Arcturus7777 Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I figured out how To add weights to custom races and followers. But deciding what to use as a reference to adjust armor to fit is confusing. I load a unp body then a sevenbase body then a 7base tbbp( I added copied weights from a unp pregnancy body here on this site to the tbbp). So I end up with a unp 7base body with breast butt and pregnancy weights. If I was going to start working on armor to make it fit this body, how would I reference it? If I choose the female.nif there are no sliders. But there is no prebuilt reference for 7base, so do I need to make one?

Has anyone had success trying this themselves?If your body mesh has pregnancy, ie when you are pregnant, you look pregnant without the armor on then.Open bodyslide, select outfit studio, in outfit studio, select load reference, use the search for nif and find the nif for your player body, load female body 0.nif as the reference. The load the outfit, find the female body 0.nif for the armor you want to make pregnancy to work with. All these files are somewhere in the skyrim data/meshes. It varies from there, armor may be under armor or clothing, or have its own file folder. Now you should have the reference, and the outfit loaded. Do not worry if you can not see the outfit. In the upper right is meshes / bones. Meshes should be highlighted, click on bones. The top selection under bones should be belly. Highlight belly. The picture on the left should show some blue in belly area. Over the picture are some menu selections from the left select then3rd option, in the pull down, there should be a selection "copy selected weights" click on that. I always do this twice, ie I go back to bones and select something else, then, select belly again, usually the second time there is a lot more blue. Then I copy the weights again. Then you go to the first menu above the picture and select export, and copy the new nif over the female 0 . Nif of the armor. Ie replacing it. The you do the same process for the female body 1. Nif. Ie load female body 1. Nif as reference and the armor female body 1 as the outfit . Do all steps and export. You should probably make copies of the armor meshes before you overwrite them. The only time things went bad for me was when I was using a manga pregnacy and butt weights on a unp body. Too big a difference in size. Sevenbase and unpb are really close.

So... i manage to fit the armor on the body all ok, slider working, tbbp body on it, everything is ok, but in game the breasts are crushed, if i do not copy weights, the body get crushed breasts, if i copy the weights everything crushed. What i try so far without sucess, i try to make the skin partition on outfit studio, i try to remove the skin partition, but outfit studio don´t make it from zero, i try to compare and adjust the bones, i check all the scales, really don´t know were this problem come from, i already made a lot of conversions, and this one... i knew i could be a challenge, but now i got to a dead end, don´t know what to do from here. Cell, thanks for the reply. In game i am using the extended xp32 here from loverslab. But why i could get this problem only with this mesh? In all my conversion i never had this problem. The only difference this time is that i have to play with the scales in nifscope a lot so outfit studio could even see the mesh, that´s why i think is a problem with the skinpartition, but can´t find it... I will take a look in the skeleton that i am using in outfit studio (never have to worry about that...)

I made a quick check in 3dmax, and the skinning seens to be fine, i try to keep away from max, don´t like it so much... But now i am really lost... i try to export the pieces in obj format and put together in outfit studio in a complete new body, them reskin using outfit studio tools, and the problem again... really don´t know were could be the problem anymore, the obj file was fine, scales ok everything ok. And is just with this pieces. I try to make a body with breasts flatness in -100, get´s better but is still crushed for the sides etc.
Arcturus7777 Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Ok, so I am doing step 3 in the guide and converting outfits to my un7b body. Everything is going good until I hit gati, the black and red see thru chain outfits. They are unp ready, so I load them delete the old body add the new body. The only part of the outfit you can see is the bottom part that covered the more droopy unp breasts. Using the brush to move the outfit high, up out of the body I get the outfit straps fairly good, but the middle part looks like the Rocky Mountains. If I lower it just a bit it reappears under the skin again. Are there other tools, I am missing. I just started doing this yesterday. I am only using the up, down and smooth brushes. The mountains I am referring to are in the stomach area.

I'm new with Outfit Studio, I have tried to convert all remodeled armor to UNP TM body (with breast, butt and belly) but some of them got black texture issue. I don't know what cause it and I really want what cause it. My steps always are: - New project -> Convert: CBBE to UNP -> Load clothes mesh - Delete current clothes's body and Comform All - Turn slide CBBEToUNP and Set Base Sharp - Load UNP TM body into project, fix clipping, Comform all and Duplicate Shape - Do Copy Selected Weight for Breast, Butt and Belly for almost clothes piece. - Export

It's in Newmiller's piercings and it's the neck jewels with chains that go to the nipple rings. I found it difficult to move the end of the CHAIN to attach it to the nipple rings after I had moved the nipple ring. The chain would .... fold ..... (can't think of a better description). Then I discovered it was "folding" at the edge of the circle that you see representing brush size. So I made the brush size bigger and it worked a lot better. Bigger brush for coarse movement, smaller brush when I just needed to move a little bit. Am I doing that the right way? The chain came out a little wavy but it looks ok in-game. Also.... is there a way to select 2 or more shapes so they can be moved as a group? That nipple ring had the ring, a gem, a small link of chain, and some fine chain connecting the gem. If I could have moved those as a group it would have made the whole job much easier

But at that point your better off using 3dsMax, it's a lot more easier to get a higher quality result.

olivstou Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Hi, I'm new here and on Outfit Studio, and I have a few questions. - I'm trying to convert the Bosmer Armor Pack and the Ritual Armor of Boethiah to bodyslide and HDT. Thanks to Guide #1, I worked it out somehow but I'm not very happy with my "brush" skills. If you have some pointers as how to use these tools, it would be helpfull. - Is it possible to re-work an existing bodyslide outfit ? If I want to add some zap sliders, can I just open a (.xml) project, do Guide #8, then save ? - And lastly, I'd like to convert some of Caliente Vanilla outfits to HDT, but it seems these outfits don't have breast and buttock bones. Is there a way to add HDT support for these rather painlessly ?
