terrorofmorrowind Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 i was wondering ho heavy is this mod? The scripts only run in two situations: 1 - Responding to SexLab events, i.e. Sex Start, Orgasm 2 - W&T periodically updates - 1x hour. No scanners, etc. type scripts ok, then it must be something on my end. it seems like turning off the w&t feature fixed things.

Could be, I've noticed pauses for 1-3 seconds when Slavetats is doing the updates as well.

Welp, i didn't get this mod for the slavetats anyway. so all is good and btw the text from this mod is a HUUUGE improvement of what the md for Oblivion was lol. It was more like as if i were watching an anime.
thomastm Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Degrade not working, i set it to 3.0 and 1 hour. i sleep for 10 days nothing healing. It because i enable hardcore W&T?

Morferous Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 Tweak the json control file: WearAndTear_Effects.txt I don't see base values there. Should I add level 0 (or 10?) there and redact the base value from there?

Didn't we have this conversation a few pages back, and conclude that it doesn't update while sleeping/waiting?
numidion Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 Where should the visual effects from Wear and Tear go? The two archives contain the body overlays in top directory, and using ModOrganizer I haven't the slightest idea where to put it. Does it go somewhere in "modOrganizer/mods/apropos/textures/actors/characters/slavetats/[3 diff folders]" and I should simply replace the original files with the new textures (original 5MB after_effects_1.dds for 87MB femalebody_1 - After Effect I etc) or what?

What are you trying to accomplish - reduce the debuffs so it's less brutal, or add coverage (applied effects) to lower levels of abuse? Didn't we have this conversation a few pages back, and conclude that it doesn't update while sleeping/waiting? I'm sorry, thomastm, do you mean you and I specifically talked about this before? Or do you mean others? W&T does degrade if you sleep, but it doesn't track how many hours you sleep/wait - yet -, so it just counts as 1 hour. I plan on fixing this. But if you are saying *nothing* goes down *ever* that is what I need the logs for.

I use MO. The textures go under the skyrim textures folder, under actors\character\Slavetats. so, data\textures\actors\character\slavetats\... That's the way MO blends the folders/files using its Virtual directories. Non-virtualized (if I right-click on the mod in the left pane, and select "Open in explorer") it appears as: ...\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim\Mod Organizer\mods\Apropos Classic\Textures\actors\character\slavetats\... You shouldn't have to change any paths or locations - if you install Apropos like any mod in MO, the folders and files will be located correctly. HTH

If I recall, Apropos gives +15 to Speechcraft, if mouth (head) is not abused. Sorry for the delay. I was busy for few days and did not have time to check the forum.
Sneaksmile Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 A question ... this is a male/female aggressive Mod or it's only a male aggressive Mod? I mean if there are dialogues when the woman is aggressive or the dialogues will make reference to a man as the aggressive one even when the woman is the aggressive one? As in this kind of situation (GIFs) ... you know what I mean. EDITED - which is the last version? it's 2017?

I believe the mod currently can only detect if a scene is aggressive and which type of actors are involved. The dialogues included in the download all assume male aggressors for aggressive scenes. You can customize them tho, so if you wanted to put in the effort it would be possible to replace the messages with ones that indicate a female aggressor.... but they wouldn't make much sense if you had both male and female aggressors in the same game.

I suppose, here the people do not like women as aggressive actors, only men and futas as aggressive but futas are men you know. How can I change the dialogues?
bicobus Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 It has more to do with how the mod handle scenes and the amount of text required to cover everything. The files are in Data\Apropos\db\. Good luck

Reesewow Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 I do not want to change all the scenes, I just want to change the aggressive scenes and turn them into Femdom scenes. That actually isn't that hard to do. If you play as a female character, basically you just need to go into the data/apropos/db/FemaleActor_Male folder and look at the text files there. You can change the contents of them as much as you like, just make sure not to change the file names and to keep the formatting the same (missing commas/brackets/quotation marks will make the file unreadable by the mod, so be especially careful of that). My suggestion would be to go into all the files for the types of animations you care about and change the 3rd person section to messages you want to see in game (either replacing/adding lines or changing them to make sense from a female aggressor standpoint). Then if you set apropos to only show 3rd person messages, every M/F aggressive scene you trigger should be described as a femdom scene.

I have looked into the folder and it is supposed in that folder are the actions '' woman over man '' but everything is aggressive man over submissive woman ... that will change!
gooser Posted February 2, 2017 Author Posted February 2, 2017 Apropos, in the Classic version, will not truly support Femdom, or similar scenes. I have been working on a new version of Apropos that more fully accommodates F-F, M-M, and more flexibility in previously handled scenes. For instance, the way the logic works in Classic, scenes involving Male and Female actors that are aggressive, will not work right if the Female is the aggressor. Part of the changes for the new version is a whole new file scheme, illustrated in the attached .pdf. Ap - Sheet1.pdf

If you want an easier time with the editing, check out Vauria's Apropos Edit. It's a little Java application that makes it significantly easier to edit the files without breaking the formatting. (It'll run through jPortable as well, if you need to use a portable version of Java.)

Didn't we have this conversation a few pages back, and conclude that it doesn't update while sleeping/waiting? It does update, but other scripts from other mods seem to bump the updates, so that long waits are less efficient than a series of 1 hour waits (but still reduce more than a single 1 hour wait would). There is some loss that occurs. If you play with the new version, settings at the fastest decay (1.0) are much slower than older versions of the mod were at 3.0 setting.

That's fine. My testing showed that it took longer (26 days) to clear max damage with 24-hour waits (26 times waiting) than it did with 1-hour waits (5 days, but 76 1-hour waits). But he's the boss.
