Ravenbeak isn't showing up for me. I have no patches installed. Just installed the base ravenbeak file from the modpage and it is not recognizing it.

This is on a fresh game.

do you have the follower patch?

 

No patches at all.

 

i guess "patches" is the wrong word. Do you have the Follower Addon by Shane4244?

no, but that was my theory of what's wrong with the connection - i had it on one computer and had the same problem as you. i didn't have it on the other and it worked. back to the drawing board.

so do i have to disable defeat or submit before attempting to fight bandits?

and is death alternative a hard requirement?

DA is not a hard requirement but you will not be able to access SS without it unless you use one of the other mods in the description to get to it. neither defeat nor submit will be a problem - they happen on knockdown, SS triggers on blackout. that's assuming you have DA. I'm trying to get the authors of both to add SS as an outcome but neither hang around here much anymore.

For a time Raven Beak Prison was available to Simple Slavery with the "patch", but after installing/activating more mods it was greyed out again - in the same playthrough. So the problem might not be direct in Raven Beak Prison or SS but with another mod. 

 

 

Another thing i found was that the parasite from Cursed Loot gets removed when entering the auction which causes the removal quest to break. So either the quest should be completed or the parasite should be respected in any way.

i know Goubo (the Defeat author) is planning a big update soon, so he's busy. maybe it'll be easier to contact him after that ?

first place i'd start looking based on that theory is their follower mods, but it could also be a load order  issue as well....

(personally I haven't tried either way, i don't see the appeal to raven)

This is for player only currently, no way to sell NPC slaves to or from player possession.

jraser, does the maria eden defeat event work for you?

 

I'm getting nothing, no error from the handle failing, no debug from Maria.

 

Edit: Oh, you haven't updated at all, you're still looking for quest MariaEdensSlave which no longer exists...

I mean the whoring aspect isn't really working, but compatibility with DEC was the focus anyway.

okay, yeah, me 2.0 is a complete rewrite. SS will not be compatible at this time.

  • Defeat is back - if you enter the surrender position while being hit by an enemy you are sent instantly to the slave auction (HouseOfBurden has to be installed)
  • Slavery ModEvents are now bound to Pimp - third party mods (eg. simple slavery) send the player into forced whoring now.

 

I came here to ask you if it was working for you before realizing that SS won't even try to use it because the quest that you use for detecting that ME is installed no longer exists. MariaSlaveQuest was replaced with Maria000 or something, so you need to look for a different quest to detect 2.0.

 

Anyway, when you get around to fixing the quest, so ME is detecable, let me know if the event is actually working, which is what I came here for. I'm getting nothing on my end. The player enslaved by mod event is working, just not the defeat by, which is odd. I wasn't sure if I was missing something or if it was broken. Figured I would ask you in the case you were working on it on an unreleased version before asking zaira.

Well, we're trying to get a standardized slavery system across the major LL slavery mods, and many expressed the opinion that slaves should be much cheaper. That's why the prices came down.

Just don't let the prices fall too far, those poor slave drivers have it pretty tough in this economy.

i'll understand the idea for building a standard system for all the mods, but we need to bring back to those with that concern that:

if slaves were sold at these prices everybody could afford their own slaves and not just the rich...the blacksmith in whiterun wouldn't be struggling to make supplies for the soldiers when asked she'd have her own slaves to do it for her...

Low prices are certainly not a good thing.  The effort put into training needs to be worthwhile! There needs to be some reason for the lazier Nord wankers to stop doing what their doing and go out to do an honest day's work   ;)

 

And the better trained, the higher the value too
