Scardust Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 May be to soon to ask but is there an XML file that helps converting armors to bombshell body with belly support? There should be a 7base bombshell conversion slider in the stock BodySlide/OS package you downloaded. Otherwise if it's not their you can try downloading stuffed_bunny's excellent bodyslide UNP package. Hm, it seems that I am affected by the strange BS/OS bug where it always crashes when you try to copy bones or weights. So I need to wait until someone does an overhaul conversion for 7b bombshell. Thanks anyway for your help.
Suke Posted May 26, 2014 Posted May 26, 2014 I'm really having trouble with presets and templates, I was able to get the TBBP in but now I switched to HDT Body and I get the "HDT Body" Template to come up under the reference but when I load it, there is no mesh also can't get my preset I made with the hdt body to show up either. So yeah kind of stuff cause i really need the sliders in OS but there are no sliders or Meshes.
ArgusSCCT Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I've been trying to convert some of the Immersive Armors to a certain body shape, nonetheless, I've hit an obstacle, the body and the armor I want to convert, don't match with their shape. I know outfit studio doesn't have a working offset feature, so does anyone know how to make the shapes match with Nifskope or Blender, preferably Nifskope, I don't know how to work with blender and last time I tried it was confusing.

When you import into OS, does the body and outfit not line up? Is this the problem your running into? If so I only know of a way to fix it in 3dsMax. I don't know blender or nifskope well enough for this though.

Suke Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I got 99% of everything working only thing I'm not sure about is in game after i convert a armor I usually get stretching between the legs it's only when the legs open after i equip like a cuirass or clothes. I have been having this problem with most the armors i've converted do you think it's a weighting issue? etc here is an example.

Double check the relevant area has all the right weights like pelvis and thighs and such.
damn_gurrrrl Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Hi, I'm having trouble using guide 7. I'm trying to create a slider that will allow female panties to bulge in the front so that it looks like she is a futa. Everything through step 8 is fine, I have the project saved and a file called sack1.xml in the SliderSets folder. I assume I need to copy/paste this into a body xml file: <Slider name="Sack" invert="false" small="0" big="100"> <datafile name="BodySack" target="Body" local="true">BodySack.bsd</datafile> </Slider> I'm not sure where to put this code. I have tried putting this code into several different body xml files in the SliderSets folder (such as CalienteSets.xml and CT77Armor.xml) but the bodies will actually disappear from selectable bodies in bodyslide when I paste the code in there. I made sure I wasn't pasting it in the middle of another slider. Am I putting this in the wrong XML files? what should I do?

Or specify the new slider's file location (.bsd file)
acewin Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I am able to get armors/clothes to fit great delete the base that comes with the outfit and export. My results are: nif file shows nothing but black in preview window in niftools but item shows up in game looks to fit good but my body disappears when equipped. What am I doing wrong?

My results are: nif file shows nothing but black in preview window in niftools but item shows up in game looks to fit good but my body disappears when equipped. What am I doing wrong? Well if you delete the body, you can't expect it to show the body...
acewin Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Got it figured out, yea. I was deleting the original body but not copying my custom one back in - duh. Got another issue though, I think with offsetting shape. AS you can see in the pic the bottoms are fine but the top got all off although looks perfect in OS. Only thing I can think of is I used offset on the top and not the bottom (had to). Reading through it looks like move vertices is preferred but When I input my values and click ok it doesn't change..
acewin Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Success! The move vertices is way more of a pain though, but I got it eventually.. even made the strings a little longer. looks good, this is a great piece of software!
acewin Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Another issue, mesh looks good in OS but have some discrepancies in game, tried twice and slightly different but in same area. Thoughts?

Lein Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Looks like a weighting issue maybe. Make sure you dont have any stray boneweight splotches on your skirt.
acewin Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Will check that out, in the meantime has anyone experimented with positioning things uh.. where they shouldn't be for example: looks good in OS but in game is off....
acewin Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Woot got some decent results after much trial and error...
NYINEGY Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 great guides but I do give up after 40 hours on this all my conversions come up with a huge nick seam I kind of tried every possible combination for caliente tbbp advanced conversion ofsweet and sexy langerie http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25389/?I even tried editing the out fit by offsettingt the base shape .. adding mass to it and such !nothing works without a seam ... and I have pfs body changer so i tried the resulting out fits on all sort of bodies ( figured maybe unp would be better) but obviusly the seam stays!

Try disabling the lockseam sliders. (Check your outfit's .xml file and delete relevant entries) If that doesn't solve your problem, then your reference skeleton is bad, or the outfit your using was badly weighted and would need to have it's skin reset in 3dsMax.

I TRIED DELETING AND EVEN CHANGING VALUES OF INVERT CLAMP AND HIDDEN >> NOTHING as for skeleton I am using xp32 for hdt and tbbp and I literally followed this guide! meaning I Used config.xml that came with it! but i get the same seam even if I use my system base shape like in the guide of changing outfits!
R4PID Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 So all I'm doing is adding BBP to some armor. I load the reference and the outfit then use the mesh tools to get rid of any clippings. After that I go to Bones and click on the "NPC L Breast" and "NPC R Breast" then go to Shape and hit Copy Selected Weights (while I have the correct mesh selected). There is only one mesh for the outfit and one mesh for the body and I apply the weights the outfit. Then I export and overwrite. I did this with one outfit and it worked pretty well. I had to go back in and adjust more to fix some clipping due to BBP from the body. I tried this again on a second outfit from the same mod package and the body looked all kinds of screwed up... I pretty much turned into a tentacle monster. AFAIK the BBP does work, it's just the body is screwed up. Is there a way to fix this?

You shouldn't be applying BBP to both armour and body meshes. Just the armour mesh.
parruyo Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 OK, when I did this in OS, I know I copied the bone weights to every mesh in the outfit (I think there's only 3). I went into Bodyslide, selected the outfit, selected my preset, said, "make bodies" and it put the _0 and _1 nifs in the right place. When my character wears the outfit and does the sexy idle, her nipple piercings move but the outfit doesn't. Clearly I have missed something. I'll have to try again. hehehhe OMG! I finally got one! hahahahha OK, so using Duplicate Shape to get my custom bodyshape into the outfit in OS causes a neck gap. Using the Save Project As... and ticking the box to automagically copy the reference shape into the outfit gives me the outfit with no neck gap. AWESOME! Now I notice that she clips through a couple spots in the butt when she wiggles her ass. So I have a little more reading to do. I am trying to avoid having to add more "space" between the outfit and the body as I like the skin tight look of the pants. You can explain how to fix my neck because the same thing happens to me.

Right, I was just explaining that the only thing left over is the body and the outfit mesh. I am only applying BBP to the outfit. Here's a screenie.
