can work correctly, if the binder is not a DCL binder (the pink one is from DCL, so it's broken on NPCs too).

 

If I use Tie Me Up, and DCL puts a non DCL binder on, it works correctly as expected, and I have my arms in the binder, and there's no broken option to put on the item in the interaction pop-up, and FREE ME works.

 

And also if I add them manually, non DCL items (armbinders that come directly from DD) work as expected when consoled.

 

I thought it was because I'd modified my DCL esp to fix Uh, and test mode, but even when I restored a pristine esp, (completely reinstalled DCL, twice), it still behaved exactly the same.

 

I blamed every other mod I had, and uninstalled basically EVERYTHING except what's needed for DCL, uninstalled all the loose scripts I had to build DCL scripts, and it was still happening. Well, uninstalled, I use MO, so I mean I deselected them, FNIS'd and started a new game, but I must have made a score of new games, whittling things down until I was left with nothing to remove, the reinstalled a new DCL instance and used that, reinstalled a new Zaz instance and tried that, reinstalled all of DD4 and tried that, and so on.

Now, I know there are some nasty pitfalls with FNIS and MO, but I also know exactly what they are, and so have a different FNIS install and output mod for every config I use. It's not FNIS, but it's always possible the CK wrote over something. I can't imagine what though.

 

So...

  • The armbinders in the DD expansion all work fine.
  • The armbinders in DCL are super-bugged, and get stuck on, broken, arms out, no hands, and have broken interact pop-ups.
  • The basic items included in DDassets don't have any scripts on (how could they?), and naturally, do not lock, or animate.

 

Maybe somebody can guess exactly what I have done wrong?

You'll notice that with this order (which LOOT made), I have to sort masters on DCL.

Taking out SexyMove was one of the first things I tried. I only put it in to begin with because DCL wants the scripts to build.

 

If, with the magic of MO, I swap out DD4 and DCL 6.2 for good old DD3 and DCL 6.1, re-FNIS, and new game, everything is fine.

 

After trying everything, I went through my MO with a fine-tooth-comb, and made duplicate installs of various things for different configs, so there was no chance of write-back contamination. Still couldn't fix this problem though.

I have question about The Silencer - gag and The Veil - blindfold can those items by equiped by cursed loot event? if not are they related with some quest? asking because yesterday my character equipped them randomly, I didnt even have them in it inventory.

These can be equipped by the "Heavy Head Restraints" event.

Two small requests:

  • Is it possible to change the method of release for the stip-collar? As in, you have to dance in multiple taverns to get released from the collar.
  • And is it possible to add a "being glad to be out of the dungeon" effect? Inside the dungeon you are not able to drop devious items. But when you go outside, you end up feeling a bit too cheerful and in a moment of yearning for another adrenaline shot, you lock some devices on.

Anyway, I still love this mod! I am curious how the next version will look like :smile:

I got locked in a chastity belt with 5 different locks. I think it was a slave belt. How am I supposed to get all those keys? The blacksmith couldn't help with it, so I had to reload.

That needs "body restraint" keys, they fall under rare keys from chests/bodies.
