Tried this out and.. well. My unusual habit of wrecking everything I touch did what it does best: wrecking stuff.

Nothing bounces anymore, it did before I took the nessesary steps for this to work, but now all the pretty physics are gone. And I cannot point out what went wrong. Any ideas?

Assuming you're using XPMSE2, you need to open up hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml in a text editor, ctrl+f for "NPC Prebelly", and change it to "HDT Belly".

That did not work for me. also, it's really every physic. I had TBBP enabled before, now it's gone. No boobjiggle, no buttjoggle. Oo I try to download the skeletton again, maybe that will do something.

this physics XML is designed to work with this skeleton, its the skeleton i use and its edited to use that skeleton, if you have any probs with the butt, boobs & belly bounce try uninstalling your skeleton, and the realistic forces mod and re-install your realistic forces mod first then your skeleton again and your physics should work again i had the same prob at one point and did this to sort it, hope this helps.

Also ensure you have a compatable body as some do not work with the new skeleton, i use the body included in this armor mod and it works great,

That fixed it - while I did download that skeletton first, it seems like I missed to install it. Oh well.

I got the physics now back, everything jiggles! So, uh, do I need to do something special to get the belly distortions to work? It's clipping. I bet I missed something again. I better check out.

i believe you need these nifs installed to enable collisions

and these xml files if you don't already have them

HDT collisions.7z

hdtm.xml

hdt.xml

Which is exactly, the difference between "hdtm.xml" and !hdt.xml! files ? ^_^

and why "HDT All In One 14.28 version (Edit 5 by Daie)", not have included the hdt.xml file ?

there different xml files associated to different nifs for collision items, i believe 1 is for breast collision and the other is for the belly distortion collisions

I thought the hdtm.xml was for male characters and the hdt.xml for female characters, because you have to link the hdt.xml with femalebody_0.nif and femalebody_1.nif while linking the hdtm.xml with malebody_0.nif and malebody_1.nif . If I'm right in my thinking, it goes like this:

hdt.xml is for women

hdtm.xml is for men

hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml is the "master" xml, which controls everything else, as well as the default settings.

In practice though, most people just use the default xml for women and the hdtm file for men, and don't use hdt.xml at all. I have no idea if this is a good idea or not.

I read that hdt.xml is just short for hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml to save time as it really is a long filename.

That means if you download hdt.xml save it as hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml.

[*X*] - That is 100% accurate

[*X*] - This is basically Backwards. Once you find a hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml that you want to use make a copy of it and rename that copy to hdt.xml and move it where it needs to be.

*-Beware you still need to have the hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml or hdt.xml will not function correctly, if at all, which is why I say copy and rename-*

On a side note:

I forget exactly what i need to change in the xml to make the breast "fall" under the hands when they are up near the neck.

I can't seem to find the right words to describe my problem properly.

*The breasts do fall and bounce when the hands move back down to my sides.

Here is a picture of my problem. I'm currently using idle 1 with the more bounce xml posted 2 pages back that works for the new XMPSE 2.02+

*edit*

Forgot to mention...

This problem did not start until I updated to the new xmpse 2.05, it did not occur with the old x93r50 (or whatever its name is)

So I believe it would have to be a xml issue that shows up because of the slight adjustments made to the bones in relation to my body (ADEC Manga Body DM v3)

Daiemonic "All in one Edit5" not have the hdt.xml

I think.. because HDT havok object not have the link with feamale head :-/

hdt.xml and hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml are technically the exact same file.

Unless you have something that hooks to hdt.xml specifically, everything will use the hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml.

Those files are required for the hdt physics to activate.

They contain the information that the Havok engine uses to determine how breasts\butt\belly\hands\feet\body\tails\hair\earrings (and anything else programed in the xml) all move around and interact with each other.

Without the hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml nothing will move, it will all remain static.

The reason some things require hdt.xml is because its quicker to type that than hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml when editing a .nif to attach the physics manually to an object.

At least that is how it is set up now.

I believe when HDT was first being explored things were set up differently which necessitated the need for the hdt.xml but now everything is incorporated into the hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml

can i rename hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP.xml to hdt.xml and attach it to female body?

Copy the defaultbbp version and leave it in the proper skse folder.

Then rename the copy to hdt.xml and then the answer to your question is yes.

if no one knows how to connect hdt.xml at the Nif feamle head,

I think it is enough to find a head meshe that has already hdt.xml connected to the female head

this head should work femalehead.nif

When i put your hdt all in one in my plugin folder i lose all my bounce and hdt effects, i can't figure out why.

I'm using MO and HDT bodyslide with custom preset. Maybe i have to edit an xml path directory?

Posted

I may actually have a fix for that. Backup your .xml, go into JFF (or do this manually if you know what you're doing, but i recommend JFF), and remove the two belly nodes from the .xml. That fixed it for me, and i'm also using a HDT body with the newest XMPSE. I even tried renaming NPC PreBelly as is suggested elsewhere, but still no dice, the two belly nodes period were what was screwing it up.

So that now means i gotta find a skeleton that actually plays nice with belly nodes, but in the meantime everything else works fine.

EDIT: Waaait a minute, it might actually be a body issue. Apparently HDT body doesn't support all the new stuff the newest XMPSE has. From the XMPSE thread: "Attention: NOT ALL BODIES ARE COMPATIBLE WITH XPMSE 2.0 SUCH AS HDT BODY". You can try with CT77, or follow this guide to fix it manually http://www.loverslab.com/topic/34798-fixing-skeleton-deformations-crushedtorpedo-breasts-etc/

If that fails, deleting the belly nodes from your .xml is most likely to work, though obviously bear in mind that means belly bounce and pregnancy bulges and such won't work. I myself have switched to a CT77 body, still cannot get the belly to work, so hell if i know where to go from here.

Thanks for the share. But i switched to hdt body because of all the content it provide, with hdt enhanced, pregnancy, the preset sliders and more. I installed it with xpmse the latest 2.05 and the defaut HDTpe works fine with tbbp bounce. Tha's so bad that collision and belly cant jggle but now i just don't want to switch to another body. And i just find this http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1236-devious-devices-devious-expansion-for-bodyslide2-hdt-preg-by-rustyxxl/ so perfect :D

Look at this:

This is Outstanding!!  :o Is this using the UN7B body from ANK?

Yep, only front left/front right labia is playing, clitoral area is not rigged.

so what happen to that project?

When I use your HDT All in one . I cann't have any HDT effect. So I install hdtPhysicsExtensions & HDT Havok Object v1.2 by myself. And it works. the HDT and IDLE are work.

However. I now have a weird animation on breast collision when the hands reach them as stuck on high possition. I tried to unequip the havok object but it still not work. The hands are cut into the breast now . I have encounter to this problem a long long time. And I almost get crazy. It would be very appreciate if someone can help me.

I have tried different body mesh including.. Manga CBBE ... UNPB... The problem are still here. I do think the problem are come from the hdtPhysicsExtensions. But when I use your modified all in one version..  There are no any HDT effect . So I cannot confirm it.
