Slorm Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 Bug Report (Old One) You will hate me and probably consign me to wear the smelly stinky belt of doom on my head for all eternity for bringing this old one up again but I think I've made some headway with it. If you remember there is an issue with the Estrus Ooze/Slime animations breaking RND. Around v 4.4/4.5 you fixed a similar issue with the tentacle animations but no one (including Bane Master) can remember how you did it. Anyway, I returned to this tonight as I noticed in the current DCL the impregnation slider is working again and here is what I found. Tentacle animations work fine as before (either if the pc is impregnated or not) RND works fine The ooze animation, if the pc is not impregnated then RND works correctly, however if the pc is impregnated then RND is broken (just ceases to work) So the problem with those two animations would seem to be with the impregnation routine. Not sure if this is any use or you care about it but that would seem to be the bit you fixed before with the tentacles I shall now go and hide somewhere

johntrine Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 So i reinstalled everything and even after that, the texture problem still kinda is there. though other things have texture, anything that should have gold texture looked like an abomination. and booby catsuit makes my torso invisible. am i the only one with these problems or this is a bug? P.S. the image is with my character wearing gold protective catsuit
El_Duderino Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Hi Kimy, After fighting a lot of bandits, necromancers, draugr, and all kinds of critters with Cursed Loot's Combat Surrender as my death alternative option, I would like to share some of my thoughts, observations and ideas about that feature. A feature which I really like and which has quickly become my favorite combat defeat system in Skyrim. First, I've found a few issues or oddities with the Surrendered Enemies feature: 1) one time, the surrendered enemy happened to be one who robbed me in a previous defeat, the option "kill him" didn't return the stolen goods into my inventory and they were irretrievably lost 2) if the surrendered enemy is male, he can still fire the "come here woman" line with all its consequences. 3) male enemies have the "tie her up" dialog option. I haven't actually tried to see what happens when I choose it. Defeat Outcomes that teleport you: There are those outcomes that teleport the player to a new location, be that healed in an inn or in chains in the wilderness. Would it be possible to tweak that outcome so that you will wake up in an inn or wilderness location in the same hold as you got defeated in? I'm thinking that whoever knocked you out or rescued you, probably would be too lazy (think Skyrim's bandits ) to drag you from the the Sea of Ghosts all the way to the Reach, which currently can happen. The only exception should be, in my opinion, the Bondage Adventure outcome (the further away, the better, lol). Healed scenarios: How do you feel about adding a temporary debuff (total health or regen?) to the player for a few hours after one of the healed scenarios was picked? Just to add something to simulate the trauma and prevent the player from rushing right back in. Defeat by dragon: During a recent fight with a dragon in Rorikstead, I got defeated and teleported far away. The dragon died pretty much right after that (not sure how, it still had plenty of health), and then there were other oddities like its corpse popping up in a few places where I went. I'm not sure what went wrong there, whether it was even triggered by the teleport or if DCO broke or whatever and I didn't log it. However, it got me thinking whether Combat Surrender maybe ought to handle dragons differently from other enemies? Maybe something as simple as limiting the combat defeat outcomes to the "heal at start location" when a dragon is involved? Or maybe in addition steal DA's idea and give the dragon a chance to devour one of your own dragon souls as a penalty? Thanks for the awesome combat defeat system!

That may have been my fault with the gold catsuit. Looking at the file, I seem to have saved the .dds without MipMaps for whatever reason. I guess you have lowered your graphics texture quality setting in the game display options? That would explain the issue you're describing.

No, all texture sizes (512, 1024, 2048) of the gold catsuit are affected by my mistake there. I've sent Kimy a patch for the next version, sorry about this bug! Currently the workaround is, I think, to set your texture quality in the Launcher to high (not all settings to high, only that one texture quality setting). Or you can do the change manually in the SkyrimPrefs.ini if you don't want to use the Launcher: [Display] iTexMipMapSkip=0 ;0 is High, 1 is Medium, 2 is Low.

I use this all the time as well it's a brilliant addition to DCL I'm in two minds on the Inn/Wilderness. I do agree it's more immersive to wake in the same Hold but I also like being dumped out somewhere the other end of Skyrim and having to get back, so perhaps have that on a toggle (assuming there's any room left in the MCM ) The healing debuff is a great idea, I would definitely like to see that. I think it would also be nice if the time limit to get your stuff back could be changed. Personally I think 3 days is too long (2 would be better IMV) but it is a very personal thing for each player so making it adjustable would be good. Just a minor preference really. EDIT: thinking about it, if there was a health debuff added then there probably wouldn't be a need to change the days as it would consume some of the time the pc had to get their stuff back anyway

Maybe there is also a command in the console to start the event?

There is no user-exposed customization for that other than enabling/disabling. The change the animation itself, you'd have to edit the source code.

I get that there is no "click this" in the MCM or anything. I was thinking I would just change the animation file to the one I wanted. But to do that I needed to know where it is pulling the current one from, and if anyone smarter than me (which is going to be a lot of people here) wanted to suggest a "best practices" method of changing it (creation kit? rename new file to same as old file and replace in windows folder?) I would be most appreciative. Why do I want to do this? Fun reason While the cover boobs with arm and lower part with other hand method of surviving a naked in public situation is a natural reaction to the immediate and short term issue of public exposure. It is not realistic or immersive for the long term. Eventually you realize you can't cover everything and you just look more silly trying. So you adopt a more submissive demure pose with an eye downward trying to not make eye contact stance. Seeing the reaction to you being naked in the eyes of other people (to me) is the most embarrassing part of being naked in front of other people. Boring reason The current animation pinches my upper arm and makes it look unrealistic

Slorm Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 @Kimy I was in Illinalta's Deluge when I went down to Mage throwing ice spikes and it transported me further into the dungeon rather than out. I know this a game engine issue but I was wondering if you set the teleport to the external map marker of the dungeon instead of the internal,whether that would solve the problem. IIRC DA does that and it seemed to work well (until it got broken in a later version and left the pc floating in the air).
White Banshee Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Just wanted to know: I decided to face Leon's quest. Ok all works fine until the guard gives me the key to get into Ustolf's room. When I try to open the door, it says that the door is locked and it needs a key...what the... I HAVE the key! So I used the console but once I get in Ustolf has no dialogue line to proceed in the quest. So I went back to a previous save before starting the whole quest and this time, once I buy the stuff from Belethor and speak to Claudius the game freezes, I mean, in the secon round was not even possible to go a bit further, where in the first round the part in the mansion was at its end. Last card to play, I went and asked Leon to enslave me and nothing happened. Looks like this quest is broken in my game

I can use the spells on myself, but I cannot seem to get the attacks to trigger. I have it all set up and enabled in the MCM to allow the attacks as well. Any help would be appreciated. So a question if anyone can answer it. I'm not aware of any feature of cursed loot that involves getting hit. What is the mod trying to do when this line appears in the log that causes my game to crash?

This feature has a cooldown to prevent engine clogging and by itself should not really cause any trouble, but if you run a really script heavy load order, try disabling the feature in MCM and see if that helps.
Slorm Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Bug Report I'm seeing some further problems with the outcomes for combat rape. I have hardcore set (see screenie) but it only ever transports me further in to the dungeon. I've tried four or five times now and it's always the same outcome. It's Swindlers Den and it always moves the pc to where the water starts (close to the Bandit Chief). I've also attached a log which I hope will be useful Papyrus.0.log EDIT: Did some further tests, spawned a bandit outside Swindlers Den and it worked correctly. Tried turning the toggle off in case it was the wrong way round but that had no effect
