I have been a lot of international websites' date=' LL is the most friendly website for foreigners I ever know (The second one is 9gag). It's still clear to me what happened the first time I replied on English website (4chan). I was abused by racist replies, and then I started to understand how Jews feel. After this accident, I almost shut my mouth at any international websites until I came here. Another reason why I decided to stay here is because I noticed people are not picking about foreigner's grammar problems, and willing to answer the question instead of taking you as just another "d*mn noob". So it's likely that if I asked the modeling question at the other websites instead of LL, frustration will stop me to learn how to make model. [/quote'] well, LL isnt the only friendly community website. i'm on a lot of websites and forums... some are really helpful, some are just funny, some are gaming communities where you'll always find nice people to go on a nice mission with great teamplay and without the typical "lets-make-fun-of-that-newbie-attitude". like in the real world, there are always places with assholes, but also places with nice people and maybe you might even find best friends there.

Here's what i learned; Like Las Vegas is America's toilet bowl, the Nexus is the Modding Communities asshole; every so often something edible pops out. The moderators are glorified washroom attendants making sure everyone is clean in case someone didn't wipe themselves correctly. The site is too big to maintain, It is like the wild west and they shoot to kill. My advice is to duck. Joining a site like this is the best way to tell them to quack off! Their take on adult mod and pictures is obviously financially influenced. However imo their position is silly; the site is basically a soft porn haven for 13-17 year old boys so they can play with their dolls and dress them up like barbie. Hey, I don't mind men creating steaming hot female characters. After all, fantasy, sci-fi, early comic books and anime have always framed women in tight, sexually reveling outfits with a twist of fetish. Being bi I enjoy this but I find it a bit weird that there are so FEW male character pics and mods for us gals to drool over and that any male body or reveling male armor mod is immediately called "gay" while the anti gay tolls swarm in and attack it and the artist. Anywhoos; this was a great thread to read. Not that i have to mention but i will anyway; this La-La-Land is a great community place and i am very pleased to have found it.

"My posing for you hur" and so on you can imagine the rest... To be honest I am 100% completely new to this whole scene. I have played for years now, downloaded mods, had friends who are into this whole scene but I just became involved. So i really dont know what the fuck im talking about. hehehe I do like posting my pics there as it can be fun but the little boys are truly annoying. I much prefer playing chat board games anyway but i wish this place had that picture loading feature because i would love to see some pics of some hot men but mostly women with dildos up the cracks LMFAO ark! kidding... well... not really )) ukwim. *winks* But i think you hit the nail on the head; the moderators there are really glorified babysitters and perhaps that is why they are so harsh. Most ironically, the pic that got me banned is still online over there... Something that apparently slipped that sloppy moderation staff. Hey, Nesux scouts and spies! Take the pic promoting pedophilia down already! Sanitize your sweet sacred site! Or is this also something that "works as intended"? Deleting a picture from my image section but missing out on the fact it's posted to promote the mod it depicts? A mod I should have "reported instead of using it" according to the modeRAT in question. There are four of these images! I have to admit one of them indeed is titled along the lines of "My (underaged!) character loves her new outfit". I was new to this crap and saw others doing titles like that. Seemed legit to me. As legit as my utterly 'pornographic' pictures themselves.

Seems he took down those pictures in the meantime. One of them was even titled 'Banhammer' if I remember correctly. It was back in last January or February. A cryptic picture with some kind of a countdown gauge, it had 'BANHAMMER' written above. Certain users jokingly asked if it was his hammer's health meter... The other image I was referring to was a proud depiction of his staffer's web interface to execute the actual banning process. Dammit, I should have saved these images back then, but I didn't want to [i']tarnish[/i] my computer with these foul bytes. I've read a post from a guy on another forum. He claimed responsibility for that attack in revenge for having his whole modding team banned over some petty quarrel. After the attack the site got a new URL for the first time. The one they are using right now, with separated Oblivion and Morrowind mod sections, is yet another different URL. They claim splitting it up into two separate sections was a long overdue change. tesnexus.com -> tes.nexusmods.com -> oblivion.nexusmods.com - all these URL changes over the course of five months!
