trying to install this using MO 1.3.11 causes MO to freeze, say "not responding" and i have to close it and restart. has happened twice now. when it reloads, it says Apropos is installed, but i am not going to trust a suspicious and incomplete install.

any reason it would make Mod Organizer crash? i do have a lot of mods, but not handling more than one at a time in terms of download or install.

Nope. I use MO here as well and it installs, uninstalls, moves around, just fine. I have had the symptom you describe when my archive opening program didn't work right. Because the archive wasn't opened properly, MO had trouble (as would any program expecting a valid archive)

It wasn't an Apropos issue, and it really wasn't an MO issue. Installed 7zip and made it the default for opening archives and haven't had an issue since

i use 7zip for everything. so that isnt the issue. ive never had this happen to any other mod. on that note, for some reason it was sloooooww, but opened.

it might be a computer issue. i dont know why, but everything runs just a bit slower on my machine lately. ive defragged, cleaned up temp files, disabled extra crap in the background, nothing seems to work. my cpu is newer (replaced due to failure a year or so ago, so is my main hard drive.)

Gooser, any plan to port this over to FO4? I know the lack of GetDisplayName() in F4SE is a bit of a pain.

Well, I haven't played FO4, and I don't own it. So no immediate plans.

Have been using a 2015 version for a while. Worked like a charm.

Did the usual upgrade sequence (uninstall, load, save, close, cleansave , load, save, install newest, save). On the first load after installing the newest it stoped giving me messages, wear and tear status show constantly "not tracked", console says it couldn't find descriptions for the animations. Updated jcontainers, no change, restarted the whole process with manual instalation directly into folders, no change. New game, no change.

If you have satisfied all the requirements, and cannot get proper functioning, please enable Papyrus logging, and attach an Papyrus0.log (and Apropos0.log if you can reach the MCM menu for Apropos in game).

I failed to answer this question using the Search tool, so I figured I'd ask.

How does Apropos determine how "naughty" a character has got? What I mean is, I recall playing with Apropos a while back and the protagonist being very unwilling when forced into sex, only to over time get more accustomed to being violated. However, for some reason my character seems more or less ready and willing out of the gate, even if I reload a file from just after character creation.

This is probably something I'm not resetting in either Apropos or Sexlab itself but wanted to check.

I've been playing with Apropos in my game for a while, and it seems like most everything is working, except I'm not sure about the Wear and Tear functionality. It doesn't appear that be tracking anything that I've done. Under the "Wear and Tear Actors" section, all I've ever seen thus far is:

Player - No W&T abuse yet (not tracked)

I've tried Test W&T on player, and I get the "tattoos," and the Player stats will appear un the actors setting, but I've never seen any of these effects appear during gameplay. Curious if I'm doing something wrong.

Where I can download "Apropos_Abuse_Slavetats_Textures.7z" ?  I can't seem to find it on download page.

It is bundled in the main mod.

got an issue where third party messages dont show my characters name, it's just blank, 1st and 2nd person messages work fine. its a new save/character so its not an issue in regards to that. anyone got any idea?

I thought SLO might've been the reason why Wear and Tear wasn't working for me, so I removed it and gave it another shot. Doesn't appear to be the case, so I have no clue what's going on.

I've attached my logs. Hopefully there's some clue in there as to what I've got messed up.

What's the history with this save/game? Because I see a lot of broken SL messages:

[05/08/2017 - 08:24:35PM] WARNING: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp126"
stack:
	[SexLabThread00 (0A061EEF)].sslthreadcontroller.GetEnjoyment() - "sslThreadModel.psc" Line 602

Apropos is not functioning because most of the calls into SexLab are dying like this.

Perhaps doing a full SexLab reset (in MCM), then check Papryus to see if there are any errors?

I know my way around Oblivion and New Vegas, but I'm afraid I'm a complete novice when it comes to mods with Skyrim, so I have no idea what I'm looking at with those logs.

That game is a level 21 character from a fairly heavily-modded game (Sexlab added on top of the STEP guide). Actually, there hasn't been much SexLab-related activity in that play through, as it's mostly just been SL Defeat (though SL Hormones and Cursed Loot apparently initiated a few sex sequences).

When I get a chance, I'll try resetting SexLab and see what happens after that. My initial thought was that perhaps SL Separate Orgasm might've been causing issues for me. I see Ed86 did confirm that SLSO and Apropos won't work together without a patch...

Perhaps doing a full SexLab reset (in MCM), then check Papryus to see if there are any errors?

This fixed everything on my end in what concerns wear and tear not tracking and apropos messages not coming up.

Used Sexlab's export to file feature. Save game, reload. used Sexlab's the clean system. Wait for console messages to stop. Loaded imported file. Doesn't show a difference at first, the PC still reads as "not tracked" by wear and tear. But as soon as a sex scene came up the messages were loading and it updated the wear and tear status.

I may be claiming it fixed too early since I just tried it and don't know what's it going to be like on the long run, after saving and loading a few times, but so far so good.

Can someone help me I don't get the facial abuse textures to show. Everything else works perfectly. I looked like a wreck after a while except for my pretty face.

If tats are working everywhere but the body, I suspect a Racemenu or EC setting actually. How many tats do you already have on the face? Makeup? Scars? etc.

I have no tats whatsoever. Abuse on the body works tho. I just don't get any tears or mascara smears. All i basically have on the face is the cheeks a bit red black eyeliner in red lips that's it basically. Even if i have body tattoos that still applies the wear and tear on the body. I tested that a bit. Its just the face

A little searching in this forum dug this up::

2 things to check:

1)  The NIOverride.ini disables face overlays by default (whether from RaceMenu or NIOverride).  This is due to a CTD caused when PC (or NPC) is beheaded in a kill move while having an overlay applied.  To enable it, open the NIOverride.ini and find the setting bEnableFaceOverlays and set to 1.

2)  Not enough face overlay slots.  Default is set to 3.  Remember that the overlays are used by all tattoo/overlay mods, so if you applied face tats in the RaceMenu, that reduces the number of overlays available to SlaveTats.  You can increase that number of face tats in the same NIOverride.ini.

Final thing to note, the overlays are layered, so tats applied to the first slot may get overwritten by tats applied to later slots (depends on size and transparency of tats.
