Quick search reveals I am not the only one that had this problem. Someone mentioned it as well in May, but they didn't go anywhere further with it. 

 

I'll turn off the settings to test it out next time I get a chance, but if any of the default Hider settings is the culprit this still means something's not right. An item should not disappear if covered by itself. This is a catsuit not a bra, a belt, a harness or corset, or a piercing at the same time.

Hey so there's a new DD NG out (4.2) and I upgraded.

 

On their page, they recommend using the Synthesis Patcher and running the UDScripts for it. I did that - I think correctly - and I have a UD Scripts.esp in my load order.

 

But when I start the game I get a pop-up saying that UD detected some devices were patched incorrectly. At first it said 42 devices. Then I ran synthesis once more, and it said 2 devices. Then I ran synthesis again, and it says one device is patched incorrectly.

 

What's my next step in troubleshooting this? How do I find out which device is patched incorrectly? Are there any common mistakes or things to check for?

Abadon Witch suit is forcing thge use of healing and lighting bold. Character is a Conjurer and can summon Demora Lords. (with very little skill points into destruction)

I'm in the middle of Blackreach. How do I get rid of that effect?

You are missing the most important part, cleaning the save with resaver. Without it, you would just break your save. So it should be 

  1. go somewhere secluded
  2. Save
  3. deactivate UD, ALL DD mods including the ones requiring DD
  4. Hope you will not crash when loading the save. If you CTD, you are fucked
  5. save again
  6. Clean the save with resaver
  7. reactivate DD and all mods?

 

Thanks again. May I ask if it's a good idea to unlock all/unregister all NPCs before uninstalling?

It's a Red Leather Blindfold from Expansion.esp. Dunno how to fix it tho.

upd. with xEdit removed broken reference in patched esp and message is gone for me, I understand it's not a fix but rather an error bypass.

Does that mean that as long as we avoid using the Red Leather Blindfold we won't have any issues?

 

What happens if the Red Leather Blindfold, unpatched?

I am using Papyrus Tweaks. I've tried a combination of settings including defaults, significantly increasing the max ops per frame (I have the CPU for it) and enabling bSpeedUpNativeCalls. Both helped a lot of things but didn't have a big enough impact on UD.

 

It doesn't happen immediately, but is reproducible when outside and about the Whiterun plains.

I've found this is caused by the exposure settings, which have always caused max arousal for me but it disappeared while I was trying out OSL Aroused since I think it doesn't use the same system. I've also switched to SLO Aroused NG and I found that turning the Exposure settings down to minimum solved the issue and better balanced other SL mods too.

I have no issues so far, I guess if it's unpatched it just behaves normal like a default DD instead of UD.

I've found a bug with follower-assisted lockpicking: The lockpicking interface appearing before the dual animation is in position causes the follower to get stuck in the animation loop.

My game keeps crashing and I think (By looking at the crash log) that there is a problem with this mod and the Papyrus thing, can someone help me finding out what's wrong or what I did wrong, please?

 

EDIT: I'll give further details, this happens whenever I load a game, regardless of what save file I load it crashes and the crash log shows the same error.

Not sure if anyone stumbled over the same problem. For a while now, around early midgame, i start to have very (20-30 sec) long loading screens (changing indoor/outdoor)  and 2-5 second frezzes when running around in the wilderness and even closing Skyrim takes a while. First i thought it would start when i enter a certain region. But i begun game in such region and got the same when entered normal start region. I tried deactivating several mods and when deactivated Unforgiving Device the loading screen got back to normal (1-2 sec) and the frezzes where gone. The problem starts more or less suddenly after around 30-40 hours of play. UD works fine otherwise and i would be very sad if i could not use it anymore. If i remember right it started around, when i upgraded to UD 3.0.1 (hard to tell cause of the long time it takes to get bad).  Using 3.1 now and yes i allways did a new game start when i upgraded. Thanx for the wonderfull mod, hope to come to a solution .

I'm using DD NG, I'm currently having a problem where synthesis is refusing to run because of a dotnet error. 

Would someone be able to give me a copy of their synthesis patch esp that I can use?

Not sure if I asked this before, but is there a way to change the frequency of crit opportunities? That is, make struggling less/more of a game of skill?

What do I do with crits never ever appearing? Before the 3.0 update, they triggered as normal, but now they never do. This happens across the saves, I tried using Synthesis, I tried using UD Patches, hell, I even tried installing IWantWidgets, none of it helped. Everything else works as intended.

Using the latest non-AE SE version, I did check Papyrus Tweaks version, upgrading to 4.1.1 from 4.1.0 did not help either.

after some more troubleshooting confirmed that its not just MCM problem mod actually doesnt use any modifiers, wile other systems work fine

When you use Skyrim VR, it would be convenient to control the mod with gestures. Would you mind to add spells for the 8 keypress options? that would make it possible to use the mod in VR.

I have the setting enabled that doesn't let me access the inventory when my hands are tied, as well as hardcore access mode. If I want to get out of my restraints I have to get rid of my armbinder first (If I'm wearing one), and pressing the 'struggle button' shows me a message box where I can choose between methods to try to escape the armbinder. That's fine.

 

However, it has happened a few times now that I was wearing arm cuffs, and while I was trying to struggle from something else (let's say a gag), some sentient device tied the arm cuffs behind my back to stop me escaping. If that happens, I don't seem to have a way to attempt to escape my cuffs-turned-armbinder. I can't access my inventory, and if i press the struggle button, it doesn't show me the cuffs, but instead it shows the device I last struggled with, which is the gag. The gag is now impossible to reach, so I can't do anything there. As far as I can tell, the only way is to ask someone else for help which brings up a list of all my devices to choose from. So I think if I'm alone in a dungeon in this situation, I'm just screwed although I shouldn't be.

Hold the button for like 2 seconds instead of just pressing it. It will show the list of all devices you are wearing and shows which ones can be struggled out of right now.
