Estrus Chaurus+

Hey, is this correct behavior?  I've searched and searched, but can not find anything in any description or anyone else reporting this:

 

Whenever I get impregnated by an estrus parasite, I:

• Cannot cast any spells
• Cannot use any powers
• Shouts don't work
• Drinking potions does nothing (but consume the potion)

Is this right, or is it a bug?  If it's correct behavior, how long does this last?  Until I give birth, or until the invulnerability effect wears off?

 

No - none of that should be happening,  and as you say its never been reported before.

 

Post your load order and papyrus log and we can take a look and see if there are any clues as to what is going on.

Is the Estrus invulnerability effect coming from Estrus Charus+?  I realized, I have Deviously Cursed Loot installed (and the attacks/impregnation came from a cursed loot event), and I remember seeing Kimmy mentioned that she added some buffs to stuff (though I thought it was just to things that force you to be naked), so I wonder if this is the workings of DCL after all.

 

 

The invulnerability effect should be removed when the tentacle scene ends - it can get left on if animation stages are skipped (by using spacebar during the scene) if that happened it would wear off over time as you describe.

Hmm, I don't remember if I hit spacebar to move through the scene, but I'll take note not to do that the next time this happens. Is there a console command to remove the effect without shutting down the impregnation as well by any chance?

 

Edit:  I also noted that some of the animations sometimes seem to stutter or skip on their own; the opening effect of the drop or oozing from the ground sometimes skips, and the "forcing the legs open" animation often times repeats itself.

Great mod BM.  Just a question/request, not sure if this has been asked before,,,,I know if you are wearing a chastity belt, it will block impregnation. But does it or can it block birthing of the eggs? Maybe her belly would continue to expand, or get other messages stating that you are unable to expel the eggs with some other consequences/debuffs applied to your character until you remove the belt and or plugs?

I need some serious help.
I have the main Estrus file disabled but installed, meaning Estrus Chaurus+ should still get the resources it needs, right?
I have Estrus Chaurus+ tentacle attack chance at 100 %.
I have the Estrus Chaurus esp loaded after Estrus in my load order.

I have Estrus Chaurus animations registered...though due to Estrus being disabled they won't show up in Sex Lab despite being registered.

I have actor events with the priority for Estrus Chaurus events set at 10.

In Sexlab I have the Restrict Aggressive Animations turned off.

I spawn 10 Chaurus and have them douse my kitsune female character in spit.

 

Yet despite all this that I have done based on forums such as this one....the animations and pregnancy event STILL won't activate.
What am I doing wrong? Do I need to enable the main Estrus esp again? Is it something weird with custom races that still use the XPMSE skeleton, which is compatible with this mod? The skeleton I mean.

I have Hentai Pregnancy also installed. Would that have compatibility problems?

I even found a Hentai Pregnancy patch for Estrus Chaurus...an old one admittedly but still.

Is there a console command I can use to force the event or something? I have literally tried everything except uninstalling actor events which I think I need for Milk Mod and Sex Lab Inflation Framework.

I noticed the same thing with NPC players - I reverted back to 20a from 21 - might want to try that.

You should be able to see the Tentacle animations registered in the Sexlab MCM - if you cannot there is a problem with your setup.

What version of SL are you using and how many animations do you have installed?

hi im having a problem when my character gives birth it looks like no animation is playing at all she's just laying down then never gets back up after she's done laying eggs she's just stuck there on the ground can someone tell me what's wrong and how to fix it

Afterward more and more enemies became friendly, wouldn't attack after the first couple hits. Only solution I found was going back to a previous save. It sucked, I lost hours of play.

I can't remember what kind of creature it was so don't know if it was EC or Defeat that caused it, but I assumed it must've been one of them.

i am having the problem where everything shows up and looks like its working, but i cannot enable pregnancy in the mcm menu.

 

i just click it and nothing happens, i tried all 3 methods of getting pregant, and nothing happens after sex concludes (aside from getting chaurus worm from DD?)

No teleports in EC+ so it was most likely a DA scenario that teleported you and bugged out...

Do you see the  impregnation spell effect go off on you (looks like a heal magic effect) - also what does the MCM version check page show?

Hmmm I think your right about DA. I did have a teleport that was interrupted at some point by a bear during an event. I wonder if that could have been the cause.  Since its not EC+,  should look into DA or Defeat for the cause? I have both but they seem to annoy each other even when you have their settings to where they should play nice.

 

Edit: Yep its DA as you said. Just checked the forums on it and it says that the pacify cloak effect can get stuck. There is a MCM fix for it tho. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Hi, does this really need creatures installed? As far as I can tell, the spit and birthing requires external effects and animations and i'm not really interesting in installing all the creature packs and stuff again, so can I manage without it?

Creatures are only needed if you plan to have sexlab scenes with Chaurus via defeat or some other mod. If all you want is spit as a method of getting implantation then creatures are not necessary for EC+.

I don't think it's been mentioned, but this mod is incompatable with Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul.

 

If CACO if lower in load order then the spit attack loses the script for tentacles (and so this mod is mainly redundent)

 

If EC+ is lower then CACO has no effect on the chaurus poison (if your using EC+ then that's probably the prefered option)

Trying to use the new version of this mod and I can't seem to enable pregnancy. Pressing the 'enable pregnancy' button in the MCM just does nothing, the button remains unchecked. I'm trying this on a new game. I notice in version check that it tells me my XPMSE version is wrong, even though I just installed the latest one (3.85). I thought maybe my XPMSE version is too new but I tried installing XPMSE 2.82 and it showed as wrong version in the MCM too (I ran FNIS after each installation of course).

 

I had no problems enabling pregnancy in version 3.9~

I fixed my problem. I'll detail it since Blihk mentioned having the same issue.

I installed XPMSE manually. Since I don't use Racemenu I didn't copy the files from the library "10 XPMSE3 Plugin for RaceMenu and Enhanced Character Edit (Recommended)". But since XPMSELib.pex is in that folder it caused issue apparently.

 

So I copied the files from that library into my data folder and now I'm able to enable pregnancy even though I don't enable the xpmse.esp file in my load order.

Had a really weird thing happen in Mzulft Boilery

 

Fem PC+ 2 Fem NPC followers.  Those mutiple Chaurus proved altogether too much in combat, and all three were introduced to the interesting attentions of the Estrus tentacles.  All 3 became little chaurus egg carriers,  So far, so...something or other 

 

But, one NPC seemed to lose her body after round 1 or 2, can't be sure, the battle was intense, and lo and behold all that was left of her was a following bald head, and drawn weapons.  There was some sort of intermediate stage in tyhe Estrus animation where all that I think was visible was the NPC head and what looked like mainly the 'spinal part'(?) of the Estrus animated tentacles.   At one point in all this, 'Defeat' kicked in too, but I think that the NPC body was gone by that point

 

Anyway, a disable/enable via console did nothing.  A subsequent soft load/reload did zilch, and a hard quit/restart game did little too, other than cause her hair to reappear.  Also trying DCUR's 'Fix Follower' debug made no difference either - I have that installed with plants set to generate Estrus attacks, although I have never encountered one

 

Interestingly, though, what was different between pre and post body vanishing was that, pre disappearing body, the console showed the NPC as being of the 'Imperial' race, but after her flesh had disappeared, she was in the 'Invisible' race. 

 

I couldn't find a console cure for that. so I went back to an earlier save and played the location again.  Got through that with both followers intact

 

Anyone else encountered this / have any idea why this might happen  / know if it's a bug?

 

Whatever, no harm was done - figuratively speaking  .  Quite the reverse, as I got to play the dungeon twice! 

 

But posted in case anyone else has this occur and is wondering what on earth is going on

Current version of Defeat doesn't seem to trigger the pregnancy event. Spit attacks trigger the tentacle animations just fine, but the creatures continue to attack while the character is helpless.

I have a friend who has to give birth, but I did a 34-day advance and she passed the limit of -34 giornu I can do something.
I thought I uninstall the mod fellower and then restore, it you can do?
