ll819 Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 You probably have Level based progression activated, you won't have any devices equipped until lvl 5, You can turn it off in the MCM menu.

I also never got the auto-submit to work, but had it set kinda low so didn't think much of that at first. This morning I tried to start my game up and it crashed, so I took a gander at the log and was pretty stunned by all the errors Submit it throwing up. I assume others are running this mod just fine, so hopefully someone can look at this and see if I'm missing something?

Have you got it installed?
Ashra XIII Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 No, I don't have it installed at all, and since I have Mod Organizer, there shouldn't be any leftovers of it lingering around unless I forgot to disable something... which if that's the case I can't find it. This is also on a brand new game, so shouldn't be a bad save file either.

This is also on a brand new game, so shouldn't be a bad save file either. it shouldn't *need* it but if you could d/l Prison Overhaul v030 and install it (run loot or boss afterwards) then try again (new save game) and hopefully it works fine. I use MO too and the only difference is I'm using PO v030 (afaik anyway, I had an npc combat mod that totally broke devious devices earlier) - the latest versions of sexlab + aroused, dd (and assets/integration) and ZaZ animations. The only issue I'm having with this iteration of the submit+progression mod is creature animations not activating (well.. rarely anyway) which doesn't bother me.

There are even more errors of Captured Dreams in the log. cdx_ scripts are of CD Try to remove both mods and check if you can get a clean log like this. Could help to start from this direction to find the issue. Both mods can't be initialized for some reason on your game. The first two lines of Prison Overhaul can be ignored. It just means PO is not installed.

More specifically, I surrender, but I will always take enough damage from the follow-up punches of my aggressor to fall below 1 health, where the deathproof surrender is no longer protecting me. I get the "your wounds are mortal" message and have to load a previous save. Creatures (categories 1 and 2) don't seem to have auto-surrender applied to them. I can surrender to them voluntarily, but they won't trigger it automatically.

I have similar problem - dying even with deathproof surrender - "Your wounds are mortal" message even when the proper surrender sequence begins, this message interrupts it and i die - using TIM mode in console fixes that. I don't seem to be able to surrender to creatures either (with lvl 2 creature support set), they are not interested in manual surrender, and auto does not trigger either.

The only oddity I've seen so far was when my PC and follower were attacked by 3 thugs sent to teach her a lesson (for stealing). She killed thug #1, but was beaten, raped , and then bound by thug #2 (while the follower was raped by thug #3). She escaped, but was beaten & raped again, this time by thug #3. At this point both thugs #2 and 3 were alive but low on health. After she escaped again, she killed both of them, and recovered gold that had been stolen, but not all of it was there. Thug 2 had a little over 1K gold, thug 3 had about 800, but she had started with over 3K. So some of it got lost someplace. Not a big deal, but I thought I'd mention it. Again, thanks for a big improvement over the original submit!

While the original Submit was great (better imo than Defeat, especially from an immersion point of view) it wasn't the most stable critter... Despite all the delicious devices added in this version, Submit+DD+Progression works a lot more reliably for me...
Guest Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 I keep having this problem where I'll check "Disable Level based progression", and then I'll get devices up to the slave boots. Nothing more. I can't get gags, blindfolds, or armbinders. And though I'm level 5, Level based progression doesn't work.
Sensual Nautilus Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I'm having problems with creatures too, which is a first for this mod, got back into the game and kicked things off by reinstalling my game and updating my mods while removing a few bunch. I have the creatures activated on sexlab, which is why i can engage them in consensual actions via animal sex mod, have the submit creature slider to 2 and have confirmed that creature animations are all working, it's just I can't seem to access the mod's sbmission to creatures functionality despite my best efforts. It is always your opponent does not accept your submission or just death, apart from that everything is working perfectly.

I have "Steal Player Gear" turned off.

It feels like there is simply something missing that's keeping it from working, but dang if I know what it is. The regular Sexlab Submit works perfectly, just not this one... May as well try to help while I wait if we are ever going to have an answer for why a number of us aren't having working creature functionality specifically with this mod. What measures have you done so far friend? Reading bits of your script, lines such as " Error: _slsubmitfunctions.Surrender() being called on an invalid object, aborting function call" typically mean you either have not togelled everything to toggle to get the mod going (Anything that might seem relevant at the mcm menus of all the plugins involved in the mod) You may also have not reregistered the zaz animations at the mcm menu, Took me a couple of hours to realized this personally when i was installing. Just POI, If you have not been doing so, focus your tests and experiments strictly with humanoid characters, beasts and creatures are whacked for some of us.

But here is my testing method, keeping in mind I started a new game with neither Submit installed... that way I can activate one or the other, have it register, then configure it and do tests. I turn auto-submit on, set creature support to 2, and set health to near 100% with a 100% chance of submitting, just to test. I bind the manual submit hotkey, and then go find a bandit (Yes I've been testing with humans, as I know creatures are messed uo) and see if my character will try to submit when struck, or if I can hit the hotkey to make it happen after I've taken a few blows. When vanilla Submit is running, I get messages in the top left that indicate I am trying to submit, and eventually it will work. With this version, there is never a message in the top left, and of course my character never does the 'raised hands' pose or anything like that... the battle just keeps going on as normal and I get that spam in Papyrus that I mentioned before. I did try re-registering Sexlab animations under Zaz to see if that was the problem, and it didn't help. Is there some other registering I need to do?
