I share your dislike of Synthesis. I am still using UD 2.1.1 because of a couple outstanding issues in 3.x the last time I tired it, but also the xEdit patching scripts still worked in 3.x the last time I tried it. Much easier and safer to use than Synthesis. I hope that they keep working in the future.

Got an issue, two actually.

 

Firstly:

Timelocked devices, are broken, when they are applied the locks apply and exist and so on, and those timers do not count down, ever, it doesn't matter if I progress time ingame, or irl with the game left running.

To note: The mod definitely does understand the passing of time, as the "Locked for" timer increases properly, but the timelocks don't count down, so all these "3H timelocks" and so on I get from things, nope, those are basically just permanent.

tried disabling timelocks, indeed I have them disabled by default now because it's annoying to deal with the bugged state.

 

Secondly:

The debug menu listing applied devices does not work, just flat out doesn't.

I try the thing to scan for devices on my character: doesn't update, doesn't remove devices I removed, doesn't add devices I add. "Unlock all" still works, but nothing from rescan slots.

Consistently getting 3 orgasm exhaustion debuffs (main mod, OAroused and SLAroused backport-compatible API's???)

just from one climax. Using OSL Aroused 2.8.2 and UD 3.1, not sure if that's my rig being slow or just some scripting being funky.
Edit: Happens on SexLab P+, sex orgasms. Cannot reproduce on regular version.

- The Synthesis patching steps are as convoluted as they can possibly be, describing the outdated UI.

Dealing with "UD detected that 11 devices are patched incorrectly" which come from base DD mod somehow, and UD addresses me to check SKSE log (which one?) where can't see anything related, sadly. Might need a bit of tweaking and clarification.

- solved by fully removing the patch, recreating it from the scratch in Synthesis (tool's issue??), assigning ignore lists for several other mods

Synthesis patcher for some reason omits Heavy Leather Penis Gag and its variants, also some (Unlocked) devices. EDIT It is unreliable and omits many devices, heavy penis gags, DDe piercings, "unlocked" items. Running old 2.1 xEdit script seems to be having the same issue, albeit it does patch some piercings that Synthesis method does not. Likely related to NG patches to those devices, HDT piercings armbinder and new catsuits

Personal experience: Faced an issue where there was too many options to ask NPCs let you free from the binds, and sadly UD doesn't have a switch to prevent NPC dialogues if I was to favour a different mod for this feature.

Notes on Abadon Warrior/Mage/Thief outfits - those do have a habit to SPAM messages if you play mixed builds, nonstop stream of warnings that never have a timeout. Maybe compact them into a single message and add a few seconds cooldown for further warnings?

As on the messages popup themselves - they tend to appear really slow, often much later than actual event happenes. I have a suspicion that some of performance issues (not just with UD but other mods) might be related to popular SSE Engine Fixes which modifies memory calls. Albeit I can't test it thoroughly on my setup without ruining it, for now.

So I've been having problems with controls: My access to the menu(inventory, favorites, power is locked even though hardcore mode is disabled and my hands are not tied.) Can you please help?

It might be related to the fact that something is changing the uppercase 'A' in the "HeavyArmor" from the .ini file into a lowercase 'a'. Im having an issue with Piercings of the Divines, namely that I see that the piercing has been registered in both DD and Unforgiving devices, but cannot be removed from my character. I dont think I had any issues reported when I created the synthesis patch, and they were definitely included in the patch. Clicking on them in my inventory brings up the DD default struggle options, and I can choose unlock with key, and I get the message "successfully unlocked" but theyre still equipped. Obviously I cant drop or store them in containers either. They are also registered in the Unforgiving Devices Debug panel and from there I can choose unlock, but I get an error when I do so. I have also tried unregistering them but all that does is make them disappear from the Debug panel.

Is there any way to force unequip these piercings, they are starting to make it difficult by taking up a useful slot.

I have a weak abadon inflatable plug (anal, cursed) and there is no remove option. It is the only device I have on and is fully deflated. Is there some secret way to remove these or are they just bugged? I removed it using the debug menu because I could not figure it out if there is something else to do. 

 

I have not seen any clear response on the discord to this problem (even though it seems to have been asked a few different times) so I thought I might ask here since I am using the 3.1 and not the nightly builds.

 

I should add: I removed a weak vaginal inflatable plug just fine, it is only happening with the anal variant.

some struggle animations are missing, cannot tell which ones as the options to enable/ disable animation packs in MCM doesnt work. toggling the check box and then clicking reload JSONs does nothing even though the check box stays untoggled, the file ready to use indicator on the right doesnt change

i am trying to synthesis patch for DD NG 4.2 but in sythesis i keep getting this error that the mods are missing. yes both are enabled and in my LO and activated. i have also selceted no patch for UD in the fomod to make the synthesis for it, still this keeps happening

I love how this mod changes being bound completely.

 

Hope there will be more effects for the current abadon devices like for example the restrictive collar tightening around your neck more and more over time to give you another stamina penalty.

 

Or a an evolving Abadon bondage hood that when turned into a cursed version, invades you mind with images of being bound and not resisting over time, just a mild arousing effect at first, but when left on too long, it will make it so the player sometimes refuses to struggle for a minute completely, due to the influence of the hood.

 

Can't wait for Abadon plug quest to get expanded too, hopefully the plug starts making each restraints unescapable one by one if you take too long, having to seek out help and do some things for them to turn the items into being able to be escaped from again.

Please let us increase the rate at which the messages appear/disappear even further.

In the mcm there is a setting to increase the rate device messages can appear/disappear at, but it caps out at too low of a number, so you can get insane backlogs, especially if you increase the possible number of effects each device can have in the mcm.

I have the limit of effects the devices have to 2 min, 10 max, so sometimes when I'm forced to do bound combat just after a Devious Curses event (because some random enemy from Narnia walked all the way over to me) I get a backlog of device messages that is still there after a minute, if I struggle out during the backlog.

I need help patcher isn't patching, it seems syntesis let 86 devices un-patch, I tried with the old xedit patcher and nop, not working, it seems its patching this ones tho

Edit: Soooooooo after days of testing and using SSEEdit I finally got to the root of the issue and patch every devise, no more warning each time I load the game, Syntesis is useless shit cant patch shit, the patch it makes do some of the issues, also Devious devices - BRRF and DD for him cant be patch so I desactived them to see if that helped and yep it helps a lot, now Beast folk and man cant use them so I need to figure out how to make those work, maybe load order, but yep, oh and thanks for the help by the way....

Are you using Vortex? 

I hear Vortex has issues where residue of mods can remain even if you disabled the mod. Stuff like that doesn't happen with MO2 afaik.

suddenly My Orgasm Bar is Not Visible, Its working in Background, but Progress is not visible, it was working fine before, have started new game Aswell but facing the same problem. Please help with this.

Is there a way to force-close the popup menus? When the petsuit suddenly locks on you due to crouching too long, the menu comes up but has no options to click and there's no way to exit that menu, I have had this problem before with devices being added via other mods. When the menu comes up, you cant even esc out of it to open MCM or main menu, you just have to kill the process.

The one thing I can do is pull up the console

When I register a non-follower npc whose arms are bound,her cloth will disappear after a few seconds.This also happens when i dismiss registered followers in bondage.Registered followers and unregistered non-follower npcs can wear cloth when arms bound.There seems to be an option to prevent npc's outfit remove when bound in MCM,but it doesn't work whether I open or close it.

I look into the plugin and see that there is a tail plug that doesn't even properly patched, even weirder that there is only 1 of it when in DDNG there are 4 of them

You have to have the first effect of Black Goo unlocked (just eat it) and enter the Whiterun area. You don't even need to be in the city to start the quest, but the npc you need to speak to is in the city.

I wish you could disable the dart trap feature, it's just annoying. Like others pointed out it's not even mentioned in the description, but that's not even my main issue. I feel like it reinforces the (flawed) approach  that DD mod authors take where they try to force the player into devices at every point in the game, which gets tedious pretty fast.

 

Edit: could still be a bug I guess but not desired anyway
