One of the doors in that room said 'Jarl's Quarters'.

If Slorm is right (and I think she is) the door to the left (out of view) is named Jarl's quarters and leads to the servant quarters in Dragonsreach and up the stairs into Proventus Avenicci's bedroom. I know you don't do vanilla quests but this is a handy bit of knowledge if you're doing the Whiterun City Quest for the Thieves' Guild. The visible door in the picture leads to a storage room with a door that leads to the Ebony Blade.

You are both correct vis the other rooms but there should 1 - be a door where my PC is stood (my fault it's missing, I think) and 2 - I'm pretty sure the room should be the one where Gerda and Fianna sleep.
