Since I've updated, I no longer see the dialogue from the aggressors about tying me up and other things. I also can't use the submit key to try to escape (either that, or I'm constantly failing and the notification isn't reflecting that).

Do you have fuz installed, because it is working better than before for me. Try to escape from cuffs or being bound? I can no longer escape handcuffs anymore with the submit key either but I haven't been able to in many other version as well so not a big issue you just need to find somebody to help you out.

Followers devices are being applied properly but right after sex scene ends right before follower is bound/tied her clothes are re-equipped and after a successful escape from being bound when armcuffs are applied she is naked with no devices on but of course when I release her from the cuffs through dialogue everything is re-equipped cloths+Devices.

Run  savegame script cleaner and remove all _slsubmit scripts instances from your save file, load game and it should reset all settings.

 

Plus I believe they are using the latest submit file here below

  • Player Surrender will now utilize the Framework's stripping setting instead of just being fully stripped.
  • Moved the Player Robbed action to when they are bound at the end of the Player Surrender. The actor that will be considered the target for the player's gold (and gear) will be the first of the last two to take a turn.
  • Ashal added an API command in 1.55 to facilitate this scene, disallowing the player to redress from whatever state they were in at the end of each assault. This is why I had originally had the theft occur first.
  • Due to this new API command, the mod requirement section has been updated to reflect the 1.55 Framework.

Meaning you'll have to use all the latest version of Devious Devices+assets+Sexlab 1.55 (I know it was said but just so other people can see it better)

I did have Fuz installed.

 

Somehow, simply trying again (after having quit the game) worked for me.  If anyone is having a similar problem, simply reload the game and see if it works. I have no idea why I encountered this problem.

 

However I am having a more persistent problem. When I get to the stage where the armbinder is equipped, everything breaks down. Pressing the submit key makes my PC briefly raise her fists before putting them back in the armbinder, and no bondage pose is played. No electricity occures, and no notifications about chance to be noticed are shown.

 

I am also persistently crashing when defeated by spiders (haven't tried other creatures yet).

As I said in a post before 1.58 is not the newest version. I sent the updated one to MixedUpJim yesterday evening I guess he will upload it in the download section soon.

In this version the device equipment as well the the unequip of the devices on hardcore bindings is fixed. After sex scene the follower should stay naked as well. But can say that for sure cuz I didnt test it yet. Thanks for the report but in the new version it should be fixed already :) v1.58a or 1.59 dunno how Jim will call it.

 

@ Users with slave boots issue

Q: Equipment after slave boots stopped working why?

A: I had to add the reference in DD - Integration for the boots cuz it was missing. If you have this issue you need to make a clean reinstallation of DD - Integration and SexLab Submit. If you don't do that the check for slave boots will end up in an error and will always try to equip them. (cant compare keyword (xyz) with none)

mmm isnt Submit already included in this mod? why should we install it separately ?

Yes it is, he is referring to this mod when he says SexLab Submit.

So uhh, I did a clean reinstall and all that jazz but I still don't get text boxes of what's done and I always end up stuck with slave boots.

Hi there, the text box stories of old have now been removed. Instead you should get a bit of dialogue spoken by your attacker. However, this is some what hit and miss at the moment. Sometimes they will say the dialogue, sometimes just one line, sometimes nothing. I am try to fix it :)

 

When you say you get stuck with the slave boots are you saying you get stuck at the stage where they should be equipped or that you get stuck with the slave boots always being equipped?

I think clean install of DD integration (which is required for all devious mods) is pain. It actually worked for me but lost all devices :(

If you have the UNPB DD - Assets there shouldn't be a problem. Only the slave boots may have clipping issues but I can't say that for sure.

 

Basically if you can use DD - Integration you can use Submit Progression as well.

Any chance that we'll see effects from struggling other than being shocked? In the old text stories there were a few magic spells that would be used on the character. It would be cool if we saw some illusion effect (raising arousal or making aroused noises) and some other destruction effects as well.

Definately more than a chance. When I removed the short stories the idea was to make them in to properly acted scenes. There are some limits to what I can do with the standard animations etc but certainly I shall be adding what I can. Also, when the new version of ZazAnimation pack is released there are some awesome struggle animations for the different bound poses.

 

I may also change the escape mechanic to make it more interactive rather than just pressing a single button with no control over the outcome, and the penalty for failing to escape will have a more detrimental effect than just a visual effect :)

New version up from Kain (pretty much the resident coder for progression now :) ) which modifies the way devices are added. This is to make the mod still have impact at later levels where you may have stock piled keys (if using devices devices for the masses) or have really good lock picking skills. It also makes it slightly easier for new characters and this will become extra important when debuffs are applied to some of the devices (just to make life extra specially difficult)

 

Here's how it works...

 

Characters below level 5 will now not receive any devices when knocked down.

Over level 4 you are now fair game and will receive 1 item from the progression list each knock down.

This number will increase by 1 every 5 levels. So by level 20 you will be receiving 4 items per knock down. 

When you hit level 35 and over you will no longer have the gag removed when you get the armbinder. You will now get both. At this level you basically get everything added each knock down

 

I've left the previous version up at the moment as I'm not 100% sure about getting the armbinder and gag all at the same time as that basically stops your game dead until you can struggle from the armbinder (which can be a bit tedious).

 

Open to suggestions here....what do you think?

 

Also upcoming will be debuffs for arm binders, leg binders, collars and the bra. At the moment these are purely cosmetic and don't cause any issues to your character unlike gags or blindfolds. 

 

My thoughts are...

 

1. Arm Binders - a carry weight debuff and a bit of stamina/mana regen debuff? The idea is that they are put on tight so restrict blood circulation causing weakness in your arms.

 

2. Leg Binders -  a bit of a slow down in movement speed plus a stacking stamina/mana regen debuff so if you have both the arm and leg cuffs equipped it will be quite noticable? Again, due to blood flow restriction.

 

3. Bra - mana regen? Really not sure about this.

 

4. Collars - Stamina and mana regen debuff  (thinking they constrict breathing due to tightness?) and if you end up with arm binders + eg binders + collar your stamina/mana regen would be really slow

 

I think all the debuffs should stack so your situation becomes ever more serious and even higher level characters should want to get them off as quickly as possible as stamina becomes important for power attacks, shield bashes and archery zooming whilst mana is of course important for spells.

 

Again open to any suggestions etc.

This all sounds quite interesting, but maybe allow mcm settings for the level increases? Some people might not play a character all the way to 35 on a regular basis ....

Wait so...by level 20 you get multiple device at once? Doesn't this slightly undermine the original concept of progression?

 

Also playing around with stamina and regen (or stat in general) can be kind of dangerous since in the past many mods have effects that "stuck around" even after they should be gone.

Unless it is changed I think stamina is required to struggle off armbinder too low stamina regen might cause issue.

 

I think in original DD the Bra already cause a debuff to some combat skill, one hand and archery, maybe 2 hand don't remember...

There is a one line console command which allows characters wearing gags to speak normally. Perhaps it would be very simple to make a MCM option which allows gagged PCs to talk? This would allow players who don't like the harsh nature of late game play to avoid it without requiring you to compromise what you want to do or write separate, more complicated alternate progressions for them. 

 

Alternatively you could modify the gag's effect so that the PC's only potential interaction with NPCs is to intimate that she wants the armbinder removed- with a reasonably high chance of exploitation of course. I think this makes more sense anyway than the current state of affairs- if my hands were bound and I was gagged, I'm reasonably confident that I could convey to someone that I wanted to be untied.

 

I didn't like this change when I first read it, but now that I think about it it makes much more sense. From an in-character perspective, enemies should obviously be less concerned about some pushover adventurer than they are about the most powerful mage or warrior in Skyrim. If you wanted to keep someone like that prisoner, you would pull out all the stops- not slap a purely decorative set of leather bracelets on them and call it a day.

 

While you're adding debuffs to the items, do you think it's possible for you to add arousal or time-equipped debuffs to the chastity belt and plugs? Right now the game simply tells you that you're distracted, without giving you any indication through game play that you really are.

Debuffs and Level baded progression will be completely optional. You will be able to turn it off in MCM if you don't like it.

In order to keep all happy most of the new features will be optional

doesn't animation plays with belt equipped when arousal is high or when plugs vibrates?

It does, but even this isn't really a penalty. The animation stops combat. Plus it's the same animation every time which gets sort of boring.

 

The Cursed Armor mod for Oblivion would make your character have sex with random nearby actors when you were overly "aroused". I'd like to see some kind of effect like that for DD items. The mod displays a message stating "my desires are driving me", but those desires never actually do any driving.
