The bug in question causes the magic unequip sfx to repeat indefinitely while your hands are being restricted. My hypothesis is that it has something to do with the zadlib_UDPatch papyrus script using an older iteration of it's source which had a bug that would cause the system to be unable to unequip spells in the characters right hand, instead infinitely looping and unequiping the spell in the left hand from a simple typo. I tried to compile the script myself to test if it was the culprit, but I was unable too as I'm quite inexperienced. Any help on solving this issue is greatly appreciated

So a double plug + belt leaves PC perfectly calm. To be frank, im reasonably sure its something with the OSL aroused, as interactive arousal pretty much gives the same issue - decreases arousal drasticly when it shouldnt. Will this mod work with SL Aroused NG? Kinda miss things just working, and while sure, its almost certainly something in my build causing incompability, im not sure i have it in me to do another rebuild to find the perpetrator. After a few too many hours of experimentation issue seem to stem from Vigor-DT addon. Read somewhere that OSL uses "hits" to adjust arousal, an introducing DT in skyrim can have an unexpected effect, such as "pull" spells becoming push, as there arent supposed to be negative values. Anyway, if any of you run into the same issue - do look for sources of damage treshold as potential sources. Edited September 11, 2025 by nilead

Maybe you can check in UD MCM debug fix menu if there is not some rogue effect left from orgasm which decrease arousal. Removing only UD can be problematic, as for that to work you also need to temporary remove DD and all mods using DD. That would reset everything DD relevant (quests, NPCs). In UD MCM, you can select option to remove all devices at once from selected actor. You dont need to remove the devices one at the time 1

Some devices (which are literslly from this mod, abadon restrains) and also some devices from DD NG, crit almost never happens... Had tested removing add item effects from all items and then events stops, so UD itself is adding items removed in MCM. Had also tested without other mods that could add devices, such as DeviousCurses, with same result.

In that case, would the following work? go somewhere secluded Save deactivate UD, ALL DD mods including the ones requiring DD save again reactivate DD and all mods?

Usually for me that bug goes away when you press the debug option for the busy character in the mcm. But recently in the previous version I sometimes got it too and the debug menu didn´t remove it. Probably was something that isn´t caused by this mod but still interferes in some capacity.

I have it active currently on my character wirh the ID xx156EEB. I am currently using debug -> fixes -> unequip slot [SLOW] -> slot 46 to get rid of it, but it is still annoying.

flim Posted September 28, 2025 Posted September 28, 2025 hi, not too sure if this have been reported and most importantly, i am not too sure if it is my problem, set up and all or this is really the bug. here, i will go into trhe detail now. my character was unlucky to encounter vampire thrall, so long story short, i use killall command. then i wanted to get rid of unwanted stuff onto those thrall. by chance, i am able to transfer all of my stuffs over. yes, that included the devices my character is eqipped. and even though the equipped armbinder is transferred over, my character is still in armbinder pose. (this is not important). I don't mean anything. just wanna ask if this is a bug or something. because once the devious device is equipped on the character, without the key, there should be no way to remove or transfer and yet i was able to do so. i am certain it is this unforgiving device mod which i had verified by starting new with the UD and still have the same bug as mentioned (i even break the key for collar to make sure) and without UD mod, device stay eqipped firmly.

This can also come from another mod starting a scene and not ending that scene. I had the same thing after playing Forbidden Tome, after the initial Urak lock scene. You can try to revert to a savegame before that. I personally did not find a solution other than that.

Oh, and here's the text that was written in the console when I tried to equip the device (this is just an example; similar text was on other devices): [UD, !ERROR! , T=207.945007] : Iron Collar (Short Chain) (character) can't be locked because it's patched incorrectly!!!! Check patch order and try to lock the device again! I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. Please, has anyone encountered this and can help me?

I had this issue when i had the included patches active on top of synthesis. Turn off the patches and just keep synthesis, since synthesis handles the patching (I believe is how it works, anyone correct me if I'm wrong)

I reinstalled UD and didn't select any of the sub-patches the mod itself offered, but that didn't change the situation. But thanks for trying anyway.

That's annoying, only other thing I can think of is some other patch is active in your plugin list. Since you reinstalled without the patches I would think they aren't there but double checking just incase wouldn't hurt. Could also be that the patcher doesn't actually cover certain devices from your mods, but I don't actually know how the patcher does the patching. Good luck with figuring it out.
