Is the bodyslide version in the CBBE mod up-to-date with bodyslide 2.1a?

 

Yes, as said in both descriptions, both change logs, the sticky comments and some post I added somewhere on LL. ;)

 

I was just wondering because when I "Build Batch" some armors don't change shape and some pieces are zapped/missing that I did not zap myself.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what I am doing wrong...trying to setup CBBE, bodyslide, and HDT, all in MO.

 

I have used the guide for MO setup on the Bodyslide main page to include running the executable through MO.

 

However, my new body does not show up in the game, as far as I can tell. For example, I have built a slender body such as the 'Girl Next Door' preset, but I seem to be getting the standard CBBE body in the game.

 

Is there something I might be missing? The only thing I can think of is that Bodyslide crashes when I have MO set to run as an administrator, which was advised for both Bodyslide and MO.

Do you have the Remodeled Armor for BodySlide mod installed? Open its file tree and remove the femalebody/femalehands/femalefeet.nif files. They will be removed in ChronoTrigger77's next update.

 

Make sure BodySlide is loaded either after or in the same mod as CBBE.

That worked! I now seem to have the correct body in game.

 

Howevetr, the HDT effect no longer works when unclothed. It was working fine before, but now it doesn't. Looks like I need to go back and dig into that now!

Now that Bodyslide is finally updated to 2.1a! :) (Yeah i am late :P thank you very much for the update :D) I wonder will the previous clothing and armor slider sets and shape data will work on Bodyslide 2.1a as well? or you have to rebuild it from scratch using Outfit Studio from BodySlide 2.1a?

Whatever worked in CB++ or BodySlide v1.4/2.0 will still work in BodySlide v2.1a.

Somebody can explain how replace the hands with nifskope? is of glove that come with hands.

 

Why do you want to replace the hands of a gloves mesh? You can open up both NIFs in NifSkope, delete the hands branch from the one, and CTRL+C/V the branch from the other one.

I have Ebon Shroud Mashup and the fingers is deformed and autor say that replace with hands of my body but i don't know how make exactly. Sorry my english.

Hello peeps !

 

I ran in to some trouble with one of my conversions. The problem is with this certain armor and it's crashing the game every time I equip it in-game.

 

Here's what I've tried so far:

- Re-checked the boneweights, if the problem lies there, but everything is in check.

- Tried the original mod to check if that one had the same trouble, but no. It's only crashing AFTER being converted from CBBE to 7B

- Checked the converted meshes in Nifskope, but all seemed okay when I compared the converted files to the original files

- Updated my Skeleton and animation mods, but the problem still persists

- Tried to equip the rest of the converted wearables (boots and gloves), but they work fine. Only the Cuirass is causing it

 

So now I'm in awe that what could be the problem. It's already clear to me that Outfit Studio can break the meshes to condition that they cannot be opened with Nifskope, but could the OS break the meshes so badly that it could be the cause of those crashes?

Welp - I just tried doing my first conversion (tried doing one of the corsets from Aradia) and it worked perfectly. Except. For some weird reason, the ribbon that does up the front of the corset is invisible ingame (or I suppose it could just be massively displaced from the model)... I have checked in outfit studio, and nifscope, and looked at allt he files, and every one shows the corset ribbon there... What could cause this/how to fix this?

I am using un7b body with the xms extented skeleton. And here is what I am trying to do with followers.

 

I want to add belly and butt and breast weights.

 

Some followers like Elly and aname and bryndld(I forget how to spell this one.). Have radically different bodies than the body I am using, so when I add the weights there are huge neck gaps, ie bigger than a devious device collar.

 

This also happens when I put newly weighted clothing on them, but not vanilla newly weighted clothing.

 

I thought using new leis clothing to remove the body that comes with the clothing and to and the body, not the un7b body, but the female nifs that come with the follower. That way I used the red lei a for one body, blue for another, purple for another. But so far I get the same neck problem. I have not even bothered to check hands or feet, but I did notice the hands and feet were offset nearly the width of the wrist on one follower

 

Help with weights please.

 

By used I meant used as a reference body in bodyslide. So with leia clothing I used the aname body as a reference to get the clothing to fit and then added weights.

 

I noticed one other thing, it is not the head moving up that causes the gap, it is like the body is compressed down.

I'm having a bit of an issue for some reason when I try converting certain armors like from chinese modding sites etc some don't open in Outfit studio. Like when I load the outfit it loads up but there is nothing there just the reference body. Any idea why this might be?

Hey guys :)

 

I wonder if it's intentional ? when i set Shoulder Width to 100% on Outfit Studio it makes the shoulder closer to the body (It looks like default 0% on Bodyslide) but this wasn't the case seen in Bodyslide 2.1a when i set Shoulder Width to 100% it makes the shoulder wider which is looks right to me.

 

Sorry if this wasn't a bug but it's making me confusing to me when i set some sliders to 100% it gives the negative effect on Outfit Studio like decreasing the parts of the body instead of increasing them.

I'm having issues with the ZAP slider. In the previous version I had no problems, but with 2.1a turning on the ZAP slider deforms/offsets the body/mesh even when using a standard CBBE body and armor. Also, when saving and applying the changes it doesn't seem to apply the mask and the armor still shows texture clipping.

 

I've seriously hit a wall on how to proceed. I need to be able to mask certain armor/clothing to prevent clipping.

 

Let me just do a brief run through of what I do..

 

1/ (Skipped details) The armor is conformed to the body and all the sliders don't show any clipping.

2/ Bone weights copied to each mesh.

3/ Using the 'inverted' masking tool I select  the areas I want to hide on the basebody. Usually areas that clip in-game.

4/ Create a new ZAP slider, toggle it (which then distorts the meshes) and then in properties change values to 100-100 (I've tried with or without entering values - same result).

5/ Save project.

 

Am I missing something? I can't work this out.

 

Help would be appreciated.

Did you try it in-game (after building in BodySlide) yet? This behavior is normal in Outfit Studio, because that's what zap sliders do - move the affected parts.

 

What BodySlide will do later is check what parts are moved by the zap slider and remove them. Currently, you can't use OS to add a zap slider and export using that zap applied directly.

After hours of faffing about with this &*%^#, it all came down to me not clicking a checkbox. Just great :( Didn't see the checkbox. I think it was different before.

So I'm trying to add HDT to an outfit using this tutorial: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1284221-os-tutorial-copying-tbbp-or-similiar-weights/

 

Followed every step, tried both variants, but when I later open the outfit with nifskope I get a screenfull of errors like so:
