I just came out of a Falmer dungeon where I was attacked by three chaurus.  As they were spitting on my character I had a thought, while I like the tentacle animation from Estrus it would also be an interesting alternative if the chaurus spit paralyzed the player instead and then a sexlab animation played.  Maybe spiders should do that.  Just thoughts.

I have looked at the thread but remain uncertain on post infestation events

 

1 - Do the hatchlings grow bigger over time?

2 - Do they turn into adults?

3 - If the answers to the above are 'yes', is there anything you have to actively intervene to do to make those happen (I have read of leaving food and suchlike)?

 

And does the older mod that I seem to remember from long ago which apparantly allowed for the in-game world to be overrun by Chaurus, with continuing next generation cycles for NPC impregnation/egg spawn/hatching ad infinitum, still exist anywhere, and does it work with EC+ ?

I did an extensive test and observation of a group of hatchlings a long time ago.  I can't give a definitive answer but from all I learned they never grow into a full sized chaurus.  I did see a few of them grow from very tiny insects to somewhat larger insects but never anything close to an adult chaurus.  It's neat though, you can actually see them hatch and they have a simple daily schedule.  The more food that is available will allow more eggs to hatch.

Did you ever try the 'expansion' that was at one time available?  ie the one where apparently the Chaurus offspring could go on to take over the world with a cycle of attacks/births etc and so on with NPCs?   I remember seeing it some time ago, but I'm not sure where, or if it ever was supposed to work with this version of the base mod

No.  Never tried the expansion, though I do remember it.  That didn't interest me, it's a neat idea I just didn't think it would mesh well with general game play.  I just really like the idea of having 2 to 4 full size chaurus eventually grow from hatched eggs and no mod really does that.  I will typically manually spawn a random amount in the area after birthing.

Open up the console and type:

 

player.placeatme 000a560 X (the X will be the number of chaurus you want to place, like I wrote earlier I pick between 2 to 4.)

Thanks.  I might use the fast travel thing too, so that I can return to spawn them where and when they should have be grown, but then fast travel out so I only encounter them in game when I go back there later

Hello! I didn't see this continuation of Estrus Chaurus so I wanted to try it today. Unfortunately, I can't use the mod... Can someone help me, please? This is what I did:
 

- I uninstalled a previous version of "Estrus Chaurus". I checked the "Prepare for uninstall" thing then quit the game, uninstalled it thanks to NMM and launched the game to make a clean save. That might be the problem, maybe I did something wrong but I don't know why.
- I installed the lastest version of Estrus Chaurus+. I launched the game, firstly nothing happened so I saved and launched that new save. The MCM menu appeared but when I try to be infected, nothing happens. I tried to be infected by spit atacks and by Sexlab animations but nothing worked. I tried several times with no success.

I don't think it's important but I'm trying to use the mod on a male PC. The first mod worked with it so I guessed this one does too, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I hope someone can tell me what I did wrong please, I'd love to use this version of the mod!

 

EDIT : tried it on a new save and it didn't work either, so it's about the installation part. But I  have all the requirements, does someone have an idea?

It's not clear from what you have written, but once you had uninstalled the original mod, did you then just load the game again, save it, and assume that on the next reload that you then had a 'clean save'?

 

That's probably not enough, as you need to make sure that the game, as running without the original mod installed is 'cleaned' of any residual scripts still hanging around in the save from the original mod

Fairly self explanatory as to how it works, with the 'Fix Script Instances' and 'Delete all #' being the main things you need to apply, and then save the game excluding unwanted hangovers.  I've used it for a long time and it really does seem to get rid of residual scripts that sit inside the save and screw things up!

 

There are people out there who can probably explain this much better than me if you want to ask more

I don't think it's been mentioned, but this mod is incompatable with Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul.

 

If CACO if lower in load order then the spit attack loses the script for tentacles (and so this mod is mainly redundent)

 

If EC+ is lower then CACO has no effect on the chaurus poison (if your using EC+ then that's probably the prefered option)

 

I think I can confirm this.  Looked all over the internet for a reason why I couldn't get the attack to trigger.  Anyone interested in patching this?

 

EDIT: messed around with the order. Still no attacks/animations :(

If CACO changes the chaurus poison spit so that EC cannot detect it as a poison spit attack it may indeed be incompatible - that being said if you have defeat installed you can still end up pregnant if you lose a fight to a Chaurus and it takes advantage of you

So I posted this over in Sexlab Framework because I'm not sure honestly if it should be there or here, since updating to the new Sexlabs, when an Estrus type attack occours be it Machine or Slime, only the new voice chosen via the sexlab voice option plays during the animation, and none of the old machine / tentacle sounds? Anyone else had this issue?

 

Secondly when the dwemer machine animations are playing I notice some items are missing, like in the on back chair type one, there is no belt and the dildo type device is floating in the air, also with the standing up type animation the leg binders aren't there, I had this issue a long time ago and managed to fix it, but I forgot what I did lol! I'm pretty sure I have no texture / mesh files missing!

 

Any help / advice with this issues would be great, thanks!

Anyone else getting CTD when launching SKSE? I guess its not compatible with the latest SL.

 

I am using up to date versions of SKSE, SexLab and Estrus Chaurus+. My game does not crash, when launching SKSE. They are compatible. Your problem relies somewhere else, like in resource priorities (especially if using Mod Organizer) or missing/corrupted file.

I have a problem with several mods combined, i have no clue which one causes it, but this one is my best guess, so i'll start here:

If i'm pregnant with some eggs AND wearing a chastity bra, my breasts shrink close to zero after giving birth. It might also be a problem of my body, or something with DD, or NiO, or... anything. But it only happens with pregnancy from Estrus Chaurus, it does not happen with SGO, Cursed Loot, Beeing female or any other body changing mod. And it doesn't happen if i don't wear a bra during pregnancy. Even if it's not a bug from this mod or at all, any ideas what i could do about it?

I've tried to restore my breasts via racemenu, but even that doesn't work.

It should. I've had a follower have a tentacle attack after a chaurus spit at her. Not sure about non-follower NPCs, as you'd need them to be fighting chaurus for the effect to trigger.

As far as I know, and if it hasn't changed, only unique NPC should remain impregnated by chaurus. Non-unique NPC will loose their status on cell change. So, any NPC can be impregnated, but some may loose that status if they, or you, move around (cell change).

Didn't see your answer, yes, it's on.

 

 

Turn it off. That option flattens a character's breasts whenever a chastity bra is worn so they don't clip through the bra. Even when the bra is hidden under clothes using the hiding options, the breasts are flattened.

OK thanks :) I always thought, that would fit the bra to my body and i'm too stupid to use bodyslide... now it turns out, i was only too dumb to turn that off. :)

Im having an issue where I get attacked by tentacles and afterwards I check the status screen and the MCM hatchery menu and it says that my pc or my followers are not impregnated. I have the 'enable infestation' selected but still nothing. Besides from uninstalling and reinstalling, I dont know what to do. Here's my load order in case it helps
