Woo boy, a glitch that I do not know what the cause is.

 

Alright, I equip Steel Shackles and as usual it closes the inventory menu. But then when I press tab to bring up the options to try to escape the bonds or endure, nothing pops up, at all. The tab button still works because I can go in to the main menu and exit out of it via tab, but pressing tab does nothing. It does nothing even if I use console to remove the shackles.

 

I had to uninstall DDi V3 because I think it was conflicting with an unrelated mod (iNeed), and installed DDi V2.92, recreate my character. So I am not sure what I am missing here

 

I put this here because Steel Shackles is from Deviously Cursed Loot. I haven't tested with DDi restraints that'd bind the hands behind the PC's back.

 

Also: Would it possible for any future version of Cursed Loot to include new Soul Gem plugs that are always on until they are taken out? Or would  that be too much strain on Papyrus?

 

Glad to know I'm not the only one here with the Steel Shackle issue. The issue still seems to happen with DDi 2.92 and from my experience, the rubber gloves binding is buggy and so is the armbinder.

 

 

 

The problem with the Shackles is that they primarily use an Armbinder tag while occupying the Arm Cuffs slot. Were you wearing Arm Cuffs at the time that the problem occurred?

 

I've tweaked my nifs/esp to reassign them to the Armbinder slot and I no longer have any problems with them.

 

You can try the attached fix to see if it helps you. It replaces the shackles nif files, so make a backup of those before installing. The esp is just an add-on that overrides the relevant resources (so make sure it is after DCL in the load order).

I can't speak for the other guy, but I wasn't wearing cuffs at all. In the past, if I had tried wearing Steel Shackles while wearing cuffs, the shackles would just not work, but wouldn't prevent the tab button from opening the character menu or the "attempt escape from restraint" box.

 

I guess I can try that file and see if it fixes it anyway.

 

EDIT: As I feared; this does not fix the issue.

 

 

I haven't worn the arm cuffs. I only wore the shackles, yet the problem persist. Seems to be happening to me at DCL 5.4 as well.

So generally, the same issue as Seph. Except the "iNeeds", I don't use that.

 

 

 

And iNeeds wouldn't cause it, since it's unrelated (I thought it was related to another issue I had).

Maybe it's an issue between DCL and DDi? I mean DCL 5.5 was working right when I was using DDi 3.0 Beta, but I downgrade (with a new character) and it stops working? Fairly suspicious.

That's because DCL 5.5 absolutely -needs- DDI 3.0

The first page of this thread + the download page says 2.9.2, so that is what confused me.

I would like to add a little suggestion (Sorry for my baaaaad english, i understand it very well but speak/write is terrible) 

 

It seems that there is no limitation or malus to ask again and again a NPC to help the player with his restraint. Well there are always the randoms chance of bad ending but they dont evolve with multiple asking.

 

Maybe you could add a feature where :

First time you ask, no change.

 

If the answer is no because he is not able, this is stored, and next time you ask (even 5 days later), the npc would be angry, make an aswer in consequence, with greater chance of bad end. This would add a little spice to the adventure, as you could not remember which NPC is willing to help you or not. Each time you ask a unhelpful NPC, his anger (or tiredness as you like) will increase and bad end or very bad end would be a more and more probable answer. By the way if you ask him again immediatly, for your foolness, punishment would be assured. 

 

If the answer is no because its an asshole and dont want to help, same thing, with maybe the possibility of convincing him (with lot of sex or gold, jobs, etc ...)

 

If the answer is yes, same thing, as the NPC would be more and more conscious of his usefulness, he will start to ask for more reward, in addition to his gold (sex as start, then little job, forced prostitution or slavery for a short period of time ...) Sex/prostitution could occure after you are released from your device, to be more interresting (again, if you escape/don't do it, a big bounty would be added to your head, or a full bondage set applied or player is sold as slave with the help of the mod simple slavery)

 

Well this is just an idea which could be refined but the idea is to add more stress to the bondage adventure, and a bit more immersive.

I have a minor issue with the Cursed Collar Quest, i managed to find the items, up to the Cursed Slave harness. But when my Character equips the Harness it doesnt show on her, despite being equipped in the Inventory. After that i played around a bit to solve the invisible harness, tried out if "Devices underneath" was blocking anithing, but that isn't the case. After a while i resetet the quest, got the items through console commands and discovered that the harness isn't showing u, when you wear the Cursed Chastity Belt and the other way around, they seem to block each other out, or at least forbiding the other item to show, any solution on this ?

Still having the Slut-Collar, ending the brother-hood-storyline, offered another, "ewww"-Moment. Astrid, after her sacrifice, and with all her burns, just had enough power left to demand sex from my character (and wearing the slut collar I couldn't say no...) :huh::s:lol:

 

btw. is there any other option to get rid off the Slut-Collar than by waiting/sleeping (which is kinda boring), or to try not to speak to anyone for a long long time (Even going dungeon-crawling this seems nearly impossible).

 

It's just having sex that resets the counter. So either way you avoid people or you block all possible holes (at least three) and hope that the person you want to talk to doesn't have a key. And that he understands you.

 

Or in other words: put on a chastity bra, belt and a ball-/panelgag and you're relatively good to go.

So either you struggle to avoid talking to people during that time, or you struggle finding keys after the time.

This is because the Cursed Harness (and the Damsel in Distress Slave Harness, as well) both use the wrong AA model.

 

Currently they use the zadx_EboniteHarnessAA (harness+belt) model when they should use the zadx_EbCustharnessAA (harness only) model.

The harness only (no collar) models are deprecated. We're phasing them out.

 

Ok, but that's not really the problem. Unless you mean that anything other than the full Harness with Collar & Belt will be gone (and I mean function-wise, not model-wise). If that's the case, then I think it's a mistake. I like wearing a harness with separate belt/collar devices (in particular, I DON'T like the look of Harness + Bra with no Belt). If it's just the model, though, then I don't see that as much of a problem.

 

In any case, at the moment the issue is that the zadx_EboniteHarnessAA used in the esp specifies that it uses Harness and Belt slots. This causes any Chastity Belt you may be wearing to disappear. Changing the reference to zadx_EbCustharnessAA, which only uses the Harness slot, fixes the problem.

 

If one or both of those AAs will change or be removed, then I hope that there will at least be something that will allow a Belt to be worn over a Harness. That's the important issue for me; not so much the collar being included.

The sleep naked feature already has a MCM toggle.

 

so is full character strip before any animation  a feautre or a bug?

 

 

Before sex scenes? There is a different toggle for that! :D

 

bug still stays, strips all clothing from PC before act, after act doesnt re-equips anything.

I tried anything possible without looking into script files at this point.

1) it glitches with something, that aswell strips things ( I dubt it honestly i have started  the game without any mods except DCL and demanded esm. files.

2) its in your mod options somewhere, where i cant find....for whatever reason.

About that, a little idea for an Armbinder-Harness/Harness Collar combination. Wearing an Armbinder in Combination with either a AHrness or the Harness Collar will prevent the Character from struggeling out of it, since it still is linked with a locked device. So the Strings may be loose, but the locks are still closed.

 

And to my Problem, how do i change these AA-Files, is it possible with the Creation Kit ?

Thanks, and don't forget the _lb_ slave harness. It has the same issue too.

In this case, I think it would be best to wait for Kimy's fix for the problem. With the discontinuation of some of these items, I'm not sure it's a good idea to tweak it without knowing exactly what's going on with them.

Possible MCM menu addition... Simple Slavery during sleep events...

 

Sleeping outcome addition... SIMPLE SLAVERY mod tick box for sleeping events, with a chance slider.

 

Cool-down... This would have to be extremely low, or could make the game unplayable. With a 30 day cool-down period at least, or slider with cool-down options...

 

Chances slider... I'm thinking 0.1 to 1% on the slider, or you'll spend most of your life as a slave. This would give 1000 to 1 chance of getting enslaved, up to 1 in a 100 percent chance, which is really high.

 

Surprise element... Enslavement should catch you by surprise, you almost forgetting about it. Until you go to bed one night, then wake up naked on a stage, getting sold.

 

Your escape taking anything from hours to weeks...

 

 

Locations... Location based chances as well.

 

Bandit camp sleeping... Chance slider

Dungeon... Chance slider

City... Chance slider

Wilderness... Chance slider

Home... Chance slider

 

 

I noticed you already have a simple slavery option in the MCM, with limited options of how its triggered. This could add more...

Actually that raises a good point, I like the look of the harness in combination with the armbinder. I always thought it was odd there wasnt a struggle proof armbinder harness combo. May or may not also act as a chastity device. :P

 

But yea they look a little odd without an armbinder or the harness collars. I think its less weird to have collars over the harness collar actually, even if they clip a little. But I generally make it a point to wear the harness collar with the harness. I wish the high security and cursed collar used the harness collar model actually, would be easy to edit.

 

Though to any Devious Devices Staff that may see this, I hope if the harness is removed it is replaced by something else/better. If someone added some shoulder straps to it instead of it being visually held up by a collar that would work just fine. I prefer harnesses though so I hope they stay in one form or another. If such a shoulder strapped harness ever came about though, I think it'd be a nifty idea to make it so wearing a harness in combination with an armbinder made it impossible to struggle out normally.

We currently do not have a modeller, so as much as I would love to add new and/or improved items, I can't see it happening in the foreseeable future. Nobody in the current DD team has the necessary skills. As far as models go, we're pretty much stuck with what we have.

hey having trouble playing animations

The problem is that there is no animation played but the action is performed... So if i talk again to the Guy the option of prostitution has changed

That sounds exactly like you didn't go into the MCM Menu for Sexlab and tell it to "Install". Once it's installed you'll run into the next problem (if there are more) but we're here to help.

Does anyone else get the issue where if you have Leon/Leah doing the dominant follower/master and you ask them to punish you, when they go to draw their whips it soudns and looks like they are trying to draw their whips 1,000 times in the span of a few seconds?

I had a question to Kimmy and the others. I recently heard about this "Skyrim Remastered Edition" that apparently anyone who has all the dlc will get for free. Supposedly it will work off the newer Fallout 4 Engine for better shadows and stuff... but I instantly thought "Uh... my mods probably won't work on that huh?" Because theres a whole lot more under the surface Im guessing. Or... nope? Everything should be fine and dandy?

There is nothing official said about it yet, but my guess is that mods will have to be rebuilt. Changing engine involves deep changes in the code, and unless Bethesda takes special care to allow mod compatibility, it will break everyhting.

You can manual install the mod. Unpack it and then copy the CONTENTS of the following folders to your Skyrim/data folder:

00 base

ONE of the following : 10 Tex 512, 10 Tex 1024, 10 Tex 2048 (the number is the texture resolution. 2048 recommended)

At least one of the following : 20 CBBE Bodyslide, 20 UUNP bodyslide

 

Rest is useless in a manual install.

Overwrite any files if prompted. DCL has a clean file structure and it won't mess up other mods.

 

Run FNIS and bodyslide as usual and you're good to go.
