The mod seems to be causing issues with Braith (the little girl who wanders around Whiterun bullying everyone) in conjunction with the Hearthfire expansion

 

The game assumes that her parents are dead because her reference is missing two links to her parents's references (AmrenREF and SaffirREF)

 

This is causing her to be marked as an adoptable child, interrupting her initial dialogue with Lars and changing her dialogues, suddenly transforming her from the biggest bully to the saddest and depressed child in Whiterun

There are no changes made to Braith or her relationships by this mod (I checked with TESVEDIT) so you are looking at the wrong mod as the source of that problem.

 

 

I wasnt looking at the actor object, i was looking at her reference, and that proves otherwise

 

You are indeed correct but next time be explicit and say exactly where you found a change like that in the initial post. It will save people time and cause less confusion.

My game is broke. I didn't complete the Bondage Adventure Quest and used the Safeword. Later on I went to the person who gave me the quest and finished it. However, every so often, my character will not attack. She will not raise her hands at all. I have to use the Safeword to break free of it. Every single time I have to use the Safeword and I have no idea how to fix this issue. The Bondage Adventure Quest was way too hard because no matter what the sharp object would never cut through my binder.

Little issue to update to 4.10 from 4.09a. I have this message which appears: "You are either playing male character (nop), or have a child follower (just one custom follower, Ari http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17302/?but she was in my game before DD CL was created) or run mods removing important tags from children characters (no idea). Cursed Loot has been automatically disabled."

This message have never appear in 4.09a, so it annoying me a little bit...

I have exactly same issue, seems like nobody is going to help, try to disable all mods except cused loot and dependencies, if it wont cause issues, enable oither mods one by one, and eventually youll find that mod. If you find it, please reply to this topic, so i cand disable it too.

However, every so often, my character will not attack. She will not raise her hands at all. I have to use the Safeword to break free of it. Every single time I have to use the Safeword and I have no idea how to fix this issue. The Bondage Adventure Quest was way too hard because no matter what the sharp object would never cut through my binder.

 

The Bondage Adventure armbinder is an 'inescapable' variant. NPCs cannot remove it, the player cannot struggle out of it, and the sharp object event will not work, even though the text popup says so. The only way to get out of that event armbinder (except the Safeword) is to get back to the NPC that put it on you in the first place. You have to make the trip in full gear.

Use TESVEDIT to open ALL your mods and examine the Races, find which mod turns off the child flag and eliminate that mod.  Also check Braith, if there's a mod that makes her no longer flagged as a child then remove that mod.  Braith is being used as the Canary in the coal mine now, if she isn't properly marked as a child then you have a mod that shouldn't be used with any Sexlab mod, not just this one.

Well, maybe it's not necessary to do that -_- (I have a LOT of other mod in my game). I'm pretty sure I havn't installed any other mod between 4.09 and 4.10.

 

And I use ModOrganizer, I don't uderstand how works TESVEDIT with this program. I just tried to disable all my 'recent installed' mods and charged an old save, but the message still here. I think the problem don't come from my mods, but I can't be sure on that and I don't know how to fix this problem.

Oh, and when I try to reinstall the 4.09a version, all seems to work.

http://wiki.step-project.com/TES5Edit#Recommendations will tell you exactly how to set up tes5edit for mod organizer. Step 4, the part about TES5LODGenOutput is optional. It's part of the setup for creating LODs (the stuff you see in the distance) that aren't ugly.

 

That STEP project is built around MO, and worth looking at for setting up other tools as well.

I'm getting a bit too old, these days, and can't quite figure out what's going squiff.  I seem to have a slight problem with the 'combat surrender' option in the MCM 'sex attacks' section

 

As soon as I uncheck it, on exiting the MCM menu back into the game, my PC immediately lands up in the midst of an event of some kind.  On occasions, it's just been a straight DCUR event, such as the rubber doll collar being equipped.  The latest attempt got me going to bleedout and landing up with Sanguine's magical items being equipped.  

 

All I was trying to do  was set things up so that Defeat could handle combat defeat/surrender, and DCUR the range of other possible attacks.  I had previously reinstated Defeat's 'Player as Victim' option, adjusted some of the DA settings - that buggy mess, as Kimy described it elsewhere  :shy:    I now have a 'sort of' fix, in that I have just turned the health threshold down to 1% in DCUR and left it a lot higher in Defeat  - more than I would like, but seems the best option right now

 

I've searched this support thread for a few terms, but found nothing conclusively similar.  Is this just my manifestation of the 'Immortality bug'?  Or is it maybe something else?  And does anyone really know how to fix it properly, ie get DCUR's combat surrender switched off without messing with your PC?

 

Help from anyone, anywhere, would be welcome.  Preferably before I die.

OK, I've narrowed this down a little bit more, and the problem is replicable when making changes within the Device Comments menu, using 4.10.

 

Within that, the 'Actions Only When Visibly Bound' option will not accept a postive check mark.  Clicking on it does nothing.  I tried unchecking the Device Comments entirely, and rechecking it, but that sub option will still not positively check. 

 

But after having put it all back as it was, when I exit the MCM options, there is a message appears briefly to the effect .........

 

'test script activated'

 

.....and my PC is immediately equipped with the pink Rubber Doll collar

 

Sorry I don't have a log etc to upload, as I realise that would probably be the more helpful than just my witterings, but this is the best I can do.  And If this is old news, fine.  If not, then hopefully the old guy might have been of some help  :dodgy:

Minor request.

 

Would it be possible to have an open-backed variant of the slave chastity belt (That comes without anal plugs)? Was just thinking that if that belt is designed for constant wear, wouldn't you need... uhhh... "access"?

Under CNAM - Class it should say: Child "Child" [CLAS:00013279]

Heh. Edit lost it all.  Enter    NordRaceChild     in the Editor ID box top left of tes5edit, hit enter. That'll take you directly to one of the race files. I've circled where you should see the child flag. Check the other child races (particularly RedguardChildRace) nearby (left pane) as well.

 

It should be obvious which is messing with the children. If you do see it,  type    Braith    in the box and make sure she's a RedguardChildRace .

So the only way to fix this is to get into the bondage adventure again and do it right?

It just seems very odd to me that the message doesn't appear for the version 4.09a with same mods installed and same save as the version 4.10.

 

EDIT: Finally try to just keep DDCL v4.10 and its requirements and start a new game. The message appears....

For the Bondage Adventure, I tracked the NPC down and got him to release me, but the inescapable binder stayed on (everything else except the corset was removed). The adventure is also still in the "active" section of the journal, even though the single task (Make it back safely) is marked as completed. Any suggestions?

Okay, when you start a new game, are you using an alternate start? If so, which one? Both the vanilla start and skyrim unbound assume the player is male until they get to the character creation screen, so you will get the message in those cases every time. Either way, the mcm has a setting to ignore the male requirement.

Hi, I've got the immortality glitch with version 4.10, after this glitch popped up, I would no longer be able to save (it would ctd). 

I reverted to version 4.9a (new game) and the dollmaker quest was ctding all over the place, with the hood & gag function not working properly. After I finished the quest, I now get a glitch where I can't draw weapons after any sex animation plays. Using the "safe word" function clears it up, but it has to be done each time. 


I forgot to mention; the version 4.10 immortality glitch seems to be connected to the new surrender function. I got the impression that that was causing the issue.

Cabbages again. I go pick them up outside of Whiterun to turn them in for some quick gold to pay for a trip by cart. Get an hours worth of escaping devices instead.

Ok, I put your finger on it ! (thanks Aareyn for that).

I had missed it because I thought that it could not come from some graphic mods which I had installed. Obviously, on about ten of mod that it remained, was necessary that the problem it finds inside...

It was RS_Children Overhaul, A mod which I used with NPC Overhaul to improve the graphics of my game. A little bit sad not to be able to any more use it, but it was necessary to make a choice.

That shouldn't be a problem.  The checks in the mod are to ensure that the children in the game are properly marked as children so that the mod can then use those flags to exclude them from the mod content.

 

It's amazing though how many modders include a reset of one of the child flags in their mods.  

 

If you have a version of RS Children that resets the flags you can either download a current version which should not be resetting the flags or while you are examining it in TESVEDIT you can turn that flag back on (easy way, just drag and drop the correct flags/race/etc from the last mod with the the correct setting to the mod that turns it off).

Seriously. I was expecting my code to catch a handful of problematic mods at best. As in turns out, the amount of mods that mess with these flags is nothing but astonishing. You really wonder why some of these mods even do that. Not that I'd agree with -any- of the reasons to change these flags, but some you really wouldn't expect to make these edits.
