When installing the extra Devious addons, my game refuses to load. Do I have to run Boddyslide and FNIS for them as well?

 

Bodyslide at least, yes.  FNIS, yes if they have any animations.

 

 

I meant to type SexLab addons, forgot they were almost two different mods...

 

As an experiment, I installed one of the other SexLab addons (SLAL and Eager NPCs), ran both tools and the game loaded fine. I'll try that with the others now.

if you crash before the main menu then there are missing requirements or you have too many esp (max 250esp possible)  active or a wrong loadorder.

 

if you crash on loading a save try to load it after you load one of the first saves, if you use aslal preferable a save out of the aslal cell.

 

also possible is that you have overloaded skyrim with too many heavy scriptet mods

 

 

I have maybe 50-60 esps going... 

 

 

 

 

 

50-60 esp is relatively small, i have there a much biger loadorder of atm 161 esp

so then possible the missing requirements, modconflicts, wrong loadorder or corrupt installations, dont think that you overload skyri mwith scripts by using only 60 esp

 

To identify missing requirements, grab a copy of TES5Edit and run it on your Skyrim install. It will tell you exactly which mod is missing during its load cycle.

Could you add an option so that quest events, like the cursed collar, rubber doll collar, living suit, etc. only trigger on boss chests?

I think it's a bit odd when I can find a powerful magic collar, or a living rubber suit, in a random barrel in Whiterun.

 

I did some digging in the papyrus reference, and I think you only need this condition:

if(chest.HasRefType(BossContainer))

Where BossContainer is a location ref type.

Now I appear to be locked out of some my skyrim mod folders, e.g. DD expansion, bodyslide, and others

with access denied messages/you dont have permission errors even though my account is administrator.

It is seriously affecting my skyrim game because a lot of the mod folders have gone read only making some of

my DD mods malfunction after using NMM to install/unistall/reinstall in the usual manner.

Does anybody have any workarounds or solutions?

I know it's really a Win 10 issue but it can happen to anyone and sometimes you get the best advice on here.

If taking ownership doesn't work, try running the compatibility troubleshooter on each of the executables for the various mods that use them (thinking of Bodyslide, for example, as well as TESv.exe.  In my case (using Win10 pro) the compatibility troubleshooter put compatibility as Win7 and I added "run as administrator".  The issues you are experiencing went away for me.

Try killing "igfxEM.exe" via the task manager. It is a part of the Intel Common User Software. I had the same problem some time ago. Its a known bug. There is also an update available, but many computers deny installing it because the manufacturers have own custom intel packages.

If that doesnt work, try downloading "process explorer". Its a better task manager that can tell you if and what process is blocking certain paths for write acess.

I found a temporary workaround by creating a new local user profile in win 10 then changing it to admin level in settings.

Using this account I accessed my main account and reinstalled the mods manually as NMM still wasn't able to fully install.

Hey folks. Absolutely loving this mod so far, though in a craving for more bondage I've also installed Deviously Helpless and disabled DCL's rape system. My only issue with that is that I no longer have access to that awesome 'hogtied somewhere in the middle of bumfuck nowhere' minigame, which was one of my favourite parts of DCLs system.

Is there a console command or something I could run in order to trigger that? I'd happily do it voluntarily after a DH scene, just to go through it again

 

 

EDIT: Also a suggestion - maybe in a future version you could incorporate a hogtie rope restraint which, when equipped, triggers the minigame (though probably without the random teleporting at that point)? There's already a hogtie rope asset in one of these mods, I've seen it used on followers while the player is being assaulted. That might do the trick?

Have you made sure you're running NMM as an administrator? That's where my problems turned out to be when I was struggling to get it working the first time around.

I don't know if it falls under this thread or captured dreams, but I can't seem to get the bondage pieces to work. When I  try for prostitution and they bound me up instead. They are invisible. The alpha is there but the texture seems to not be there.So when they put boots on me part of my legs are invisible.

Is there any instructions on how to use bodyslide for the mod? I am confused on how to use the bodyslide for it. I don't ever remember having this much trouble before with this in the past and having to deal with bodyslide.   oh well.

Hello Everyone

I seem to have a problem with Cursed Loot Rubber Doll Armbinders as the animation is not working. Currently, FNIS is current with the mods I have since I didn't add anything. Zaz the last time I check is precident to the devious mods in terms of load order. And Devious Devices is set to bound animations. The animation bug only occurs with the Rubber Doll Armbinder. I've found one loophole in the Tentacle Parasite quest. If you're currently enslaved by Leon/Leah you can't hold on to any ale, thus making it impossible to finish the parasite quest. You also can't use the smelly salve if you're gagged.

EDIT 2: I FIGURED IT OUT! Used the faction section of Devious Device Equip to remove Serana from the factions related to the feature (a bunch of them at the bottom), it reseted her.

I'm having what might either be an issue, or me being a dummy. I didn't find anything on the forum, and if I missed it I'm sorry.

 

I was testing the Bondage Dialogue feature with follower Serena. At first, all good. She let me put devices on her, and even add more later. But then when I wanted for her to let me modify the devices again (I wanted to remove them all), she kept saying "no, don't touch my stuff", and insisting didn't seem to matter. This happened even with 100% Unlock on the settings.

 

Eventually I got tired of it and just removed the devices via inventory trade. A bit later, I was gonna test the feature again and she kept saying "you again?" and again, with 100% on both chances, she kept refusing me. I waited in-game and also did some quests to pass the time but it didn't seem to work. 

 

Tried the Safeword feature to remove everything, hoping it would somehow reset. Nope. I tried disabling Cursed Loot then re-enable it, hoping it resets. Nope. Closed and re-opened the game. Nope.

 

My current idea is that (reading the stats that show up everytime I tried) maybe I can increase the likelihood of her being more amiable if I forcelock some plugs on her and try to increase her arousal. Or will my plan not work? Any has other ideas, or did I break something?

1. From the picture they look fine, if there's a "point" behind where the parts of the belt come together you failed to show it with that head-on image.

 

2. That's how it's supposed to work. If you want items that are simply removed get the non-Devious crafting mod which sadly only covers the older equipment.

I´m not sure if this question hasn´t already been answered (if so, I´m sorry for asking), but i can´t enter the dollmaker´s house. Whenever I click on her door to enter, I get a ctd. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have another mod active that is also trying to change the same area?  IIRC there are a few mods that try to add buildings to the same spot as the dollmaker's house, which can cause problems such as CTDs.
