you not only ruined the original idea of the mod to serve for the guest bringing Food and drink while the guest try to get the maid for prostitution, pulling her in, not only there is a long neverending bug history, now you made it to ruin the AI of AFT.  so i am out here. no excuses.

To counter that, I have been testing this out over few versions and I am quite happy with it. I haven't found any major bugs, or funny stuff with AI and follower mods.

 

Might be, because I keep my mods in order, master files clean and saves cleaned from orphaned scripts. Sloppy housekeeping can cause strange effects in game.

 

Anyway, I just wanted to thank you for keeping this mod alive. I am enjoying it...

... and I guess my character enjoys it as well. :blush:

Korial - I have one good and one bad news. The good news is that I discovered what is causing freezing sex scenes in my game with old people. It is the mod: "No more old women". I have that mod for a long time since I can't imagine having sex with oldies. Is there any possibility to check this out? If not, it's OK. I will simply avoid having sex with old people when being sent to do the job.

 

Bad news is that dialogue lines are still mixed up for male and female prostitutes. They aren't in so many numbers as before, but still. Well, that is not a big issue, just bit unusual. If you want I can make a track of them and post them on your PM.

Did you try out the new Food Job? Because I can't figure out how to get it working on my end. 

 

 

I have to admit that I did not. I am doing some WIP testing for my friend tonight, so I will try food jobs as well.

Finally unlocked the giant quest, I like it!

 

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but It would make the quest a little more polished if there were some giant hay piles in the camps, and then the normal bed/sleep script was run on the giants after the act was finished. Then the player character would have to pick pocket the giants instead of looting them, and their camp while they were "DEAD asleep".. could make for an interesting experience if the player character gets caught. :D

 

Over all I like the addition, great idea!

Not sure if this bug was addressed earlier but i cant start the Military Camp quests. the request pops up but when i select it, no quest marker appears and when i go to MCM menu i can no longer select the quest portion. could someone please help? Im really wanting to get to this Giant quest

I even have the problem that the dialogue option for military camps is missing, but it should already be unlocked because I can accept random quests (If I remember correctly they are unlocked after the camp job).

Confirmed - military quest is broken.

Military quest is definitely broken. When asking Hulda about military quest, the dialogue got broken and the Quest menu from RP MCM disappear. I can't even reset the quests. Picture attached:

Heh. Just after I got to tell that I haven't met any problems so far, new character encounters CTD in her first home delivery.

She is meeting Taarie in Solitude. Game CTDs, when scene should be iniated.

 

I restarted couple of times to make sure that tit is persistent. I will try to load a previous save later today.

Uploaded Version 1.08:

  • Replaced Food Job with new and improved Version
  •     -Randomized Selection of fines Foods available. Depenting on you installed mod there can be some wierd orders (Salt Pile, Sack of Flour, bottle of milk)
  •     -You no longer fail the Job enterly if you fuck up the order. Just return to your inn keeper and order more food but beware the gust will only pay for what he ordered and wont be happy if you deliver the wrong food.
  •     -Chance to maximize you gold earnings at the end of the quest.
  • Added User Logging to Companion Quests to see if the events are triggered right
  • Add Missing Shutdown Stage to Fan Quest
  • Add Monitoring Function if you dont give your inn keeper enough money after the Inn Job and Food Job, currently no consequences but they will be there one day

 

Very cool and look forward to that being added.

 

Just curious if you can't fail the food job what are the downsides now? If I might suggest something.

Well the client is not happy if you fuck up his order so he will reduce the money he pays. as you have to pay the inn keeper for the food you took you eventually pay the inn keeper more then the clients paid you. Also you can ask the inn keeper if there is a way to increase your tip. she/he will provided you with the starting cloths then with will double your tips if your wear them.

 

I tried out the new Food Job and encountered a bug I guess:

When I accept the quest and talk to a customer, the dialogue looks like this:

PC: "Do you need anything?"

Customer: "Yes, there is something i like..."

PC: "A [...], A[...], and A[...] right?

Customer: "Yes."

 

Then when you return to the innkeeper to get the order there are also only messed up options:

- A[...]

- A[...]

- A[...]

- A[...]

- That's all

 

so the problem is:

First you have no Idea what the customer ordered, and second you don't get any items from the innkeeper, so you can't complete your job.

 

My question:

Could it be that my RP version is concurring with an older version? :-/

I had it installed all the time and didn't manually uninstall it when updating, so there could be old files that are no longer in use...

Or did you maybe forget putting the correct dialogue options into ver 1.08 ? ;)

Would this mod be compatible with other mods that add NPCs? Such as Interesting or Inconsequential NPCs?

 

It has worked fine for me with Interesting NPCs.  I'm still using version 1.05d, though, since I don't want to upgrade to the new SL until I'm ready to start a new game.

Hi Korial, first of all I want to thank you for the update. I'm sorry but I have to report two bugs so far.

 

1. I set solicitation to "both". After few "I'm looking for a client..." passive solicitation stopped to work until I approach to a potential client. Once the client accept the job, passive solicitation works, but only for 3-4 clients, and that circle repeats. Passive solicitation has same symptoms.

 

2. In home delivery quest, there is always freezing with Penelope in Arcadia's Cauldron in Whiterun and occasional freezing when having sex with old people. I didn't report it before since I wanted to make sure first, but in all last few versions there is a problem with old people. Sometimes the the game doesn't freeze when it comes to sex with old people and especially with Penelope.

 

 

Now, regarding the tip you gave me about saving the edited dialogue line. I guess I'm stupid since I can't make it work. But, I found a true mod that has the special file for people who edited their dialogue lines using Tes5edit. It is - Apropos, by Gooser. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/28123-apropos/

it is in download section under Apropos_Beta_2014_04_24-no-descriptions.7z

 

So, I'm begging you again to help me with this. Thank you a lot.

 

Ah-ha! So I'm not alone with this thing with the stopping passive mode.

Uploaded new Version 1.08a:

  • Camp Job: now the Dialog Conditions no longer rely on the Quest Stage but use a internal stage variable. Should fix problems with non visible dialogue
  • Changed Config for starting cloths to support more then 2 items.

The config looks like this now:

The "chestPiece" property needs to contain the armor or chest piece so it gets recognized by the Working Cloths function. The "rest" property contains the remainder of the items you get. The items need to be separeted with a comma and would look like this:

No worries, as I said it was a random thought/idea I had that I thought I would share and see if it perked your interest as something you would like to do and/or could do.

 

As you have guessed by now, I enjoy brain storming and tossing out idea's. :)

Ok, I think I got a problem. My papyrus0.log file is around 12MB big when I run Skyrim for about 10min (that seems a bit big).

also my MCM menu did still show RP ver 1.08 after installing ver1.08a

Edit: I just read it a little and all I understand, is that there is a problem with an empty array again and again. It only exists of that error message.

I was having the same issue, I was able to advance to the giant quest anyway though by acknowledging the new jobs, and then declining them (not sure if that step was really necessary but...), then going on the vanilla prostitution quest where the goal is to walk around the inn or town/guard barracks and sleep with as many customers as you can before morning (my character usually works the "night shift" :D). Every time you see a number of customers and then come back to pay the inn keeper their cut it advances the over all quest line the next time you see the inn keeper.

 

Actually that gives me another idea for a suggestion which is, maybe an notion to set the amount of gold received and the chance of success depending on the time of day (for example you may have better luck at night as most people are trying to "unwind after a hard day's work").

Regarding the food service quest; is anybody else having an issue where the items aren't removed from your inventory after you give the customer their order? The gold value of the food is usually more than the tips which I suppose is nice, but it does kind of mess with stuff if you're using, say, Realistic Needs and Diseases.

 

Someone earlier in the thread mentioned the food service quest was giving them orders for '[...], [...], and [...]'. I had this too, and I believe it was a problem with my scads of new food mods and load order.

Well, the problem started when she said that she has a new job for me, when I refused to go to military camp since I wanted to stay a little bit more in tavern and home deliver quest, When I came back to her later asking for military job, then this problem started.

By the way, just tested farmer quest with giants and companions Nature quest. All went well. No problems at all.

 

There is still problem in using SL's hotkeys. Most of the hotkeys doesn't work. I'm talking about aligning keys.
