ForestElf Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 BUG?  This is a new installation of the game and new game. I am just level 3. I have combat surrender enabled. I try to steal from someone and fail. Guards and victim attack. Health bar depleted, but can't die. Immortal... On the other hand, if i reload and try to uncheck "combat surrender", then i have instant death. My character drops on the floor like struck by lightning. I have no Death Alternative mods of any kind installed. I don't know what to do... Start over again? Geee.... My character was wearing some devices when this happened.  EDIT: Even my old saves have the same. I now realise that i wasn't killed before and i am immortal in all saves! Either i found a combination of settings that make CL go crazy or i found the perfect mod conflict. Even putting CL as last mod doesn't change anything.  TGM is disabled, i 've no mod that makes essential NPCs either. Anyway, going on vacation, i guess it will have to wait. But it's really odd.
Slorm Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Possible Bug  Not sure if this is a bug or not. I was in Nchuand-Zel (Dwemer ruins) and all the sleep attacks were Bandits rather than Falmer.  I've tested in barrows and Draugr do sleep attacks so it looks like the poor old Falmer have lost out.  On a separate note with sleep attacks, can the number of attackers be increased now and again rather than just a lone attacker?

I don't know how possible it is to modify it so it only replaces the animation while wearing the skirt, but ...

It would force you to make very, very small steps, as little as a couple inches at a time.
TechBaNe Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 For that, you have to think very long and hard about how you'll implement that as I'm sure one of the worst experiences possible in skyrim would be being forced to inch your way across the map (since many already find it near insufferable to travel in an overencumbered state, as evidenced by the fact there are so many strength potions already included in the base game).Â

My understanding of (one of) the issues with the hobble skirt was that it looked utterly nonsensical while sneaking; replacing the default legs-splayed sneaking with crawling I thought might help with that.  Sneak attacks would quite possibly look even more nonsensical that way, but I suppose one could argue that fighting in a hobble skirt at all is a bit too awkward to do stealthily (and thus disable attacks while sneaking... sorry to all the assassins out there ).  As for it being a royal pain for players, well, we already have shock boots in the mod.Â

Where you are stuck in say some gloves, or boots for a decent amount of time.  Also, with the exhibitionist suit it is pretty much a glove in of itself so is there a possibility to override the call to equip gloves when it is on?  Last, with the "adhere to sets randomly" setting could it be more in line of, it will start equipping  consistent random sets, in that the last event was various "rd-ebonite"  items then the next event (without using keys prior) would also be RD-ebonite items.  Thanks.Â

XD sometimes i intentionally put a long time. like an week extension to make me think twice before fiddling with it again

Unless I missed a clue in it as to where to go. you turned it's page right?the letter has multiple. if it still fails to give you the message then it's the the bug i am fighting!  i can't get this quest to work no more. not after i updated some of my mods. and that was maybe like half a year ago.  at that time literally out of nowhere this quest stopped to working after getting the collar. O_o idk what to do about except wait for it to get rewritten and updated.

But yeah some sort of integration with the loot would be dandy. Sometimes you have the key but you just don't want to use it right now....you know? Getting locked in something and having the key would make for an interesting dynamic...  Do you wait out the time and re-equip all your armor... and so forth... OR do you push foward knowing that the next loot could make you drop them all (I play at a 51% drop chance)

OR do you push foward knowing that the next loot could make you drop them all (I play at a 51% drop chance)  i play it at about 25-40% in the mcm overall. set it too low it becomes boring, set it too high and it's completely gamebreaking. so i try to balance things out as much as possible  to make it as realistic as it could possibly ever be. it's part of roleplaying. it is what i love doing.  but i recently barely had any time or more importantly the mood to do any of it. too many rl problems are preventing meÂ
scorch109 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 During the Damsel in Distress quest I keep being unable to remove the Rubber Gloves saying the Arm cuffs need removed first. I had removed the arm cuffs normally with the 4 keys the 2 different occasions this has happened.

Sospice Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Is there an issue with the surrender function in cursed loot? (recent version)It seems like it just randomly breaks out of the blue and when you try to hit the "end" key nothing happens. I've even tried assigning the surrender to one of the free buttons on my controller but nothing comes of it. The only way to resolve the issue is load an older save until you find one where its working.My wife uses cursed loot as well and she has the same issue. We also have another issue that pops up; when we die, we go into a permanent bleed out state.  We use some similar mods but as far as I recall, neither of us are using any other mods that cause an effect on death state. Without cursed loot, I would just die and go to reload screen. In fact, I even had it set so that's what should happen, and then abruptly the alternate death scenes started kicking in and then "wham!" it broke. I thought this was connected to Sex Slaves (Mia's Palace) since I also get an issue with a dialogue option when this starts happening but now I'm wondering if the issue originates in cursed loot (my wife doesn't have Sex Slaves installed yet, I tend to be the guinea pig for mods since she refused to risk her game )
Sospice Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Update; I tried unchecking cursed loot, going back into the game, doing a two hour wait, saving, exit the game, check cursed loot back on in mod organizer, then go back into game and the surrender function works again.Â
Sun Shang Xiang Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 I think that I have managed to solve the problem with "Event Parameters" and "Escape Options". I started a new game without DCL active, created my char, saved, exited, activated, re-entered the game and it worked. Though I suspect that not many people would like to do that if they have other chars active. It's worth a shot, though.

On starting a new game, I have chances of events at 1.5%, 1.0%, and .5%, with arousal weight and modifiers set to .1, and special events delayed until level 15. However, I consistently get devious loot within the first 5 containers I open, and one time I even got the slave collar. Why is this happening?
