Hello, first of all i just want to say that i love this mod, second i must report the tragic event that i witnessed when i decided to upgrade the trusty v2.6 to the newest (4.10). This resulted in killing my player character everytime i loaded a save. As soon as the game loads up my player character is killed instantly and I can't do anything. I saw that you had added alot of features since the v2.6 release so i decided to upgrade but this seems broken? Maybe it's just me, I'll try 4.9 and see if i encounter the same bug although great mod overall, you should be proud of it!

 

This is a situation that used to occur with Sanguines Debauchery and was related to the player being marked as invulnerable but someone did as kill-move on the player while marked such and the silly game remembers that and kills the player as soon as the flag is turned off.

 

I seem to remember that the solution was to "resurrect" the player before removing the invulnerable flag.  In this case you would need to load the game with the old version of the mod, resurrect the player and then save (NEW SAVE!  Don't overwrite the save until you know things worked out properly).

 

After that you should be able to upgrade without dying instantly/

 

Only things is, I don't have Sanguines Debauchery and I never had it installed on my computer. I'll just try the save game cleaner and see if that works out.

 

He's telling you to reinstall 2.6, open your save, open console, use the resurrect console command on your character, make a new save, then try upgrading and loading the new save and see if that saves your character from dying.

I just remembered that there was a "set player essential" option in death alternative that I had checked... Anyways I did what you said aswell as cleaning my save and it works perfectly now. I got an CTD the first time loading the save but that is expected as I have close to 300 mods running at the same time. The mod is working now, thanks for the help!

Ooft , DCL v5.0 is due soon o.0 , gives me an excuse to give up on my current save for a while xD  HYPE !

I dont know how scripting or anything works , but for the first time ever i got hit with a slut collar , and it was horrible >.< never ever go to a settlement xD but yeah on topic , i have like an extended UI thing , so i just ran out into the desert in solsthiem and waited for like 10 days xD. before people be like "coward" i play with my timescale set to 1 , so it wouldve been an eternity :'). In short i was wondering if you felt like disabling the wait option in correlation with the slut collar to remove a cheaty sort of way out , that leaves you with the option of sleeping in a cave (which has its own risks) or getting absolutely molested trying to get to a player home to sleep. I dont know if its doable or how complex it is but i thought id throw it out there :)

 

p.s. im 27 in 2 days ,could be the best present ever !

I've found a bug in the Combat Surrender option.

 

How to reproduce:

  1. Start game and play for x minutes.
  2. Successfully perform a combat surrender (automatic or by hotkey).
  3. Save and exit after everything is over.
  4. Start game again and play: you are now unable to surrender until you've played for x minutes and during this time immortal (essential). After the x minutes you can surrender again but this will push you x minutes further back.

From what I can tell this is caused by the (internal) cooldown feature of the surrender function. It uses GetCurrentRealTime() which is the time since game startup (dcur_clocktickRefScript.psc:89). I guess GetRealHoursPassed() would be a better option.

I took all the other event probabilities and turned them to 0 while turning those two up to 100 (so it was a 50% chance of either) but I would still get the regular green flash and then 1-3 bondage items as I spec'd in the 'General' tab.

I've checked I have everything that CL needs to function so I am unsure as to why it wont activate. Everything else seems to work fine.

Are you wearing any other dcl or dd items? In the past that caused issues for me, maybe try the "free me" option under the debug tab in mcm to clear yourself of items then try make them trigger again :) hope you get it sorted although you so don't want to be a rubber doll >.< trust me on that XD

Thanks, I will give that a try. This is the 'testing' phase. Once I know what all the different events do I can set it up how I like... maybe I will love being a rubber doll... but its a very very hard quest by the sounds of it!

If i change somethink in the Cursed Loot mod with MCM, i need to save my game soemtime and load than this save to get it work. Or if you stay in a city, leave the city and join the city again.

I've noticed a bug with the latest version--doors are treated the same as chests. I had a character three devices just walking around inside the College of Winterhold.

 

What makes you think that's not intentional?

If you really don't like that, disable the door traps in MCM.

I got an CTD the first time loading the save but that is expected as I have close to 300 mods running at the same time. The mod is working now, thanks for the help!

I also have an extremely modded Skyrim game (465 mods). As a habit now, when I start a new game (new character) I let all the mods load, configure all the MCM options for all the mods that use MCM and then let the game set for a couple minutes to settle all the issues then create my first save.

 

After that, whenever I start the game I first load that initial save file (because it always loads cleanly) and then I load the current save game. Doing that somehow gets me past the race-condition problem that makes the game CTD when loading the latest save game directly.

Got all the requirements triple checked. Still CTD when loading when I unload this mod skyrim starts?

 

Any other requirements I may need that I missed?

 

I am using a unp body and yes I have the xm32 skeleton installed, I also ran fnis and have all the latest versions.

How's your load order, make sure you've got the order right on the dependencies, something like sexlab - sl aroused - dd assets - dd expansion - dcl I think is what mine is, I'm not on my pc atm so I can't check. If you look at the esps and esms in you're mod organiser it should tell you what you need to be loading first :) hope this helps you out :)

timescale set to 1? thats very risky. default is 20. everything lower than 10 has a potential of breaking your game. going under 6 is almost a guarantee to roast your save. the vanilla quests are not made for that behaviour. just saying

IMO going too crazy on the "anti-cheat" restrictions can make legitimate play frustrating without actually forcing anyone to get out of a restraint in a legit way.  If anyone wanted really get out of one without just using the "free me" button they could just console timescale to 200000 or something.  

 

I feel it is more up to players to decide how hardcore they want cursed loot to be, which is why all the work Kimy put into the MCM menu is so great.  That being said, this could be a really cool toggle option for the slut collar if it was easy to add.  For now tho, if you don't want to have the option to cheat the collar by waiting in a safe place, don't wait in a safe place.  :P

These softwares should solve any problem regarding load order if you would ever have an problem with it and if you're not using MO.
