XDbored Posted July 9, 2025 Posted July 9, 2025 (edited) this mod seems to bloat DCL scripts, when used alongside POP and DCL, Devious Cursed Loot - Not very compatible (but works).* will eventually break papyrus scripts in your savefile by causing constant stackdumps, UD and POP are otherwise working on my current load order which i hear is unusual for POP, and in my experience UD 1/2 always broke saves, but UD3 feels like it works much better, i may of also had the DCL script bloating issue back when i tried UD1/2, i am trying to cut DCL out of my load order for now, but i wonder if POP and or UD could be made a bit lighter on papyrus script load, if that happens it maybe more compatible. For example, if the PC gets bound by bandits (via Simple Assault), she'd need a straightforward way for her binds to be removed. So I set all the DD options to Easiest, and all UD options to what seemed easiest. Yet still the PC gets equipped with randomly selected devices that can't be gotten rid of, because they're timed, require a key, a stolen sweet roll... Is there a way to blacklist specific items? Or can DD/UD options be set so that each struggle animation will rid the PC of one device, and it's always successful? As an alternative I tried Devious Devices Helpers, but that doesn't do chastity belts and seemed unstable in my load order. Are there better alternatives nowadays? Where the PC can get help from a nearby friendly NPC in the case of rope bindings, someone with a knife for leather, and a blacksmith for iron?

There are devices that are always unable to be struggled from. Mostly steel devices and closely related can not be escaped from without keys. (In the patch I am using the newer leather chastity belts are handled like steel devices and I can´t struggle from them for example.) You can disable the groups they commonly occur in, being bras, belts (which are both always unescapable with my patch) and both types of cuffs as they are fairly often steel versions you can´t struggle out from, if you don´t care mutch about them. In the "custom modifier tag" tab in the MCM you can disable specific modifiers, like those tampering with accessibility. If you can not identify the options you want to disable, use the "custom modifier" tab to identify them by doing this: Under custom modifiers there should be 2 popup windows where you can chose stuff to display. Set the left one to framework modifier. Use the right one to inspect different modifiers from this mod that your devices will have. Under "Base Details" -> "Tags" you will the see which Tag that modifier uses and can either adjust them there in the options, or uncheck the tag under the tab "custom modifier tag". For timed locks: Under the "patcher" tab you can disable timed locks for patched devices. So I believe only abadon devices might have timed locks with that turned off. Had tired of mesages so disabled them, but they are still present in screen. Exept this mod is going fine. My warries that it will destroy other dd mods were nonsless. Please repair mcm configuration. P.S. i dont understand mod mechanics yet but it is fun mod is going ok, one time had error message after 20 hours playing

Because the sets that those equip are not affected by the MCM options.

I dont use goo by myself, but it is something about it in screen notifications sometimes but other devices that i locked in mcm are equiped regulary by mod no big problem, just dont like full suits, not beautiful

I did not see an item named as Punisher Suit in Bodyslide, I guess because it is possibly a catsuit. I assume this because another time it was in the inventory of a dead NPC, and when I picked it up, it disappeared. I did not check it with showinventory, I had several hundred item in my inventory.

I think it is from US, but same diff. As an abadon related item the item deconstructs when you pick it up. In older version you used to get the black goo, gold and lockpicks that you normally get once you struggle out of an abaon item, if you pick it up from someone or somewhere, but in the newest release that is either bugged or intentionally removed. You can use the console and type in help "punisher suit" You will find the name of it with the item ID. Then you can use player.additem xxxxxxxx 1 with xxxxxxxx being the item ID you found. Then you should have a copy in your inventory that you can equip to see if it has a model. Alternatively, you can drink a "cursed goo" as that equips it too. If the item is equipped in your inventory and not on your body, you can use the debug menu in mcm, selct yourself and click fixes -> general fix. That will will remove bugged devices in most cases. kurotatsu Posted July 12, 2025 Posted July 12, 2025 Punisher Suit is indeed from UD and equipped in set by Cursed Goo. It's catsuit combined with mittens, which can produce some problems in equipping when gloves/mittens already worn. My guess - there was mutex timeout error in console.
Prexz Posted July 12, 2025 Posted July 12, 2025 (edited) Sadly ud 3.01 causes lag spikes while traversing the overworld and simultaneously having cursed loot installed. which is a shame, because version 2.1.1 didn't have these issues. Since it's kinda difficult for me to get rid of cursed loot in my current setup, i might have to switch back to 2.1.1 for the time being. will there be a fix in the future? LA_k1 Posted July 12, 2025 Posted July 12, 2025 So I had a problem with crit mechanic working, But nor Body Shader, nor hud highlighting (if i set crit to be mandatory its obvious its damaging stamina) latter was easy to figure, its just soft incompatibility with trueHUD disable vanilla bars feature, toggle it of > crit shows on vanilla bars as expected With Body Shader I had to spend some time to kinda figure out problem.Turns out, on my skyrim installation magic responsible for shader would not apply it, so i attached small script to this magic effect to manualy apply shader effect from script onEffectStart, and it worked. I think it's another incompatibility, i just cant figure with what ( perhaps some game engine fix or whatever) idk why im writing it as problems arguably on my side, and i fixed them anyway, just leaving paper trail i guess * MySetup: Skyrim SE, UD 3.01, Clean Save, Heavy Mod Load order, All dependencies including optional installed. **I attached example of my quick fix script UD_CritEffectShader_Green_ME_Script.psc
crococat Posted July 13, 2025 Posted July 13, 2025 Disabled all mods (ingame) that add DD items exept UD but still have equiped on me items that i disabled in UD mcm (suits and corsets) Now read notifications and sure UD is adding items by equipped items effects And have multiple items equiped on one slot ( 6 plugs or 2 armbinders or other) Debug removing items is ok, but feature that have to remove duplicated items dont work No critical problem, just strange to me Previous problem with screen notificstions was solved, mcm setings applied only after closing game and launching again Now my inventory is full of DD devices, would be great to have chance to lost them (on sleep or on device equip) Anyway very interesting mod, my posts are not critical at any point As i am often sending to slavery auction it breakes first plug quest (or solves it) anyway cant pass

All the pre requisites and all other mods installed function normally. I have attempted a full re install of all pre requisites, UD, Frameworks and so on. Im now at a loss for things to try to remedy this - If anyone has some Ideas the help is much appreciated

Im now at a loss for things to try to remedy this - If anyone has some Ideas the help is much appreciated it usually means that mcm script is stack if you started new game it happens with heavily Moded load order,There are guides how to set up save file in this case, to Check if this is the problem you can start new game with as little extra mods as possible. Or if you used ongoing save, There is a guide how to install UD in this case on main page, and 3.01 version also requires new save if you decided to update. Edited July 13, 2025 by LA_k1

Also Sexlab mcm was broken if i start with UD. Started with minimal mods (ESMs amd SkyUI) and then add UD and all is ok

And the mod files aren't overwritten by some older version? Because the "--BACK--" button is not in that menu, no matter what interface settings are used. The latest version has "-BACK-" there.
XDbored Posted July 18, 2025 Posted July 18, 2025 my new save has a issue when SLS the collar equip forcegreet sometimes plays while the player is already collared and then the zadPlayerScript in DD NG, and the UD_CustomDevice_EquipScript in UD seem to fight each other, i think they maybe trying to equip 2 different collars, and it loops the script each time they swap, eventually stack dumping papyrus, binding has a OnObjectEquipped event that bloats from the looping and then falls victim in the stack dumps. Lydiaisgreat Posted July 19, 2025 Posted July 19, 2025 During sexlab animation scenes, my character ignores the fact that she's gagged and opens and closes her mouth as she would without a gag. Outside of sexlab animations, gags do force her mouth open. Also during short animations like the random tug at her belt that happens every now and then, her mouth remains open. In my previous playthrough without UD, that problem didn't occur. Any ideas why this would happen? Did I somehow mess up the sexlab installation? I'm a modding novice, so any advice is welcome.

Console repeatedly threw an error (every few seconds) that it could not find actor with key after unlocking a lock from a companion. It ended up keeping my character in a frozen animation and the companion in a struggle animation and I was not sure how to stop it so I shut the game down. I also get strange behavior from lockpicking locks. I can unlock a lock but it won't register as being unlocked until I renter the minigame a second time. When it unlocks I am still in the second minigame with no reason to complete it so I exit. Not sure if anyone else has experienced either of these things.

In the debug option in the mcm you can use the fixes -> general fix option to remove these loops on the respective actors. It also removes items that are equipped in the inventory but are not fully equipped under DD logic. 1
