Deviously Cursed Loot LE 9.0 (2021-03-09)

So im having trouble with Deviously cursed loot mod and the devious devices that are required. I install the correct files (I use Winrar btw) and i put them on to nexus mod manager. I install all the other addons needed to run those mods including loverslab etc and add them on NMM as well. when i start up skyrim using SKSE on the NMM and it crashes after the Bethesda logo. i know it means i have some mod that causes the crash so i disable the mods and put one on at a time to see which ones crash the game. The mods that i found to crash my game were,

-Deviously cursed loot (with ZaZ Animations enabled)

-Devious Devices Assets

-Devious Devices Integration

-Devious Devices Expansion

 

I know that I did something wrong so if anyone knows what I may have done wrong it would be appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction.

Crashing at the logo usually means that you are missing a required mod.

 

I use "LOOT" to sort my loadorder and to verify that I am not missing any required mods. I suggest you use LOOT or a similar tool to check what mod you are missing. TESVedit can also do that.

Anyone facing the same problem as I? I downloaded the DCL zip file from mega and as I tried to add it to my mods using nexus mod manager it gave me an error at about 50%? I haven't seen anyone reporting this am I doing something stupid?

Note: The error was given when trying to install the mod, not adding it to my mod list

Is there any way to prevent Rape events from undressing everthing? It seems it ignore the sexlab undress options/strip options.

When you got 12 different pieces of armor on ya. Its kinda annoying having to sort that out everytime.

 

Second question.

Do you have to do anything special to get Public Indencency and Public Nudity options to work?

Ive never been able to get them to work at all. Most fresh saves i use i load my previously saved Cursed loot MCsettings.

Does loading your settings mess things up?

Just curious if people have this problem or if its just script lag that prevents them from working.

Also tried to change load order from top to bottom and bottom to top. Makes no difference.

Are you on NMM 63.14 as it had a fix for handling large files iirc though I never had problems with earlier versions except for 3DNPC mod which has over 2 Gb of sound files

FYI, the hosting site of this mod goes through downloading the archive up to 90% and then shows "dl limit for your ip exceeded - please register". Not an issue, just FYI.

Just checking, but when you set the stripping toggles in Sexlab in the stripping and timers tab you did set them for all three views, right?

 

at the top left of the stripping and timers tab is a clickable something like views?? and it switches between setting for aggressive, consensual, and whatever the third type of sex is... i'm gonna say butt sex (but it isn't that).

 

You have to set the stripping toggles for each one of these to effectively limit all stripping.

I allrdy try that method, it works for most of mods to not strip player, but dosent work with cursed loot - rape option. Even if I put to 0% chance of tie the character or things like that in cursed loot.

Tried that, tried using MegSync, I have installed mods of over 500Mb before and haven't encountered any problems, it still gives me the mod was not activated at about 50%, this is weird

Tried that, tried using MegSync, I have installed mods of over 500Mb before and haven't encountered any problems, it still gives me the mod was not activated at about 50%, this is weird

confirm that you have all requirements already installed. Also, some larger mods do take awhile. Try letting it gestate while you get a sandwich - it might be over the hump by the time you get back.

Actually I was responding to Coffe's question of if it was working for me. Which as you pointed out isn't helpful to you because I want it to do exactly what you don't want it to do.

but if you have tried that, and it still isn't doing what you want, have you tried using SL defeat instead of DCL for post fight events? I personally Like defeats features better than DCL in that respect, and it might work better for you.

I have a problem with "The Bound Queen"-questline. After a while in-game the quest reset, when I read the book again it starts again from the beginning and I have to go to Julius again. As long as the quest is not active I can't find the devices. It reset in a quite sghort time so I have no chance of finding the items.

 

Is there a fix to this problem? Does anyone have the same problem?

Are you using the safeword to get out of devices? it resets all quests, including the bound queen.

I was talking about the rape events. Not the combat events

And yeah, i also use defeat for combat.

 

Anyways im guessing thats how DCL works. If thats the case i request it maybe for a future version that it only undress what you select in sexlab.

Are you using the safeword to get out of devices? it resets all quests, including the bound queen.

 

No i don't, but niw the problem is fixed I reinstalled my whole skyrim + mods and started a new game xD

It's for the slave start optional plugin, you'll need Alternate Start - Live Another Life for it. You start there dressed up in some devious gear if you choose the "Princess about to be sold as slave" (IIRC) option.
