sbire Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 No' date=' it's not funny:s. That friend is actually me and I got kicked too. Although I hate censorship, but people in the Nexus chatroom I met today are really nice. Welcome aboard Dariusy. [/quote'] for sure, really funny is nothing of that. looks like a PM censorship.... total fail. what is the sense of a PRIVATE MESSAGE???
Dariusy Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 They are really nice i don't say nothing about it. But, if you are not english native, and make a little allusion or don't tell write about something who can be related to any piracy, even if you don't say it directly, you got banned, and very fast. I remember when i was in chatroom, someone told how to configure Skyrim using another computer who did'nt have administration right(who can have some crash). He got banned because when someone ask where he got the game (these questions are really popular and everyone help...to get people banned) he said : "I downloaded it using my steam computer friend..." means he wanted to put his own steam' s account to his friend computer who didn't have admin right (parents who maybe allow multiple computer' account). maybe they were thinking that it was a Steam' shared account... or that he stole his friend' account... or maybe that the "downloaded" work was not perfect.

Sensual Nautilus Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 hahaha I laughed so hard at how insecure nexus is when I tried to type "loverslab" in a comment section but it appeared as "site not allowed" instead. It wasn't even a link or something, but this is rather a weak move. I haven't done anything to spite nexus or do I intend to, but this is really pathetic. What, they afraid of talented modders migrating to Loverslab? lol
Zaldir Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 It's more because of the content of the site really. Not that all the content is so bad in itself, but it is definitely not for everyone (Nexus is 13+), and when even the ads are NSFW, that says it all.

[/quote'] I get what you're saying, but that hardly makes sense at all. If the censorship is due to innapropriate material, for better or worse, why censor it when their site is host to adult content as well. the problem here is that reason could be perfectly valid if nexus strictly opperates within the age group of 13 and below, but it is a modder's haven for children and adults. Another being is that loverslab in terms of regulation are not too different with nexus apart from the slight ease of content to take and social taboos that no ordinary group would find acceptable including nexus. Loverslab is not all about adult or sensitive content though, we are definitely more than that (although those things are good as well). Like them, we categorize what is right for the specific age group, adults for adults and children for children, even with that in place, adult content still remains accessible to an innapropriate age group on both websites. I'm not saying Nexus is bad, but they are getting a little carried away with censorship in my view with this particular action, reacting in such a degree of action regarding a mentioning of a name that would appear to be of no worth or sense to the majority who are not a part of the demographic who knows of loverslab is a bit over the top

True indeed. Just trying to find a reason. (Adult content on Nexus is filtered to 18+, not that it stops those below 18 to say that they are 18 years old though...)
Grumpf Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Wait!!! You' don't say!!! People under18 are watching Porn on the internet? I'm shocked. Let's take a quick measure that'll prevent that for good! SCN MightyCleverScript ..blabla... swap LoversLab with SiteNotAllowed End Voilà! Now the youngsters are safe and NOTHING can happen FOREVER. Problem solved once and for all.

Grumpf Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Pathetic is thinking that boys and girls of 16 years old have never seen boobs, have internet but don't know how to watch porn and are perfectly ok to play a game that involves mass murder, torture, rape and necrophilia (Vanilla I mean)...
deathparade Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 when i was young we had series on TV where they just showed boobs and asses and talked about that... times changed everything became "ooh no think of the kids it's not like they sucked tits when they where babies" And really i saw porn when i was 13 (i came pretty late to internet and TV really)

SNIP Hey, I'm just trying to find a reason. (Not directed at you Grumpf, but it seems some people here hold some kind of 'grudge' or something against me because I am a moderator at the Nexus. Please don't - I hold nothing against any of you...) I don't remember exactly when LoversLab was changed to SiteNotAllowed... Do you, Grumpf?
Guest GingerTom Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 Zaldir said: 'I am a moderator at the Nexus." To arms! To Arms! Two legs, to. Welcome.
Grumpf Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 I don't remember exactly when LoversLab was changed to SiteNotAllowed... Do you' date=' Grumpf? [/quote'] Finally we have a Nexus Modo here, I'm really pleased! I'd say several months ago. I know it's childish but it really pissed me off as I always obeyed the rules and the LL/Not allowed substitute was in my PM, not in a public post... Let me check my PM on the Nexus. I'll come back as soon as I can, it's getting late here and I have to move a friend tomorrow but I'm glad you asked as this is something that really matters to me. Cheers!
Guest GingerTom Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 Nexus is like an Ayleid ruin. You're walking along, minding your own business--when all of a sudden the ceiling trap falls straight down upon you leaving only a blood smear! Then you re-load and come to LoversLab wondering what just hit you...
thesapien Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 I first heard of LL from Nexus while it was being censored and the fact that it was censored only encouraged me further. So I say keep it up Nexus. Best advertising in the world. In addition, I wish Nexus would instaban discovered LL members! That would help us a lot, too.
adrenaline Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 I know how to give link of LL on Nexus. All you need is to find a URL redirection service, such as tinyurl.com. then you use it to get a new link like this "http://tinyurl.com/7kxslvh". You can post it without being automatically banned.
Guest GingerTom Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 I wish Nexus would instaban discovered LL members! Hey, watch it now.
Duoleb The Chosen Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 the only problem with Nexus is a dumb adm called dante and his followers
